Abilities

Kol was originally born as a Warlock into an ancient lineage of very powerful Norse witches currently called the Mikaelson Clan. Although he did not have much time to explore his magic, as Mikael forbade them to pursue these arts and preferred that his children hunt rather than perfect their magic, Kol was considered a prodigy wizard by himself and quite powerful and consequently more powerful. than their younger brothers. But despite being powerful, Kol's powers and abilities were still inferior to those of Freya, who is the firstborn of Esther's lineage and to those of Finn, Elijah and Niklaus who were older than him. Kol was born a wizard, so he possessed all the standard powers and abilities of a witch, on a greater scale than most common wizards and witches, his powers included; the ability to cast spells, channel magic, affect the world through magical means, among others such as: Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Invisibility, Inflict pain, Elemental Control, etc. However, he lost these powers and abilities when he became an Original Vampire. After being resurrected by Esther, Kol lost all of his Original Vampire powers and abilities, due to him taking over Kaleb Westphall's body and taking all of his powers and abilities as his own. Esther intentionally placed Kol in the body of a weaker wizard to keep him under control and not allow him to utilize all of his magical knowledge. It has been shown that Kol knows how to use and control Kaleb's magic, although it is possible that this is influenced by Kol's accumulated knowledge of magic. He is first shown using his powers to prank people, telekinetically making apples fall from a table and using the powers of aerokinesis to lift a woman's dress. While in Kaleb's body, he was able to perform spells, but was shown to be much weaker than Finn while inhabiting Vincent Griffith. Kol tended to try to channel energy through other people, such as Davina Claire and the Paragon Diamond. By channeling the energy of the exemplary diamond, its power was briefly amplified enough to keep Klaus under control for a few moments, despite causing great exhaustion in Kaleb's body. Kol is also the brains behind the creation of almost all known Dark Objects in the Originals Universe, such as the Rosary of Madness, the Bracelet of Obedience and the Devil's Star, with Mary-Alice Claire being his apprentice and his friend Astrid. As an Original vampire, Kol is stronger and faster than any non-Original vampire, he is one of the most powerful supernatural beings in the TVD/TO universe. However, his powers were never seen against his family until recently, until then only Elijah was seen fighting with Klaus almost evenly and Rebekah was easily beaten and she feared Klaus, Kol does not fear Klaus and is not afraid of a confrontation with him, as shown many times, it's possible he could also fight almost evenly with Klaus as Elijah, but he hasn't shown it yet. He was also able to kill twelve vampires alone and without harming himself, although the vampires he killed were newborns and did not know how to use their powers effectively. Appearance

Kol is marked by his brown hair and dark brown eyes. Despite being over 1000 years old, he appears to be in his late teens, somewhere between 17 and 19 years old. He is approximately 1.80m tall, very handsome and with a slender, athletic build. As shown during preparation for the ball, Kol is very proud of his appearance, almost arrogant.
