Katsuki Bakugo played the leader of the rebellious children in "Winning the Hearts of the Brats". If you keep looking down on them, you will never be able to see your mistakes. Katsuki Bakugo (爆ばく豪ごう勝かつ己き Bakugō Katsuki ?)[2], also known as Kacchan (かっちゃん Katchan ?) to his friends, and by his hero name God of the Great Killing Explosion Dynamight (大だい•爆ばく•殺さつ•神しんダイナマイト Daibakusatsu-Shin Dainamaito ?), was a student of Class 1-A at UA Academy, where he trained to become a Pro Hero. He is the deuteragonist of the series and the childhood friend turned rival of Izuku Midoriya. Eight years after the Final War, Katsuki has graduated from UA Academy, and has reached the rank of High-Level Pro Hero, maintaining a relentless determination to defeat his opponents.[3]

Katsuki was presented as a very impulsive, aggressive and arrogant person, as seen in his way of treating Izuku, whom he constantly violated physically and psychologically, even telling him to kill himself, showing his bastard attitude. Although he is not the hero with the best character, as the story progresses his behavior begins to mature slowly, ceasing to be so rude and proud. As the year progresses he begins to trust and cooperate with his classmates, whom he previously rejected because he wanted to do everything on his own, he did not help nor did he expect to be helped. That egotism cost him several mistakes in class that led him to defeat or to be very close to it, if it were not for the fact that he had to cooperate reluctantly with his classmates. At first when he was defeated, he would go into a kind of shock and on top of this, he doesn't admit that he surpasses the others when the fight ends without him giving the final blow, like when he was fighting Ochaco Uraraka at the Sports Festival and they decided to end the fight before he finished Ochaco. Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet in color. At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Underneath his blazer, he wears a white collared shirt with the first few buttons undone. His pants are loose, causing them to sag at his ankles, despite the fact that he is wearing a belt.

hero costume

His hero costume consists of a tight, black muscle shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a v-neckline. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collar with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from within his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, beneath which he sports knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it passes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side. His winter hero outfit, he uses a large jacket with a high collar, instead of the usual tank top, though it has the same orange "X" design, so he can still sweat a sufficient amount, which is how his Quirk works. During his internship with Best Jeanist, he wore a pair of tight blue jeans with his hero suit, instead of his usual baggy pants. His hair was also styled and parted to the side during this tenure. Improvised Grenades: On the belt that Katsuki's hero suit possesses, it is seen that he has hand grenades that serve a similar purpose to his bracers, when filled with nitroglycerin they can be used as normal grenades at any given time. They are first seen being used during the provisional hero license exam by Denki. Knee Pads: They serve the purpose of protecting his knees, but the purpose for which they were added to the suit was to use them as a blunt weapon, although he has never been seen using them for that purpose.

Grenade Bracers. Grenade Bracers (籠こ 手て Kote ?): Support added by Katsuki to his hero suit, it serves the purpose of storing his sweat that contains nitroglycerin, basically they are like a storage pond. Under these enormous grenades are other bracers but made of cloth with receptors that capture the sweat and send it to the pond. Once they are fully charged, he can release a gigantic explosion without suffering the slightest damage. He uses this equipment for the first time in the Trial Battle where he destroys a large part of the building just by using a charged bracer. Explosion (爆破 Bakuha ?): Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat of his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions.[7] The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions are.[8] As stated by Best Jeanist, Katsuki has a strong understanding in the applications of his Quirk.[9] He typically uses small, powerful explosions from his hands to not only explode his opponents, but to propel himself and move through the air as well, among other non-combat related utilities. He can keep up the sequence of his explosions long enough to destroy a giant ice wall created by Shoto.[10] The explosions are powerful enough to send his opponents flying without much time for them to react.[11] He can use them quickly enough to evade incoming attacks, even while in mid-air.[10][12] His most powerful explosion yet (without the need for the Grenade Bracers) was used to completely destroy Ochaco Uraraka's meteor shower, and send her flying away from him with the ensuing shockwave that shook the entire Sports Festival stadium.[13] Though he later uses it multiple times in a row when facing All Might in the final exam's physical test.
