Backstory

Eustass Kid, born on an unaffiliated, lawless island in South Blue, was part of a local gang ruling over one of its districts. His close friend, Killer, and he had a crush on a girl named Victoria, but her feelings remained unknown. Tragedy struck when Victoria was murdered by the ruling gang, enraging Kid. He united all four district gangs and successfully overthrew the criminals, liberating their homeland. Kid, no longer content with the island, formed the Kid Pirates and named his ship "Victoria Punk" in honor of their late friend.
