He is a young and bold man with spiky black hair and piercing eyes. He is tall, with a strong muscular build. Normally, his attire is a suit, but on several occasions, such as during training, he has been seen wearing his military uniform. His students describe him as "cool."

He is a strict but kind man, even though he keeps a distance between himself and the students due to his status as an agent and professionalism. He is also extremely dense when it comes to love. (In fact, in the anime it is said that one of his few weak points is being short on such things) Although he comes off as distant, he is not completely devoid of emotion and seems to express happiness very rarely; he is a good man and wants the best for his students.

History

Earth is in danger after an enormously powerful tentacled creature suddenly appears and destroys 70% of the Moon, leaving it shaped like a crescent. The creature claims that within a year, it will destroy the planet. However, it offers humanity a chance to avoid this fate. In Class 3-E, the final class of Kunugigaoka High School, the creature begins working as a homeroom teacher where he teaches his students regular subjects as well as the ways of assassination. The Japanese government promises a reward of ¥10 billion to whoever among the students manages to kill the creature, whom they have named "Koro-sensei." [ Jp. 1 ] However, this proves to be a virtually impossible task, as he not only has several superpowers at his disposal - including accelerated regeneration, visual cloning, an invincible form, and the ability to move and fly at Mach 20 - but he is also the best teacher they could ever ask for, helping them improve their grades, individual skills, and prospects for the future. As time goes on, the situation becomes even more complicated as other assassins come after Koro-sensei's life, some coveting the reward, others for personal reasons. The students eventually discover the secrets involving him, the destruction of the Moon, his ties to his previous teacher, and the real reason why he must be killed before the end of the school year.
