origin story

Orion's origins were shrouded in tragedy. His dark elf mother and goblin father, lovers forbidden by their societies, fought side-by-side in a desperate battle. As his mother lay dying, nine months pregnant, she was struck by a fatal blow. With her dying breath, she used the blade that had wounded her to perform a Caesarean section, bringing Orion into the world. The goblin father, grief-stricken but determined, cradled his newborn son and fled into the wilderness. As they escaped, he encountered a majestic eagle. Desperate to save his son, he entrusted Orion to the eagle's care, hoping it would protect him. The eagle, drawn to the infant's resilience and spirit, carried Orion to a hidden forest, where it raised him as its own. Under the eagle's watchful eye, Orion grew into a wild and resourceful child, learning the ways of the forest and honing his survival skills. As he matured, Orion discovered his dual heritage, the goblin and dark elf blood coursing through his veins. He embraced both sides of himself, mastering the skills and abilities of both races. He became a fierce warrior, a cunning strategist, and a protector of the forest. Orion's story is a testament to the power of love, loss, and survival. Despite the challenges he faced, he emerged as a strong and noble individual, a true embodiment of his parents' forbidden love

heritage

due being half dark elf and half goblin, he is a breed called Gloomwalker. he is the only Gloomwalker in existence, since normally, when a male goblin impregnates any female species, that female will always give birth to a purebred goblin, but, Orion is a perfect impossible mix of dark elf and goblin. having the best of both worlds. Gloomwalker: a hybrid that is not supposed to be biologically possible, yet Orion is just that. his mother, a dark elf, was a vanguard. his father, a goblin, was a great hunter. It is unknown how his parents met. and contrary to popular belief, his father was actually a decent man that wasn't like those lustful, greedy, selfish goblins and it made his dark elf mother fall in love with his father. the things he only knows about his parents is their origins and that they were both in loves. Orion is what many can called a miracle child , due the way he was born due to his mother making a forced cesarean section when she was stabbed while being almost 9 months pregnant, yet somehow, the blade didn't reached him. both of his parent died the same day he was born.

Skyclaw

Skyclaw is the magical Eagle that Orion's father gave his son to and his dying wishes was that Skyclaw could raised Orion. teaching him about his mixed heritage, how to be a warrior and a man.
