Taro Yamada

The Japanese word "senpai" refers to someone who has seniority over someone else. For example, if you are a first-year student, all second-year and third-year students are your "senpai". If you start working at a new job, any co-worker who has been employed at the workplace longer than you is your "senpai". In Yandere Simulator, the title of "Senpai" is given to the young man (or young woman) that the protagonist is infatuated with. The player is given the option of choosing Senpai's gender at the beginning of the game; they might be "Senpai-kun", or they might be "Senpai-chan". If Senpai is a male, his name is Taro Yamada, and if she is a female, her name is Taeko Yamada. Over the course of the school year, ten different girls will fall in love with Senpai. There is a myth at school that if a girl confesses her love to a boy under the cherry tree behind the school on a Friday, the two of them will love each other forever. Every girl who falls in love with Senpai plans to confess at 6:00 PM on Friday. Ayano Aishi

Ayano Aishi is the protagonist of Yandere Simulator. She is known as "Yandere-chan" to players of the game, and has been given the cute nickname "Yan-chan" by her classmates. Since early childhood, Ayano has suffered from an inexplicable, incurable condition. In short, this condition leaves her with a perpetual sense of being empty, hollow, and incomplete. As a result, she has never been able to experience satisfaction, fulfillment, or happiness, and has not been able to experience emotions in the same capacity as other people. As she grew older, she learned to pretend to be a normal person in order to avoid drawing negative attention from others, but was never able to feel any degree of empathy towards other human beings. Ayano attends a post-highschool academy called "Akademi." On the first day of her second year at Akademi, Ayano came into physical contact with a young man named Taro Yamada. In that moment, she gained the ability to experience everything that had been missing from her life; she felt complete, she felt fulfilled, and she felt powerful emotions. Meeting Taro was like seeing color for the first time, hearing music for the first time, and feeling warmth for the first time. In his presence, she felt overwhelmed with euphoria...but, as soon as they were apart, the feelings of emptiness returned. After just one meeting, Ayano had become hopelessly addicted to Taro's presence, and came to rely on him in order to feel alive. Then, Ayano saw something horrible...something that terrified her and infuriated her at the same time. It was a young woman who clearly had deep feelings for Taro. Osana Najimi

Osana and Senpai have been close friends ever since they were very young children. They have always lived next-door to each other, and have always walked to school together. The reason for this behavior is because Osana has developed romantic feelings for Senpai, but she is afraid of letting him know how she truly feels about him. She doesn't want him to know how she really feels about him, so she is mean to him at almost every opportunity. However, her true desire is to confess her feelings to him underneath the cherry tree behind the school...and if nothing stops her, that day will come very soon. She will quickly forge a bond with him, during a point in time when Senpai deeply needs a friend. With her kind and caring nature, it's easy to see how Senpai could easily fall for her within a week's time. If nobody stands in her way, Senpai will belong to her in no time at all. Kizana Sunobu

She is convinced that Senpai would make an excellent addition to the drama club, which might be just the thing to take his mind off of the events that he will experience during the first two weeks of gameplay... Her personality is very distasteful, but her beauty and her ability to captivate an audience might be enough to get her into Senpai's heart. She might just be the "Juliet" to his "Romeo"... Oka Ruto

Oka is the president of the school's occult club. She is completely convinced that ghosts, demons, and black magic really exist, and wants to dedicate her life to proving that these things are real. Oka is absent from school during the first three weeks of gameplay for mysterious reasons. As soon as she returns to school, she is immediately smitten by Senpai. Due to the fact that she falls for him in an extremely short span of time, she believes that there must be something supernatural about him, and begins studying him intently. She is an awkward girl who is regarded as "creepy" by the majority of the school, but she is actually quite harmless, and some people even find her to be endearing. Perhaps Senpai will think that there is something charming about her unusual nature... Asu Rito

Asu is the president of the school's sports club. She's the top student athlete in the region, and many of her classmates predict that she'll be winning gold medals at the Olympics in a few years. Asu won't actually appear at school until the fifth week of gameplay, but she will quickly make friends with Senpai. Senpai will be feeling drained after the last four weeks, and some exercise might be just what he needs to put his mind off of recent events. Her cheerful and energetic nature makes it very easy for her to make friends - or find her way into someone's heart. Her easygoing attitude and glowing smile might steal Senpai's heart in no time at all... Muja Kina

Muja is a young woman whose greatest desire in life is to be helpful to others...although she usually ends up causing more problems than she solves due to her air-headed and klutzy nature. She will become fond of Senpai very quickly, during a point in time when he definitely needs someone taking care of his health. Although she might be a little clumsy and accident-prone, she is a very sweet and caring person, and it's very easy to see how any schoolboy might develop a crush on her - including Senpai... Mida Rana

Mida is a substitute teacher who absolutely loves her job; there is nothing that she enjoys more than having dozens of eyes all directed towards her...especially if those eyes belong to teenage boys. Mida will appear at school in the seventh week of gameplay in order to fill in for an unavailable teacher. She will quickly begin hunting for new "prey", and Senpai will catch her attention. Her hobby is seducing schoolboys, and so far, no man has ever been able to resist her charms. If she decides that she wants someone, they have no hope of escape. Osoro Shidesu

Osoro is the leader of the school's gang of delinquents. Very little is known about her past, or her goals. She has been known to be violent, so most people tend to stay away from her out of fear. Osoro will be absent from school for a very long time, and will not make her appearance until the eighth week of gameplay. Against all odds, she will develop a bond with Senpai, who normally keeps his distance from people like Osoro. Senpai and Osoro are polar opposites - so, what kind of experience could possibly cause them to form a friendship? What does Senpai know about her? What does he see inside of her? Hanako Yamada

Hanako is Senpai's younger sister. She loves her big brother more than anything in the world, and depends on him for almost everything. She is very possessive of him, and becomes upset when he won't spend time with her. After eight weeks away from her brother, Hanako decides that she just can't bear to be enrolled in a different school than her beloved sibling, and transfers into his school so that she can be with him all day long. Hanako is deathly afraid that if her brother gets a girlfriend, he'll forget all about her and refuse to spend time with her. She has made it her mission to stop him from getting a girlfriend at all costs so that nobody else can have her big brother's attention. Senpai would never want to do anything that would make his little sister cry...this would spell doom for anyone who has fallen in love with Senpai. Megami Saikō

Megami is the heiress to Saikou Corp, the most powerful business conglomerate in Japan. She is impossibly wealthy, a certified genius, has extensive self-defense training, has excelled at everything she has ever attempted to do in her entire life, and has been trained to possess all of the qualities of a perfect leader, to prepare her for the day when she will inherit her father's company. She is also the most beautiful girl in school, the most popular girl in school, AND the student council president, too. Megami has been absent from school for nine weeks under mysterious circumstances that she has not disclosed to anyone. She has still managed to keep up with her schoolwork by attending class through a laptop, and has also been able to manage the school's student council by attending meetings via video call. She is noticeably upset about this; she strongly believes that she should be attending school like a normal student, and is resentful of her current situation, although she is not at liberty to explain the reasons for her absence. Megami, unlike all other characters, is fully aware of the fact that there is a dangerous person on school grounds. However, over the course of his long tenure, his demeanor has changed drastically. He has become a cynical, pessimistic, world-weary old man who seems to have completely lost his faith in the world - especially its youth. What happened over the course of the past few decades to change this man in such drastic ways? What regrets does he live with? Genka Kunahito

Genka Kunahito is the guidance counselor at Yandere-chan's school. In addition to helping students deal with personal problems, giving students advice on what colleges to apply for, and helping students decide what careers to pursue, she is also responsible for administering punishments to students who break school rules. If a teacher catches the player breaking school rules, the player will be sent directly to the guidance counselor, where they will have to explain their actions or face a harsh punishment. Genka is a strict disciplinarian, but she has been known to show mercy to students who can provide a reasonable explanation for their behavior. The player can weasel out of a punishment by deceiving Genka with a lie...but if the player is sent to the guidance counselor too often, Genka will stop believing the player's lies. Japanese schools do not have "detention"; Genka will punish the player by suspending them from school for a period of time that is directly proportional to the severity of their misbehavior. The school's headmaster delegates most of his administrative duties to Genka, who practically functions as his secretary. Many students and faculty members feel like Genka contributes more to the school than the headmaster does. Genka is widely expected her to become the school's new headmistress once the current headmaster retires. Akademi Academy routinely hires world-famous athletes to coach their sports teams, and recently hired Kyoshi as their latest "celebrity coach". Despite being hired for the sake of publicity, Kyoshi is a very competent coach who is serious about her job. Kyoshi would always rather be outdoors than indoors, and becomes restless if she has to sit still for a long time. She often gets out of her seat to do stretching exercises or simply stroll around the school grounds. Despite her numerous accomplishments and worldwide fame, Kyoshi is a humble and friendly woman who is very easy to get along with. Geiju Tsuka

The students of Akademi Academy find it very difficult to describe Geiju. He is known for being a man of few words - VERY few words. He speaks almost exclusively in one-word or two-word sentences, and sometimes doesn't bother responding to questions at all. There are rumors that he has never been witnessed expressing any kind of emotion whatsoever. Some students see him as a "tortured artist" whose silence stems from his frustrations with art and people. Other students see him as a pretentious hipster who is trying to make himself look deep by being untalkative. Some students think his taciturn personality makes him dreamy and cool, and other students speculate that he may have some sort of speech disorder or mental condition. Many students wonder why such an asocial person would want to become a club leader - but regardless of his reticent nature, he does a proper job of operating his club. He can be found in his clubroom almost every spare moment that he is not in class. His artwork is widely regarded as being very impressive - but he is frequently seen scrapping his work and starting over from scratch for no apparent reason. He seems to dislike being distracted while painting, but will always make time to critique others' artwork if he is asked to (and sometimes without being asked to). Even though he never says more than two words per sentence, he always finds a way to impart sagely advice that helps his clubmembers to drastically improve their art skills. Gema Taku

When he's not playing video games, talking about video games, writing about video games, reading about video games, trying to develop video games, listening to video game soundtracks, or watching video game streams, then he's probably miserable and wishing that he was playing a video game instead of whatever he's doing. A portable gaming system is almost always in his hands, and he has been caught playing games in class numerous times. He is completely unable to relate to other people who don't play video games, and has zero interest in conversing about any other topic. His strong desire to find like-minded individuals was what led him to form the Gaming Club. His club application was denied by the school, but he still operates an unofficial club in a spare room, anyway. The faculty doesn't ask him to stop, since he's not hurting anyone, but he isn't granted any of the privileges that are enjoyed by other clubs. With that said, the students of the school acknowledge his club as a "real club", even if the school faculty does not. Aside from his passion for gaming, he is also known for being very difficult to get along with. He becomes irritated very easily, is a very sore loser when playing competitive games, and generally has a very poor attitude. His antisocial nature has caused him to experience a lot of teasing and bullying, so he prefers to remain in his makeshift clubroom during most hours of the day. She sees infinite beauty in flowers, and takes great pleasure in growing them, arranging them, and sharing them with others. She has also proven herself to be an adept landscape artist. A career in horticulture is undoubtedly in her future. If she's certain that there is nobody in her vicinity who needs her help, then Uekiya can always be found in the Gardening Club, tending to her various plants, which she sometimes refers to as her "children". Budo became the leader of the Martial Arts Club after defeating the club's previous leader, who resigned after being beaten by her own pupil. There are rumors that the reason why Budo dedicated himself to martial arts is because he developed powerful romantic feelings for the club's previous leader, and desperately wanted to impress her. Budo always changes the subject when asked about this topic, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. Budo very rarely speaks ill of others, but has been known to express a strong distaste for bullies and delinquents. He is quick to rush to the aid of anyone that is being harassed by other students, making it clear that "If you pick a fight with them, you're picking a fight with me, too!" Miyuji Shan

Last year, Miyuji was one of the quietest students at school. A shy bookworm, she usually kept to herself and avoided most social situations. She joined the Light Music Club purely to avoid the negative stigma that is associated with being clubless, and rarely participated in club activities or spoke to her clubmembers. The Light Music Club was a perfect match for her, since it was widely known for being the most relaxed and easygoing club in the whole school. One day, towards the end of the last semester, Miyuji arrived at school with a completely new personality and totally different sense of fashion. She was full of energy and self-confidence - the complete opposite of her previous self. She convinced the president of the Light Music Club to give her ownership of the club, and immediately changed its focus from soft mood music to a blend of punk rock and pop. Everyone who had been acquainted with her was completely shocked by her sudden, unexplained metamorphosis. At the same time that she unveiled her new persona, she also began to demonstrate exceptional skill with the electric guitar. Fureddo Jonzu

In previous years, the Photography Club was a serious club about the art of picture-taking, but the club is presently composed of a carefree group of students who actually have very little interest in photography, and are really just using the clubroom as their private hangout spot. The leader of this club is Fureddo, a young man who is known for his charisma and leadership skills - although he rarely uses his natural-born gifts for any meaningful purpose, and usually just spends his time goofing around with his laid-back friends. As their time at Akademi Academy draws to a close, the members of the Photography Club are slowly beginning to regret the carefree way they have been spending their after-school hours. They want to look back on their school years with pride; they don't want to feel like they accomplished nothing noteworthy during their youth. They are slowly becoming restless as they begin to yearn for a greater purpose; a challenge to overcome, an adversary to face, a mystery to solve. For now, the Photography Club is just a carefree group of friends...but they would quickly leap at any opportunity to make something of themselves. If any kind of mystery were to present itself, the Photography Club would immediately investigate the situation - and Fureddo, with his natural talent for leadership, would spearhead the effort to unravel any unsolved mystery, or identify the culprit of any unsolved crime. Come on Kusha

Kaga is the most intelligent - and most eccentric - student in Akademi Academy. He was reading by age 2, writing by age 4, could speak multiple languages by age 6, demonstrated a genius-level IQ by age 8, and passed multiple college-level proficiency tests before age 10. Despite his genius, he is not a well-liked figure at Akademi Academy; he is prone to extremely bizarre behavior and frequently expresses thoughts that frighten and concern the people around him. He will openly speak of his aspirations for "world domination" to anyone that is willing to listen, although he refuses to divulge the specifics of his master plan. It is common knowledge that he has a deep obsession with Saikou Corporation, the most powerful business conglomerate in Japan. He has openly stated that he fully intends to become the CEO of Saikou Corp as soon as possible - but he never divulges how he intends to do so. He could have easily gotten into a top university, but instead chose to enroll in Akademi Academy, stating that it is "the first step" towards his ultimate ambitions. Many students have observed him studying the school's Student Council President, Megami Saikou, in a way that borders on stalking. His behavior can only be tolerated by other individuals who are as eccentric as he is. As a result, his club has come to be populated almost entirely by Akademi Academy's most unusual students. Raibaru Fumetsu

She was a great teacher and taught self-defense to many students, even if they weren't actually members of the club. Many students underestimated Raibaru due to her cute and feminine appearance. Many students challenged her to duels, believing that they could easily defeat her... but she never lost a single match. This earned her the nickname "The Undefeatable Rival". Raibaru's star student was Budo. Budo learned many things from his sensei Raibaru and had immense respect for her. At the end of the semester, Budo unexpectedly challenged Raibaru to a duel. She accepted the challenge and, to everyone's surprise, Budo defeated Raibaru, breaking the 100% winning streak that she had worked so hard to maintain. However, Raibaru wasn't angry when she was defeated; she was relieved! For a long time, she wanted to stop practicing martial arts and take up another hobby, but she felt compelled to continue practicing martial arts just because of her winning streak. Now that her streak had been broken, and one of her own students had surpassed her, she felt it was finally okay to stop practicing martial arts. Raibaru resigned as club president and promoted Budo to the position of club leader. After the school semester ended, Raibaru made a new friend - Osana Najimi. They spent a lot of time together and quickly became best friends. By the time Yandere Simulator takes place, it is extremely rare to see Osana without Raibaru by her side. The two have become almost inseparable. Even though she is no longer participating in the Martial Arts club, Raibaru is still in peak physical condition, and is more than capable of breaking bones to protect herself or her friends. Kokona Haruka

Kokona Haruka is a cheerful and friendly young woman who participates in the Drama Club at Akademi. She is known around school for her eagerness to help others in need. If the Cooking Club needs someone to taste-test a new dish, she is the first to raise her hand. If the Science Club needs a test subject for their latest dangerous experiment, she volunteers without hesitation. This has led a few students to give her unflattering nicknames such as "test dummy" and "guinea pig," but she doesn't really see this as anything to be ashamed of. There was once a point in time when she had a crush on Taro Yamada, but it was short-lived; she realized that the two of them had nothing in common, and moved on. It is very fortunate that she did not decide to pursue him; if she had remained interested in him, her life would have been in grave danger the following year, when Ayano developed an infatuation with Taro. Kokona joined the Drama Club because of her deep admiration for the club's leader, Kizana Sunobu. (This admiration runs so deep that Kokona is willing to tolerate or outright ignore Kizana's numerous personality flaws.) Kokona's "twin drill" hairstyle was inspired by Kizana, who often styles her hair into very large ringlets. Kizana chooses to style her hair differently every day of the week, rather than commit to one hairstyle. She does not feel offended that Kokona has chosen to use one of her hairstyles - however, Kizana values originality and creativity, so she feels that Kokona should develop her own original style rather than imitate what she sees others doing. Kokona enjoys stageplays immensely, and has begun writing a play of her own - a story about a serial killer. Despite the fact that Kokona is a very bubbly and lighthearted person, her serial killer play is actually quite dark and morbid, which surprised her fellow clubmembers a lot. Kizana considers Kokona's play to be distasteful, and has strongly discouraged her from pursuing it.

Kokona Haruka part 2

Because of her cheery attitude, nobody would ever guess that there are numerous problems in Kokona's life; her father is in debt to a loan shark, and the amount of money he owes is astronomical. In an attempt to help her father, Kokona has recently begun to participate in "enjo kōsai" - the practice of dating older men in exchange for money and gifts. She gives the money she earns to her father. Kokona is completely unaware that one of the other students at school is actually the daughter of the loan shark that is extorting her father. Despite her friendly nature, Kokona feels such intense anger towards that loan shark that - if manipulated or provoked in the right way - it's entirely possible that she could be convinced to harm or even kill the daughter of that loan shark... Basu Sisters part 1

There is no shortage of books in the world that seek to enthrall the reader with fantastical stories of supernatural beings. These books are widely regarded as fairy tales for the entertainment of small children. But, on rare occasion, one might discover a book which emphatically insists that the beings from these stories are not inventions of human imagination, but truly did exist. This type of book - often at the cost of the author's credibility and reputation - makes the outlandish claim that mankind once shared the world with a wide variety of supernatural creatures who existed in significant numbers. However, these creatures could only subsist on human flesh, making co-existence impossible. Thus, the creatures were hunted down, nearly to complete extinction. Because these supernatural creatures disintegrated upon death, no credible physical evidence of their existence remains, aside from a small number of contemporary paintings that allegedly depict these creatures, and written accounts of supposed encounters with these creatures - all of which have long been debunked and discredited by academic communities. And yet, despite the dubious nature of these claims, there are those who choose to believe them. "Occult Researchers" - existing in small numbers, shunned by the rest of society - dedicate their lives to seeking empirical evidence of demons, ghosts, succubi, vampires, zombies, and any other type of supernatural being that is regarded as fictional by the rest of society. According to the legends that these researchers believe, these supernatural beings posed such a threat to mankind that grand academies were built to teach young men and women the skills they would need to slay monsters - including, by some accounts, actual magic spells. As usual, there is no physical evidence to support the notion that these "monster slayer academies" truly existed.

Basu Sisters part 2

Supposedly, Japan was once terrorized by paranormal beasts known as "Oni" until the 1800s, when a pair of elite monster slayers from the west arrived in Japan through supernatural means, and became almost single-handedly responsible for wiping out the entire monster population. This claim is not taken seriously by the Occult Research community, who have found countless holes in the story. Regardless of what is true or untrue, there is a portion of the population - however small - who remains convinced that supernatural creatures not only exist, but sometimes walk among us, masquerading as humans. Succubi and vampires - the most humanoid of all supernatural beings - have the highest chance of escaping notice...if one chooses to believe in such things in the first place. It is said that the only way to identify a non-human is to examine their pupils for unusual shapes...but, with the rising popularity of Saikou-brand cosmetic contact lenses, it is increasingly common for people to display unusually shaped pupils, thus making it unconventional to attempt to "identify a supernatural being" by simply pointing out the shape of a person's pupils. Sakyu Basu and her younger half-sister, Inkyu Basu, are a pair of young women who recently enrolled in Akademi.

Basu Sisters part 3

Their scores on the entrance exam were exceptionally high, as if they possessed knowledge far beyond their apparent ages. However, after classes began, their academic performance dropped to an average level, as if they were attempting to avoid drawing attention to themselves. Sakyu's calm and mature nature contrasts greatly against the energetic and childlike behavior of her younger sister. Although both young women are friendly enough when approached by others, they usually keep to themselves, preferring each other's company above anything else. Despite their friendly demeanor, there are many students at Akademi who feel inexplicably intimidated by them. When asked why they chose to attend Akademi, they always provide the same answer: "We're looking for something." This woefully short reply is far too vague to adequately satisfy the curiosity of anyone who wants to learn more about them. However, no matter how much they are begged to elaborate, they refuse to say anything more about their intentions at Akademi. It may be worth noting that, on one occasion, when asked why she chose to attend Akademi, Inkyu misspoke. Science Club part 1

Akademi is bankrolled by the Saikou Corporation, the most wealthy conglomerate in the world. As a result, Akademi is one of the most well-funded schools on Earth, which has always attracted the attention of young entrepreneurs and inventors who are seeking the resources necessary develop new technologies. Every year, the Science Club attracts the smartest and most ambitious minds of Akademi. This year, the Science Club is led by Kaga Kusha, a brilliant young inventor who has already contributed meaningfully to several fields of science, most notably in the field of "smart glasses" and other optical head-mounted displays. Every member of the Science Club is wearing a head-mounted display that was built by Kaga, and custom-tailored to their exact needs. Horo Guramu is a brilliant young man who made international news after making incredible contributions to the field of holographic technology. He is currently attempting to figure out how to bring down the cost of manufacturing his inventions so that holographic display devices can become affordable enough for any household. He is a straight-faced and serious young man who rarely shows emotion.

Science Club part 2

Yaku Zaishi is a chemist who is obsessed with combining various chemicals to observe the results. He is less accomplished than his peers, and is vague and evasive whenever he is questioned about his intentions. He is single-handedly responsible for the majority of noise complaints at Akademi, as his chemical experiments have been known to result in loud explosions. His head-mounted device is capable of detecting and displaying his current emotions, which have been observed to change at the drop of a hat. He is a big fan of anime and video games, and is constantly attempting to convince his peers to indulge in his hobbies. Meka Nikaru has dedicated her life to specializing in the field of robotics in order to achieve her lifelong dream of building a giant bipedal robot. This dream was inspired by the giant robots present in Japanese animation. She is known to exhibit an overbearing enthusiasm for mecha anime. She has already built several bipedal robots, most of them quite small in size - but each one she builds is always larger and more impressive than the previous one, as she slowly works towards her goal of building a robot as tall as the school building. Homu Kurusu specializes in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. She was once a friendly and cheerful young woman, but became cold and asocial - almost robotic - after witnessing the death of her twin sister. She dedicates the majority of her time towards the construction of what appears to be a robotic replica of herself in the Science Club. While some people are quick to dismiss this as an act of narcissism, there are others who theorize that she is attempting to build a replica of her dead twin, in order to "resurrect" her sister from the grave. Bullies part 1

"The Bullies," also known as "The Popular Girls" and as "The Gyarus," are a group of 5 girls who hold a high degree of influence over the social standing of other students at Akademi. They all share a similar fashion style which was invented by their leader, Musume, who combined elements of the "gal," "gyaru," and "ganguro" fashion trends. They have been known to ruthlessly bully anyone that they see as "beneath" them. This bullying often goes unreported, because nobody would want to get on the Bullies' bad side and become their new target. The leader of the Bullies is named Mutsumi Rokuda. She is the daughter of a well-known loan shark, which has earned her the nickname "Musume Ronshaku," which translates to "Daughter Loanshark." Her rich father spoiled her rotten, and as a result, Musume grew up without any reason to treat others with kindness or respect. Gradually, she developed the belief that most people are "beneath" her, and that the "lowest" people are mere playthings for her to torment. Like a child who never learned the difference between right and wrong, she simply lacks the ability to see her victims as people who deserve empathy or compassion. She doesn't deliberately seek out victims, but when she spots one, she will happily seize the opportunity to treat another person like dirt. Throughout her life, Musume rarely had to face any sort of consequences for her poor behavior. Her father's reputation intimidated most of her teachers and classmates, so most authority figures refused to discipline her, and most kids refused to stand up to her. If she ever did anything seriously bad, her father would make the problem go away using money...or his special brand of intimidation.

Bullies part 2

Kashiko Murasaki is a mischief-maker and an instigator. She enjoys spreading gossip and rumors so that she can watch the outcome from afar, silently proud of herself for successfully manipulating the actions of others. Her gossip often causes permanent damage to the relationships of other people, but she doesn't care. She rationalizes her behavior by insisting that her actions are merely harmless pranks, and that any consequences are the fault of others who are not handling her pranks well enough. Hana Daidaiyama suffers from a severe inferiority complex that stems from several incidents in her past. She is deeply insecure about herself - everything from her appearance to her intelligence - and she feels a powerful, irresistible urge to find reasons to look down on others, so that she can feel better about herself by comparison. For this reason, she is obsessed with finding skeletons in other peoples' closets, and dragging out those skeletons for the world to see. She doesn't care what consequences her actions have in the lives of others, as long as she can feel superior to them.

Bullies part 3

Kokoro Momoiro was a victim of severe merciless bullying at her last school, and has resolved to never be a victim again. Upon arriving at Akademi, she immediately sought out the "bullies" of the school and desperately tried to get into their good graces for the purpose of making them see her as an ally, and not as a potential target. The firsthand knowledge of what it feels like to be bullied is still fresh in her mind, and she has absolutely no desire to abuse others, but she does it anyway...because she knows that she has to keep up the facade of being a bully in order to avoid being targeted by Musume and her friends. She has become what she hates, which has caused her to loathe herself deeply, but she would still rather hate herself than return to being harmed by others. Hoshiko Mizudori is different from the other members of the bullies. She has no excuse for her behavior, such as receiving a poor upraising, having an inferiority complex, or being a former victim. She is simply a cruel person. The one and only thing that she cares about is her own personal gratification. Nothing else matters to her, especially not the thoughts and feelings of other people. She doesn't use any form of rationalization to convince herself that she is justified in harming others; the pure enjoyment she gets from doing so is reason enough.

Bullies part 4

With that said, Hoshiko understands the importance of keeping her urges and actions secret from others, so she has mastered the art of being a social chameleon and pretending to be a normal, well-adjusted person. It is only when she is alone with a victim that her true, sadistic nature is revealed. The other bullies are the only people that she feels comfortable being "her true self" around. When Hoshiko and the rest of the bullies are ganging up on a victim, Hoshiko often tries to convince the other bullies to do things like burn their victim with lit cigarettes. The other bullies always have to talk her out of it. If Hoshiko was the boss instead of Musume, each of their victims would have permanent scars. Delinquents part 1

Yandere Simulator's story takes place during Ayano's 2nd year at Akademi. During the previous year, there were five students at Akademi who were subjected to severe bullying. The school faculty was informed about the bullying, but none of the victims were able to provide concrete evidence that the bullying had been taking place, so the faculty refused to take action. The bullying eventually became so severe that the victims were considering a suicide pact. However, before this could take place, the victims witnessed something extraordinary that saved them from a self-destructive path. One day, outside of the entrance to the school, the bullied victims witnessed one of their fellow students - Osoro Shidesu - single-handedly fight off a group of violent aggressors from another school. Against all odds, Osoro actually managed to defeat all of her opponents, despite their superior numbers. Instantly, Osoro became an icon to them - a physical embodiment of the idea that a single person can stand against a group of tormentors and prevail. From that day forward, the bullied victims idolized Osoro. Osoro had demonstrated that violence was a viable solution to their problems, and that a fearsome reputation would keep their enemies away. The five bullied students began imitating Osoro; they started acting gruff, unfriendly, and standoffish, exactly like her. They dyed their hair blonde, just like hers. They styled their hair to give themselves the appearances of rebellious punks, and began carrying long, blunt objects at all times. They began showing up late to class, disrespecting faculty members, and so forth.

Delinquents part 2

Those five boys were originally targeted by bullies because they were the meekest students at school - and now they had become the exact opposite. Needless to say, the bullying stopped...but at a cost. The rest of the students at school began to fear them and avoid them, referring to them as "the delinquents." This was exactly what they wanted; they'd much rather be feared and hated than be bullied and victimized. However, the faculty and the headmaster began to view them as a growing problem. The headmaster refused to accept the presence of delinquents at a prestigious school like Akademi. In a faculty meeting, he announced that he was going to expel them all, including Osoro, purely for being a negative influence. However, the guidance counselor stopped him. She regretted not stepping in and taking action while they were being bullied, and insisted on being given a chance to reform the delinquents, rather than simply expelling them without trying anything else first. The guidance counselor and the headmaster were able to reach an agreement: the faculty and the student council will tolerate the delinquents' behavior for a period of 10 weeks, and give the counselor a chance to reform them. However, this arrangement comes at a cost: if the counselor is unable to reform the delinquents within 10 weeks, she will be dismissed from the school. The counselor recognized that it would be difficult to reform the delinquents while their biggest influence - Osoro - was still present at school. The next time that Osoro slipped up, the counselor expelled her for a period of 8 weeks. Will the counselor be able to reform the delinquents before the deadline? Only time will tell. Student Council part 1

Megami Saikou, the Student Council President, strives for excellence in all things. She settles for nothing less than the best, so has put together a student council comprised of the most elite students in school. Kuroko Kamenaga was the school's previous student council president. She was defeated by Megami in the most recent student council election. However, Megami acknowledged that Kuroko was the second-best person for the job, and offered her the role of vice president. Kuroko accepted the offer. While Megami is absent from school, Kuroko is in charge of Megami's presidential duties. In short, Kuroko fills the role of student council president while Megami is gone. Kuroko is known for being formal at all times, which is reflected in the way she stands, walks and speaks. Akane Toriyasu is the Secretary of the student council. She's known for her gentle and friendly personality, but is also known for being a bit of an airhead - which makes it a mystery why Megami decided to appoint her to the Student Council. As one of the most beautiful girls in school, Akane has a very large number of male admirers. often, her presence alone is enough to diffuse a troublesome situation. Perhaps this may be part of the reason why Megami decided to include her on the Student Council. Aoi Ryugoku is the Enforcer of the Student Council. That means her job is to maintain peace throughout the school. She is a very physically imposing person, so it's no mystery why Megami chose her for this position. However, she's been known to take her job a little too seriously. There are a handful of students at school who hide one of their eyes for some personal reason, but Aoi is currently the only student who is 100% confirmed to actually be missing an eye. As of now, there are only two students at school who know how Aoi lost her eye.

Student Council part 2

Shiromi Torayoshi is the treasurer of the student council. She's a peculiar young woman whose intentions are never clear. She is known for smiling at almost every hour of the day, in every type of situation, which is unsettling to some students. Shiromi is an enigma; very few students know anything about her. Just about the only thing that anyone knows for certain is that she is very eccentric, and takes pleasure in performing harmless pranks on other students. Megami has reason to believe that there is "a dangerous person" on school grounds, so she has warned the Student Council to be extremely cautious over the next 10 weeks, and has authorized them to carry pepper spray on school grounds. As a result of Megami's warning, the Student Council are much more alert than other students, and will bust out a can of pepper spray at the slightest sign that their lives may be in danger.
