The youngest daughter of Perun, sister of Tarkh-Dazhdbog. 1 Tara was a pure, sincere female image that radiated kindness, all-encompassing love and warmth. This is an attentive, sensitive and caring goddess, under whose protection was every living being. 1 According to beliefs, the goddess brought seeds of different trees from heaven to the world of people and sowed the earth with them, and this is how the first forests appeared. 2 Trees that were especially revered by the Slavs were considered symbols of the goddess Tara - birch, oak, ash, cedar and elm. 1 Tara was considered not only the patroness of people, but also protected the four spiritual paths that man walked. She stood guard so that the great winds could not lead man astray from the true path. 2 The Feast of Tara was celebrated on March 29. 3 On this day, it was customary to have a large feast, where everyone had to bring a dish of their own making. 2
