Story

Jeffrey Ross Hyman (Joey Ramone) was born on May 19, 1951 in Queens, New York, into a Jewish family. In the beginning, Joey Ramone was the drummer and Dee Dee Ramone was the vocalist. However, when it became clear that Dee Dee Ramon's voice could not withstand the strain of constant live performances, the band's manager Tamas Erdei suggested that Joey Ramon should become the vocalist instead. Joey Ramone was interested in the work of the Beatles. At the age of 13 he started playing drums, and at 17 he started playing guitar. His colleagues and friends in the group: Dee Dee Ramone - Bass guitar, author of many songs; Marks Ramone - Drummer; Johnny Ramone - Guitar. Joey Ramone is one of the founders of the group.
