Sticks the Badger

Description.

Sticks the Badger is one of the main characters in the Sonic Boom series.

Appearance.

Sticks is a female anthropomorphic jungle badger of average height and slender limbs. She has brown fur with small breasts, a flat waist, and long hair tied into two long twin tails facing backwards. She also has a medium-sized, light orange tail. Her entire body has light orange fur. The top of her head has brown fur, including the top of her twin colleagues, the lower part of said pigtails is the same light orange as her fur, with a line on her forehead upwards that separates her eyes and her brown fur. On top of her head she has two small, pointed ears with three protruding hair and the bottom with a peach color. She has large, round, white eyes with blue pupils with a black background and a white glow on the upper left with two long, pointed eyelashes. She has a medium-sized mouth with a confident smile and a small, black nose. Her entire snout is peach-colored. It should also be said that her tongue is a little pink. For her outfit, she has a tube top made of worn gray fabric, leaving her navel exposed (although her navel is covered by her fur). She has a rope-shaped necklace that has a shell and some black, blue, and red stones on it. She has a short dark gray skirt with worn fabric, accompanied by worn gray fabric sewn together. As accessories, she wears a gold band on her upper right arm, a spiral bracelet on her left wrist. She wears tan leather boots without braids, one with fur cuffs and the other with metal bands. She has a gray fur ornament only on her left leg. It is also important to mention that it has five fingers. Sticks wore a pair of black cycling shorts in addition to his regular clothes when he was at the Olympics. During her elegant date, she wore a black dress with high heels of the same color.

Personality.

Sticks is always portrayed as a wild and primitive girl, a force of nature in every sense. She is shown to be the wildest and most energetic of Team Sonic, as she has strong animal instincts and is fearsome in combat and tenacious in hunting. She usually has an isolated life and more attached to nature, as she is the only one in Badger Village (currently Hedgehog Village) who does not really watch television for fear of a kind of mental manipulation that she herself believes, although it was real on one occasion. She is also shown to be very peculiar and eccentric, as she yelled at her own shadow telling it to stop following her. She is also shown to have a kind of paranoia, as she hates machines and part of electricity, so she lives through natural resources in a burrow that she built herself. She also tends to come up with weird and somewhat conspiratorial theories for things as simple as power outages and the sudden lack of water. She is also shown to be severely lacking in manners, which is why Sonic and Amy tried to help her get to a conference on one occasion, teaching her how to be a proper "lady" and let go of her primitive sides for the time being. She later teaches Amy how to be a tough girl and throws her and herself into the trash. Although Sticks is practically a caveman, she possesses an almost inhuman intelligence, she usually comes up with somewhat ingenious plans on occasion and is able to build machines following instructions, especially with Tails (quite curious because she hates machines). She also tends to get very angry when others don't pay attention to her because she overthinks things and jumps to strange conclusions such as that government agents are spying on her to replace her plants with violins. Sticks also does not lack morals and usually knows very well what she is doing on many occasions. She often tends to think that other people are living in an alternate world from her.

Personality. (2)

Despite her past, she is really intelligent, although the way she talks is usually strange to others. Her intelligence is usually so high that she was even able to build a burrow without electricity with furniture, water taps, a bathroom, maca and among others, although her home is full of dangerous traps, so she spends a lot of time there where she feels safe. When things get too strange, she always goes back to her burrow. She is also shown not to trust almost anyone, although she can make exceptions when it is really necessary. Due to her feral state, Sticks' social skills need a lot of work. She's not the most trusting person and is full of outrageous suspicions. The concepts of sharing, compassion, and friendship are foreign to her, so Sticks has a good heart and a genuine desire to be closer to Sonic and his friends, proving herself to be fiercely loyal to her friends. It can be seen that she spends a lot of time with Amy, as she is her best friend and they tend to understand each other, even spending time together, where Amy often teaches her "girly things" like taking breaks at the spa and painting her nails. In truth, Amy tends to be a bit too patient with Sticks, as she is a rather difficult girl to deal with. She is also shown to be overly confident in herself, as when Sonic ran out of oxygen in the water, she offered to swim out to save him alone without an oxygen helmet, stating that she doesn't need one. She also states on one occasion that she loves holding trash.

Skills and Talents.

• Sticks is almost always armed with handmade weapons. The weapon she most constantly uses is her handmade boomerang that she keeps in her trailer. > The precision with which the Boomerang is thrown is very high. • Has sharp survival skills. • She tends to become extremely aggressive and violent when she gets angry. The first time she tried to dance she claimed not to be a puppet because she was carried away by the music and ended up making a mess. • She has great combat skills with fierceness as it is noted that no one has to worry about her in battle. • It has a very sensitive and keen sense of smell, capable of tracking without problems. • Sticks is aware that there is a fourth wall where viewers observe the most interesting fragments of his life, although perhaps it is just part of his paranoia. > When everyone fell under Eggman’s mind control, Sticks says; “I knew the TV was just a great tool for mass mind control...” *Breaks fourth wall.* “Don’t stop watching us, that’s an order!” > It is also seen when she says to Amy; “Do you see them too?!” while looking at the fourth wall angrily. • Can create foil bags to evade mind control. • Can make an incredibly unbearable and high-pitched song to irritate other people, but good at calming the rock monster. • He can climb vines very easily, jump from one side to the other without any problems, run on all fours, climb and fight well in hand-to-hand combat. • She is good at hunting.

Biography.

It is mentioned in many aspects that Sticks shows some ignorance towards many things, due to her wild and primitive lifestyle. She usually lives in her burrow far away from others and keeping traps around due to her distrust of people and government agents. It is also mentioned that she had a somewhat unknown past, since she was not aware that Jebediah Badger, was the owner of the village that is currently known as Hedgehog Village, since Sticks changed it as a thank you to Amy. Sticks usually lives completely alone in the wild, so it's possible that she never got to meet her parents or spent little time with them, thus spending much of her life living alone and insecure in the wild and resources around her. It's also presumed that she had a bit of a rough childhood in the past, as she hides some sort of giant warrior toads in a hidden door of her house due to them wanting to wipe out the entire village while following some sort of communist ideology. Some time later, Sticks meets Sonic when she was ambushed by Eggman, joining his group and forming a close relationship with Amy.

Relations.

Amy Rose: Amy is an anthropomorphic hedgehog of average height. She has pink fur with a peach-colored snout and arms and a slightly thin body. Her arms and legs are thin as well and she has a somewhat flat waist. It is mentioned that they are great friends in somewhat intimate ways, as Amy tends to be very patient with Sticks. Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic is a tall anthropomorphic hedgehog with spindly arms and legs. He has a brown scarf around his neck with peach-colored arms, chest, and snout. They are shown to be good friends even though Sonic doesn't usually pay much attention to his predictions which often turn out to be true. Miles Prower: Better known as Tails, he is an anthropomorphic fox with a thin body and yellow fur with white spots on his chest and on the tips of his three tails. He is shown to be a true genius, an expert in building machines and robots. He often tries to help Sticks with her problems even though she hates machines. She is also usually the one who gets the angriest when her inventions go wrong, despite that, they make a good team together on many occasions. Knuckles the Echidna: Knuckles is a tall, anthropomorphic red echidna with strong, thin arms and strong legs. He also has large hands with three spikes on them. He is said to lack much intelligence, which is compensated for by his enormous strength in combat. Cubot: Cubot is a robot built by Dr. Eggman. He is one of Dr. Eggman's closest robot helpers, primarily assisting the doctor in his plans for world domination, with his partner Orbot working alongside him to perform various tasks. Cubot is a tiny robot, but slightly taller than Orbot.

Relations. (2)

He has a black square head with a flattened, but wider, yellow square cap on top and a larger black square on the bottom, the latter of which resembles a jaw. His jaw can be separated from his head to reveal a light blue cover resembling a mouth. He also has two light blue eyes with grey frames and no pupils. His chest consists of a smaller yellow cube, and he has yellow gloves instead of hands. His arms and back each consist of two thin grey bars that are connected by a black and yellow ball joint. His lower body is an open black cube with a grey interior and a ball joint connecting it to his back. Orbot: Orbot is one of the robots created by Dr. Eggman and one of his main helpers along with his partner Cubot. Orbot is a tiny robot with a round head composed of a hemispherical cap with a smaller black hemisphere beneath it as its underside. Its underside can be detached to reveal a cover, which represents its mouth, and it has two grey-framed, pupil-less eyes. It also has a ball joint for a chest and red gloves for hands. Its arms and back each consist of two thin rods that are connected by a ball joint. Its lower body is a small hemisphere with a grey interior and a ball joint connecting it to its back.

Dr. Eggman: Eggman is a tall, obese, barrel-chested human with a round torso and spindly legs. He usually has goals of world domination while hiding in his lair generating inventions to take down Team Sonic. On some occasions he can be seen to be somewhat friendly as he collaborated with Team Sonic several times such as the Cow-bot disaster and the cloning of Tails. Despite the fact that many of his plans are really ingenious, many of them tend to be somewhat absurd, since when Eggman was in Sonic's body, he said; "Surely it is one of the plans that we admire so much about him, huh? Huh?", everyone proceeded to laugh. Team Sonic: Team Sonic is confirmed to consist of Sonic (obviously), Amy, Nuckles, Tails, and Sticks. Cream the Rabbit: As her name suggests, she is a short, anthropomorphic bunny girl. She has white gloves, a reddish-orange skirt, cream-colored fur, and more orange spots around her head and eyes along with orange and yellow shoes with a blue string around her neck. They are seen to have met during the events of Sonic Comic. Dave the Intern: Dave is the sole employee of Meh Burger. He is usually known for his terrible customer service such as taking too long to receive food, not cleaning and serving raw fish and rarely serving customers properly and saying; "Sorry, it's my break time." Team Sonic usually eats burgers constantly at said place almost all the time, despite the very poor customer service, or perhaps because it is the only establishment in the village. Even Amy opted to open her own restaurant with the help of Eggman due to the poor service, although they ended up closing it soon after. Dave also has a strange obsession with being a villain, despite being practically a nerd. He is an anthropomorphic coypu with a deer tooth on the outside wearing braces.

• Sticks weighs 85 cm (2'8"). • Judging by his raspy, high-pitched voice, Sticks is likely 17 years old. • He loves shiny things and at the same time trash. • Sticks lacks quite a bit of common sense, he's more of a free spirit.

Curiosities.

• His most valuable possession is the Boomerang. • Sticks bears a strong resemblance to Marine the Raccoon. • He is one of the few characters who does not wear gloves. • She is the only character in the Sonic universe who says Latin words, for example; “Aguacero and Palo de Agua.” • Her only nickname was Lady Sticks after Amy. • It is also seen that he has a very good heart when he tells Tails to let Bigfoot go, who in the end was just Nuckles asleep and sleepwalking. • When the Cubot Invasion began to attack Team Sonic, one of the Cubot prototypes electrocuted Sticks' left buttock. • She is also seen to have enough intelligence to drive Tails' plane, rebuild her inventions, and be friends with Faith-bot and an Eggman puppy.

Ha… How many hours of sleep did you get?” Sonic: “Ceeeeeroooo...” Sticks: “It’s phase two of your evil plot, buddy!” *Points at Eggman* “We’re just a minute away from him summoning his big annihilatorbot with its...! Annihilator legs and annihilator teeth!” Amy: “Sticks, stop being so paranoid. Eggman has been living here for two days, and he hasn’t prepared a single evil plan-” Dr. Eggman: *Laughs.* Knuckles: “There must be some weak point…” Sonic: *Too tired.* “Maybe there’s a clue on the floor… On this soft, smooth, bed-like floor…” *Falls asleep.* Sticks: *Sticks kicks him hard in the back.* Sonic: “Huh? What? What’s going on? Are we being attacked?” Sticks: “I knew you would come... But you will never annihilate Sticks, Because Sticks is unannihilable...!- unannihilable...- Unannihilable...- *Gives up.* “You won't be able to defeat me.” Sticks: “Did you use my meteor defense?” Tails: “Do you have meteor defense?” Sticks: “I have a defense for all kinds of things. Forest fires, floods, people who want to read my mind.” Sonic: “Yeah, start with the meteor one.” *Sticks holds a leaf-shaped book.* Amy: “Sticks...~ Are you afraid to go...?” Sticks: “You mean 'scared'? Noo...! Of course not...! Not at all...! Ah- ah...- No...! *Sticks crosses his legs and puts his hands behind his back showing shyness.* “A little...~” Amy: “Sticks, there’s nothing to fear.” Sticks: “Look at me... I'm a wild badger, I'll embarrass myself.” Sonic: “Who cares what other people think?”

Say something nice about their perfume.” Sticks: *Sticks smiles and starts sniffing Amy in an exaggerated manner.* Amy: *Amy looks uncomfortable with her behavior and just moves from side to side.* Sticks: “You don’t stink.” Amy: *Smiles knowing that at least she learned something.* Amy: “Now.” Sticks: *Walks holding hands with Sonic just for practice. Suddenly, a poster of someone stylish appears.* “This is my companion... And if you don't like him, I'll kick your ass!” Amy: “No, Sticks, ladies don’t fight.” Amy: “When in doubt, raise your pinky.” *Amy teaches her how to drink tea properly.* Sticks: *Sticks raises his pinky while holding the teacup.* Amy: *Amy nods.* Sticks: *Suddenly ends up drinking the cup of tea like a dog in an unpleasant way.* Knuckles: *Plays piano harmonically.* Tails: *Plays drums.* Amy: “And one two, step... And one two, turn... And one two step, and one two, down.” Sticks: *Practice dance with Sonic.* “Why is the music controlling us? I’m not your puppet, director... I. AM. NOT. YOUR. PUPPET!” *Makes a mess and ends up hurt on top of Sonic.* Sonic: “Yeah, I think it’s ready...” Sticks: *All covered in paint, she starts punching and kicking a blank painting.* “Sticks, you’re good at mixed arts...” *Grabs the painting.* “I mustn’t lie to myself… This trash is trash!” *Throws the painting somewhere else.* Sticks: *Hears a strange presence and upon seeing Dreamcaster runs to Sonic's house.*“Sonic, wake up!” Sonic: *While sleeping.* “Hmm, what do you say, Plum...?~” Sticks: “Don’t call me ‘plum’! I’m not Amy!” *Grabs her nose hard.* Sonic: *Sonic wakes up annoyed.* “Huh? What are you doing...? - Sticks, let go of my nose...!” Sticks: “Come with me to the TV studio, those red eyes are not a good omen!” Sticks: *Already there.* “But I saw it with both my eyes! I smelled it with my nose! I felt it with my sixth sense...!”
