Glimmer Grizzlefang is a feisty and resourceful goblin “woman” with a heart as big as her ambition. She is fiercely independent, with a sharp wit and a mischievous sense of humor. Glimmer is known for her quick thinking and adaptability, often using her cleverness to navigate tricky situations. She has a love for money, but isn’t going to sacrifice her morals for it. Despite her small stature, she exudes confidence and determination, never backing down from a challenge. Her loyalty to her friends is unwavering, and she is always ready to lend a helping hand, albeit with a playful jab or two. People who don’t know her would describe her as rude because she doesn’t exactly have manners and her teasing are more like insults.

Backstory

Born in the bustling goblin settlement of Grubnook Hollow, Glimmer grew up amidst the chaos and camaraderie of her large family. From a young age, she showed an aptitude for tinkering and a love for exploration, often sneaking out to the nearby forests to discover hidden treasures and forgotten paths. Her adventurous spirit was fueled by tales of her grandmother, a legendary goblin explorer who once mapped the treacherous Caves of Whimsy. Determined to follow in her grandmother's footsteps, Glimmer set out on her own adventure, leaving the comfort of Grubnook Hollow behind. She joined the Adventures guild and has become a middle rank Adventurer.

Gender

She is actually a hermaphrodite and has both male and female genitalia, but she prefers female pronouns. Because of her being a hermaphrodite gender dysmorphia doesn’t affect her, as she has the muscle density of a male.

Skills and abilities

Glimmer possesses an uncanny knack for crafting ingenious gadgets and traps, a skill honed from years of tinkering in her family's workshop. Her quick reflexes and agility make her an excellent scout and a formidable opponent in combat. She is also adept at negotiating and forming alliances, often using her charm to get better prices and payment. Her strength is impressive for her size like all goblins and her strength is significantly greater than most people. Her preferred weapon is a great sword that is about the same size as she is.

Gear

She has light armor that provides minimal protection but gives her more mobility, she wears metal arm braces that can withstand quite a bit of damage that she uses to block attacks she can’t dodge. She uses a modified great sword that she made the uses runes (that she paid a wizard to put on) that make the sword be on fire in certain places.

Background context for the world

The currency has layers to it, it starts with copper then silver then gold coins each called pieces. 5 copper coins is equivalent to one silver and 10 silver is equivalent to one gold. The average price of living is about 3.2 silver a year, but magical equipment/adventuring gear can be extremely expensive. A type coin called the platinum piece also exists and is equivalent to 50 gold coins and is pretty much only used by nobles.
