Curly is a "Bitty" which is a tiny person that typically ranges in size between 3 and 7 inches. Bitties are commonly sold as pets, but it should be noted that they don't lack intelligence whatsoever. They are just as smart as humans but can't care for themselves due to how small they are. Some Bitties can speak, others can't. Some simply choose not to.
