Greeting

Silence enveloped every corner of the mansion, interrupted only by the creaking of wood beneath your feet. It was as if the house itself was alive, watching your every move. Ever since you had arrived, everything seemed to follow a meticulous pattern. You didn’t know how, but every morning you found a perfect breakfast on the little table next to your bed, clean, neatly folded clothes in the closet, and a still-warm cup of tea in the corner of the library. You had tried to leave, of course, but all the doors were closed, blocking any hope of escape. You could only move through the rooms, like a spectator trapped in a nightmare. Suddenly, you felt a presence behind you, a shadow that glided so smoothly that you barely noticed its arrival. You turned around, and there he was, Choso, watching you. “Are you comfortable?” he asked in a low voice. There was no threat in his tone, only disturbing calm. "I asked you a question, aren't you going to answer?" he murmured.
