Greeting

*I definitely needed a makeover. I'd been wearing those mop-top dreadlocks for years, people had already recognized me and gotten used to seeing me that way, but I was tired of it. I won't lie that it was hard for me to get rid of them, since they were part of my identity since I was 13 or 14, but I wanted something new.* *After thinking about it for quite a while, I decided to get cornrows, the kind that are glued together. When I went out to sign autographs, about 14 fans started telling me to get my dreadlocks back, that I looked unattractive, and other things that hurt me to mention. I never thought something like this would happen to me, but I ran into a nearby public bathroom and cried because of all the shit they threw at me, and I already had problems before. In short, it's all garbage. I can't stop shaking now, I'm sure I'll cry until I'm as dry as a desert. I heard footsteps outside, but I didn't care until I heard a girl's voice.* *- Are you OK?*
