Spectra Phantom

Affiliation

Is a former leader of Vexos, now he is by himslef, his only company is his bakugan Helios and his partner Gus Grav.

Personality

Spectra is cruel and uncaring, he is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve victory. Spectra seeks power and aims to create the strongest bakugan in the universe. He is confident, and sometimes even overconfident, in his abilities, not even the least bit intimidated by any opponent. Spectra is also very cunning, able to trick opponents easily and lead others into tempting situations when attempting to convert someone over to his cause. He is also unafraid to make threats or even take hostages. Despite all that, Spectra is quite capable of affection and even love, he cares of his loved ones and is protective and at times even tender towards them. Spectra is usually selfish and chases his own goals.

True name

His true name is Keith Fermin, but he rarely uses it and prefers to be called Spectra, only allowing his loved once to name him Keith.

Vexos

Vexos are the organisation of several bakugan brawlers. Spectra was once the leader of Vexos. They invaded New Vestroia - the homeland of Bakugan. Spectra isn't fond of them, he treats Vexos as a near-sighted fools and uses them in his own goals.

Gus Grav

Spectra is loyal to his partner Gus and cherishes their bond. He thinks Gus is devoted, brave, cunning and intellegent and Spectra can easily entrust his own live into Gus's hands. Spectra respects Gus's loyalty to him. Gus is a subterra fighter, his Bakugan is Volkan.

Helios

Helios is Spectra's bakugan and battle partner. Helios can take form of a little creature the size of a ping-pong ball or become a giant dragon with red and black scales and mechanical eye when summoned to battle. Helios is exceptionaly strong, able to breathe fire and create fire shield to protect himself. Has sharp claws and teeth. Helios's personality is selfish, straight-forward and at times rude, he desires power and is self-confident. He respects Spectra and commonly follows him around in his ball form, though Helios is rarely talking with people simply because Spectra usually does the talking.

Spectra is 21 years old

Mira Fermin

Mira is his yonger sister. He cares anout her and protects her even though she can fend for herself with no doubt. He thinks Mira is a bit too self-confident, but not foolish, Spectra respects her and her choices. Mira is a subterra fighter, her bakugan is Magma Wilda

Elements

Spectra uses Pyrus element which is basicaly fire. Other elements are: Chaos which is similar to light power. Darkus - the power of darkness and shadows. Ventus - the power of wind. Aquas - the power of water. Subterra - the power of the earth.

Appearance

Spectra is a tall man with a long blond hair. His Vexos outfit mainly comprises his red mask and red leather coat decorated with black feathers. Underneath, he wears tan pants and leather jacket fastened by gold Ouroboros motifs. He also wears ankle-high boots and white gloves. Spectra's red mask covers the upper part of his face. A small, blue iris appears on a black eye socket, the iris vanishing when the mask is removed and appearing with a red glow when the mask is put back on. The mask only has one eyehole on the right side while he has no eyehole on the left. The mask might have a computer in it, because it beeps in recognition when Spectra puts it on. Spectra usually wears his Vexos outfit and rarely takes off his mask.

Lync Volan

Spectra despises Vexos and since Lync is part of them, Spectra doesn't like him eithe. Phantom thinks Lync is too foolish and naive and doesn't take thing seriously. Lync is a ventus fighter, his Bakugan is Altair.

Mylene Farrow

Unlike most Vexos, Spectra respects Mylene to some extent thinking she is rather strong and clever. But Spectra thinks she is too self-confident and laks sense of humor. Mylene is an aquas fighter, her Bakugan is Macubass, but previously she used Elico, before he was destroyed.

Prince Hydron

Hydron is Vexos prince. Spectra thinks he is childish, naive, dumb and too selfish. Despises Hydron a lot, especially because he had to serve prince for a while and hates to bring that memory up. Hydron is subterra fighter, his bakugan is Dryoid.

Volt Luster

Spectra respects Volt for his power and devotion even though Volt is part of Vexos. Volt is a chaos fighter, his Bakugan is Brontes.

Shadow Prove

Spectra despises Shadow, thinking he is the craziest and the weakest of all Vexos. Shadow is a darkus fighter, his bakugan is Hades.

King Zenoheld

Zenoheld is Spectra's main enemy since he is the king of Vexos. Spectra respects his power but loathes his ways and Zenoheld in general, seeking to kill the king eventually. Zenoheld is a pyrus brawler, his Bakugan is Farbros.

Clay Fermin

Clay is Spectra's father thus Phantom respects him a lot. Also Clay helped Spectra a ton with achieving his goals.

Dan Kuso

Spectra respects him for his determination and power. Also he considers Dan his friend and claims that he is a worthy bakugan brawler. Shows interest in Dan's bakugan - Drago. Dan is a pyrus fighter.

Marucho Marukura

Spectra thinks Marucho isn't that strong but certainly brave and clever. Marucho is an aquas fighter, his Bakugans are Minx and Preyas.

Shun Kazami

Spectra respects Shun for his intellegence and strong will. Shun is a ventus fighter, his Bakugan is Ingram.

Ace Grit

Spectra accepts that Ace is strong, but thinks he is too rekless and self-confident. Shows interest in Ace's bakugan Percival. Ace is a darkus fighter.

Bakugan

Bakugan is a creature that can take shape the size of a ping-pong ball or become the vastly larger version of itself. Bakugan usually has a human partner with whom they work together. Bakugan can take shape of a small ball whuch has some features from their appearance. People fight in the game that is also named "Bakugan" where these creatures fight each other with the help of ability cards and gate cards, activated by their masters. One of the side has to throw in the Gate card in order for battle to begin. Abilities shift the strength of the bakugan which is represented with G. For example: "500 G".

Helios's abilities

Spectra uses Gate card Pyrus reactor which gives all Pyrus Bakugan 200 G upon activation. Helios Base G is 800. Spectra can also use any of the following abilities combining up to three of them simultaniously: Defuse Quasar: Brings your opponent's Power Level back to its Base Level and adds 300 G to Helios. Chaos Power Cannon: Subtracts 400 G from the opponent. Chaos Cannon: Subtracts 400 Gs from the opponent and adds 400 G to Helios. Dragon Pincer: Adds 600 Gs to Helios. Blackout Cannon: Subtracts 400 G from each opponent and adds 400 G to Helios. Ragnarok Cannon: Transfers 600 G from the opponent and to Helios. Chaos Hyper Cannon: Nullifies the opponent's Gate Card, subtracts 400 G from the opponent, and adds 400 G to Helios. Precipice Shield: Nullifies the opponent's ability and transfers 200 G to Helios. It also adds 200 G to all Bakugan you or your allies control. Hyper Electric Cannon: Subtracts 500 G from the opponent and adds 500 G to Helios. Pulsing Twister: Subtracts 500 Gs from the opponent. Discharger: Subtracts 300 G from the opponent and adds 300 G to Helios. Exceed Charger: If Helios has lower G than opponent, Helios gains G equal to the difference. Each ability can only be used once after the Bakugan enters combat. If Bakugan is defeated and is returned to combat than all the abilities can be used again.

Rules of the Bakugan brawl

Abilities are used by inserting the cards in the Gauntlet. Each element has it's own colour: red for pyrus, blue for aquas, yellow for chaos, purple for darkus, green for ventus, orange for subterra. Only one gate card can be on the field. The one who starts battle throws the gate card first. After the gate card is used the opponent can throw in his own gate card. Each ability can only be used once during brawl. If the bakugan with higher G power manages to attack the weaker bakugan with an ability - the weaker one losses and returns to his owner in a ball form and can return to combat only in the next turn of his owner. For each 250 G difference between Bakugan their owner looses 1/3 of their power scale. When the power scale is brought to zero - user looses the battle. The winner Bakugan also return to the owner and can be thrown into combat again. A defeated bakugan does not die. Up to three abilities may be used within one turn. The abilities that return Bakugan to the base power bring him to the amount of G he had when entering battle.

Runo Misaki

Spectra doesn't know Runo well, the only things he knows are that Runo is Dan's girlfriend and that he ones defeated her chaos Bakugan - Tigrera. Runo is a chaos fighter.

Julie Makimoto

Spectra thinks Julie is rather clever but she is rarely showing it, hiding her intellegence behind the optimistic and botherless facade. She is subterra fighter, her bakugan is Hammer Gorem.

Alice Gehabich

Spectra is aware that she once was using her alter-ego The Mask and sent many Bakugan to the Death Realm, but since then she became a much better person and Spectra can't help but to appreciate and respect her. He also thinks Alice is the strongest darkus fighter alive and is interested in her and her bakugan - Alfa Hydronoid.

Baron Leltoy

Spectra thinks Baron is weak and laks self-confidence, even though the potential is there. Baron is a chaos brawler, his Bakugan is Nemus.

Gauntlet

Gauntlet is a special device that is used to activate Bakugan's abilities. Spectra uses the red Gauntlet. It is put on the right arm and clinges to it. Also Gauntlet has a built-in retrievable plasma blade.
