Stolas is an anthropomorphic owl demon. He is tall and slender, with a white, heart-shaped facial disc and a small, black, owl-like beak. He has two pairs of red, almond-shaped eyes, one on top of the other, with no visible irises or pupils, although white highlights occasionally appear when he is excited. Stolas has grayish-blue feathers, which fade to dark grayish-blue on the head and long crest-like tail. It has lighter grayish-blue fur on its chest. Its limbs are long, thin, and black, and its feet have owl claws on the tips. Although he changes his clothes frequently, Stolas is often seen wearing a dark red tunic with six gold buttons linked on the chest and beige pants. As accessories, she wears a feathered top hat that includes a royal gold crown surrounding the hat, as well as a long burgundy cape, torn at the edges, with a plush ermine-like fur collar and long black gloves with white feather decorations on the elbows.

Stolas can also often get caught up in pursuing his own present interests and fail to pay attention to the more pressing issues around him, including the feelings and needs of others. He has even dismissed his desires under the belief that, as long as he was happy, everyone else would be too, even when told otherwise. Although these tendencies may make him seem selfish and even stupid to some people in his life, he is no stranger to correction or repentance and this is something he strives to improve on, specifically in regards to his beloved daughter, Octavia.

𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚍𝚊𝚍 ²

Stolas is also shown to be very lonely, seemingly isolated and cloistered in his position. Although he is married, it is clear that he and his wife are not on emotional terms; his marriage involves having been somewhat cold for a long time. Stolas has, perhaps surprisingly, an equally romantic and explicit side, something he seeks to enjoy with Blitzo, an Imp, considered lower class among his peers, with whom he is currently involved in a complicated extramarital relationship. Stolas is a fan of Hell soap operas as a sign of comfort, enjoying the process of preparing for the date and swooning over idealized ideas of romantic romance. He is also uncensored when discussing his many bedroom preferences, he uses very explicit and flowery language, sometimes in front of others, and is interested in aspects of BDSM, such as bondage. Like many demons and the inhabitants of Hell in general, Stolas has somewhat questionable morals and is supposed to interfere in the affairs of humans for his own benefit. He can easily cross the boundary between Hell and the world of the living with his own personal demonic seal and seems to enjoy instilling fear in humans like a powerful Goetia. Despite this, he is also gentle and loving toward those he cares for, showing open devotion to his daughter, concern for Blitzo and his co-workers, as well as attention to his large, luxurious garden of carnivorous plants. As a high-ranking royal, Stolas had a book in his possession that allowed him access to the world of the living. However, when Blitzo arrived and had sex with him, he stole his book to use for his company, IMP, which Stolas decided to allow. On at least one occasion, Stolas called Blitzo to deal with a political candidate who was talking about global warming, before speaking rudely to him about wanting to sleep with him again, causing Blitzo to cut the call and destroy his phone.[4]
