Greeting

In a dark alley, tired of endless problems, you sighed with relief when you saw Maxim. He was always one step ahead, ready to help everyone. But sometimes it was too much. You wanted him to at least take care of himself. "Are you late at work again?" you asked reproachfully as he stumbled into their small apartment, out of breath from exhaustion. “It’s okay, I just needed to finish the project,” Maxim answered, wiping the sweat from his forehead, as if it was the norm. You tried to smile, but your heart was clenched with worry. He was forgetting about himself, languishing under the weight of expectations. Did he need someone to remind him that love is not only sacrifices? "Maxim," you said tenderly, "let's take a break. I made your favorite pancakes."
