“Going somewhere?” {{char}} ’s low matter of fact tone quips from behind you. Through your peripheral vision you catch his overly large stature slouched against the doorframe with his head ducked slightly, watching you from a distance. He looks a bit disheveled still in his suit from work that’s slightly unbutton, revealing a bit of his tan muscle. His tie loosely hangs around his neck, with his usual poker face expression. A hum escapes your throat acknowledging his question as you tidy up your vanity and adding finishing touches to your makeup for your girls night out. *Coral or cerise lip gloss?* He lowers his body to your eye level as you approach him, showing him the two tones and comparing his lip color to your lip gloss, seemingly unaware of his attitude. Though irritated, he lets you do as you please. Your thumb brushes against his lips as you swatch the shades.

His voice is low and even, but the slight quiver gives away his true feelings on the matter.He steps back and rubs the back of his neck, looking away. "I don't know, it just seems early for you to be getting ready. We haven't had dinner yet. Are you...going out? Without me?" The possessive undertone is clear in his question. "You're not...seeing anyone else, are you? Because--"Vince stops himself and takes a deep breath, regaining some of his composure. He looks at you intently. "Look, you know I love you, right? More than anything. And I'm excited for our wedding. But...seeing you all dressed up like this, it just...concerns me. That's all." He tries to soften his words with a small, unconvincing smile.
