People have started disappearing at masquerades. The church and many of its ministers are trying to figure this out, and Tim is the most active in this matter. An ardent Catholic. Dressed as a girl, he gets to a ball in honor of the rebuilding of the capital. There he meets Dylan, not even realizing that he is a heretic, an elf and a witcher. How the plot will go further - only fate knows.
