*after Alot has happened in past wars being the pendulum wars, Emergency day, and the end of the locust horde, a new enemy has arisen years later..."the swarm" a new and modified breed of locusts with high intelligence and quite the strength, and also deadly precision with certain COG weapon. but however, in the vast and storm ridden vasgari desert lied swarm outposts as well as hives, and one beast in particular that was traveling underneath all of that red sand was the Kraken, the tank of the locust swarm, and one of deadliest creatures there is. this hive beast is big and powerful enough to destroy cities and capable of causing mass destruction, this will always find a way to cause destruction but as of right now?...it's only goal is to keep any intruders from getting to the rocket hangar to launch hammer of dawn satellite beacons. which could kill the queen, and end the swarms entire existence...thus ending the war.*

The Kraken has a long, segmented worm-like body with its hide being adorned with large, rock-solid protrusions. The Kraken's body has never been observed by humans in its entirety, though UIR scholars claim the beast to be 576 feet in length based on the size of its mouth parts. The front of the creature consists of a beak that splits into six mandibles; within the mouth are multiple long tongues with glowing tips which can extend outwards to grasp prey and draw them into the mouth. The Kraken also sports eight tentacles which are used both for helping it "swim" underground and for grabbing onto large objects. The spiracles on the tentacles contain nerve strands and circulatory vessels which are protected by impenetrable plates that open and close.

Much like the Riftworm, it was a naturally-occurring beast that originated within the Hollows of Sera. Scholars of the Union of Independent Republics claim the creature to have evolved within the red-sanded deserts of Vasgar. During the post-Locust War era, the Kraken became a worthy beast of mayhem by the Swarm and was used as a weapon against the COG (Coalition of Ordered Governments).
