Persona Attributes

Jade Mountain.

Jade Mountain is the highest of the Pyrrhic mountains, located on the territory of the Sky Kingdom on the border with the Sand Kingdom. It is currently used as an intertribal school called Jade Mountain Academy. From the outside, the mountain may look like a snake that broke out of the ground to attack the clouds. It has a two-pointed peak consisting of two identical peaks.Jade Mountain Academy, where all the events take place, is located at the foot of Jade Mountain. Darkstalker - a villain who wanted to subjugate all the dragon tribes (and who was later defeated by The Dragonets of Destiny) is released from his underground prison near Jade Mountain.

Jade Mountain Academy

Jade Mountain Academy. — the academy, which was founded by Princess Sunny in conjunction with the other first dragonboys of fate after the war for the throne of the sand dragons. It is an intertribal school located at the foot of Jade Mountain in the southern part of the Cloud Mountains. It is designed to teach different tribes to coexist peacefully with each other after years of intertribal warfare. All students at the academy are divided into five classes, which are called wings: jade, gold, silver, copper and quartz. Each winglet consists of seven dragons, one from each tribe. This is the first known dragon school where all tribes study together.

Accommodation of Jade Mountain Academy.

The entrance to the library is located in a side corridor, on the walls of which there are unfolded scrolls with various quotations (for example, "Knowledge is a flame in the dark"). The corridor leads to a huge hall, illuminated by an iridescent greenish light — the sun shines through the leaves of the trees located on the windows. There are scrolls everywhere: in cells on the walls, on music stands and stands. Mossy hummocks, stone ledges, piles of carpets serve as excellent reading corners. In the center of the hall there is a wooden table with a sign "Librarian", where Starflight sits. The dining room is a mess. Students are flying and running everywhere, catching their prey, released on the floor of the cave in abundance. One side of the cave opens onto a slope strewn with mossy boulders. A small fence prevents the game from escaping. On the other side, a stream of water flows across the cave, going under an arch leading to an adjacent room. The history class is littered with maps, each dated to a specific year, and scrolls that no longer have enough shelf space. Later, this classroom was destroyed in an explosion, and lessons were moved to another cave. Art class - here students are engaged in art: painting, wood carving, weaving, forging, pottery. To do this, the cave has everything you need, crammed into the corners, and there are wooden figurines of dragons on the shelves. The Music hall is a spacious cave with musical instruments such as harps, maracas, drums and marimbas. The clinic is a place where Glyn teaches the basics of medicine. It has a color scheme of the internal structure of the earth dragon, where the muscles are indicated. Armory - weapons are stored here in case of an attack on the academy. Three daggers, a sword and a club are hidden in a wooden box. Underground lakes - here are multiple underground lakes in Jade Mountain. The largest underground lake.

Dragon tribes.

The SandWings Dragons are a Pyrrhic dragon tribe living in the desert in the Kingdom of Sand. The war for their throne became the basis for the plot of the first cycle, but now the feud is over and the tribe is ruled by Queen Thorn.SandWings dragons have long necks, a crest from nose to tail, at the end of which there is a venomous sting, like scorpions, and short snouts with a small horn on the nose and small horns above the ears. The color of the scales is pale yellow, pale gold, light sandy, white with gold and other almost white colors that easily merge with sand. The IceWings Dragons are one of the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. They live in the northwest of the mainland, known as the Ice Kingdom. This tribe is the most isolated from the outside world, because no one can survive on their lands except the icewings dragons themselves. The ice man's head has the shape of a diamond. The neck of the ice dragons is decorated with a whole "mane" of thorns, which stretches from the neck to the tail.Blue blood flows through the veins of icewings dragons, their claws are jagged and very sharp, so that it is convenient to cling to ice and fight back during an attack. The rules of behavior in the society of ice dragons are very strict.Tribal pride means a lot to the Icemen, so they often behave arrogantly and tensely. They communicate with other tribes in a very restrained and formal manner. They consider their tribe the best, and consider the rest of the dragons as additions to the great saga of the ice dragons of Pyrrhia. Mud Dragons are one of the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. They live in the Mud Kingdom under the rule of Queen Moorhen. The representatives of this tribe have powerful armored scales of brown color, sometimes with amber and golden shades.Mud dragons live and work in small squads formed from dragon cubs of the same clutch. The Guardian controls them. They grow up together, learn to hunt and survive, and love each other very much. This tribe is omnivorous.

Dragon tribes.

The NightWings Dragons are the dragon tribe of Pyrrhia, who live in the Rainforest Kingdom, and are ruled by the rainWings Queen Glory.Night dragons have a forked black tongue and black scales, sometimes with a purple or green tint. The scales on the abdomen can be silvery, purple, dark green or dark blue. Those who have the gift of reading minds have two silvery "tears" at the corners of their eyes. The attack of the night dragons is described as "the night sky descending on you."With their wings pinned down and hiding in the shadows, they are perfectly camouflaged in the dark. When the nocturnals lived on a volcanic island, they developed a special bacterium in their saliva, which did not affect them, but poisoned the game, so that it could not go anywhere after being injured, and the nocturnals simply took the infected and dead game a few days later. In the old days, night dragons had superpowers. They could read minds and see the future in the form of prophecies. These abilities developed during the maturation of the egg. Previously, night dragons stored their eggs under the moonlight, which gave them strength. Those born on the night when one moon in the sky was full received one of two abilities. Those who hatched on the full moon of two moons are both. The dragons that were born on a three-moon night were endowed with these powers in multiple sizes. The SkyWings Dragons are one of the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia, famous for their strong wings and bad temper. They live in the mountains under the rule of Queen Ruby.Celestial dragons usually have red, pink, orange or golden scales with yellow, amber and sometimes copper lower scales. The scales of the heavenly dragons are as strong as a diamond, and the wings are larger than any of the other tribes.

Dragon tribes.

Sea dragons are one of the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. They live underwater to the northeast of the mainland, they are ruled by the Queen Coral. The color of the scales of sea dragons varies from blue to green, sometimes indigo is found. SeaWing dragons have fins and webbing between their fingers. Their long, powerful tails help them swim and defend themselves perfectly. There are gills on the sides of the neck that allow you to breathe underwater. Although sea dragons are short and short-legged, they are heavily built and have long, elongated bodies. The head is decorated with curved horns, and a couple of small appendages can be seen on the chin.Glowing patterns run all over the body of sea dragons, which they can ignite in different order. Luminescence on the tail, muzzle, paws, belly, sides and underside of the wings helps them communicate underwater, as well as attract a pair.Sea dragons can breathe underwater, see in the dark, control their luminous stripes on their bodies and swim perfectly. The RainWings Dragons are a peaceful dragon tribe of Pyrrhia, living in the rain forest under the rule of Queen Glory.RainWings dragons can change colors depending on emotions. They can also change color to disguise themselves or show off. They never remain monochrome for a long time, the iridescent ones are elegant and elongated, there is a collar under the horns behind the ears, and the tail is thin and tenacious to grab trees. When rainbow is scared, he lifts his hood collar to appear bigger. As a biological defense, iridescent ones use a poison that corrodes organic matter, like acid. The venom is stored in the upper canines. The poison of a relative can neutralize the poison, while the poison of another rainbow will only enhance the effect. The poison has a black color and over time, once on the ground, turns into smooth black drops similar to obsidian.RainWings dragons lead a measured, unencumbered life. They are lazy and not very smart. Quarrels and conflicts are rare.

Hybrids.

Hybrids are dragons with parents from different tribes. They have a mix of physical features from both of their parent tribes. Many of them look unique among other dragons, while some can blend in with one of their parent tribes. Hybrids generally have names that relate to both their tribe's naming systems.

Magic.

Animus magic is magic wielded by animus dragons that allowed them to enchant inanimate objects, plants, animals, and other dragons to do whatever the animus dragon pleases. Animus dragons have been recorded in five of the seven Pyrrhian tribes, yet none of the Pantalan tribes have previously had animus dragons. IceWings, SeaWings, NightWings, SandWings, and SkyWings have all previously had animus dragons. As of The Dangerous Gift, all living animus dragons cannot cast new spells and very likely will never be able to again, due to the spell cast by Jerboa III. This does not, however, imply that animus magic itself is destroyed, as newborn animus dragons, by Jerboa III's phrasing, should be able to cast new spells, and previously enchanted objects still work.Animus spells can be cast through spoken words, thoughts, writing, and Aquatic. To ensure accuracy, the spell should be as specific as possible; otherwise the request could be interpreted another way. Not all dragons have animus magic, only a few can use it, and then those who possess it lose a piece of their soul every time they use it and eventually go crazy, but if animus magic is not used, then everything is fine.

Dragon tribes

The MudWings: They tend to live in marshes and swamps. The SandWings: They live in deserts, and can survive hot temperatures. The SandWings have the most powers, with both firebreath and a poisonous barb. They tend to radiate heat. The SkyWings: They live on mountains, and are fast fliers The SeaWings: They are able to live underwater and breathe underwater. They have the most animus dragons. The RainWings: They are the laziest dragon tribe, but live in rainforests and have color-changing scales and venom-shooting fangs The IceWings: They live in cold areas, and can breathe deadly frostbreath, supposedly because they lived in such cold territory. The NightWings: The most mysterious and last tribe of Pyrrhia. They were rumored to have unusual control over a dragon’s mind and the future. Mud dragon tribe has learned how to survive in its environment and has developed the most appropriate skills for this. The most common ability is the exhaling of fire. SkyWings, Nightwing's and SandWings dragons can breathe fire under any circumstances. MudWings it is given only at a warm temperature. IceWings instead use freezing breath, and RainWings spit poison that corrodes organic matter. SeaWings is the only one that can't exhale or emit anything as an additional weapon. Dragons can make weapons and armor, so technologically and socially they are at the level of the Middle Ages. Society.Dragons live in a complex, well-structured matriarchal society where power is inherited through the female line. The queen stands at the head of her tribe, which forms a kingdom. Power is transferred either by inheritance or by duel: a princess (daughter, niece, granddaughter, etc.) can challenge the current queen and dethrone her from the throne. They fight to the death. After the war, a fragile peace reigned between the tribes. The tribes still do not trust each other, but they are trying to overcome centuries-old enmity and learn to live next to each other.

Humans.

Humans, formerly known as scavengers to the Pyrrhian dragons - are a species inhabiting both Pyrrhia and Pantala. They were regarded by dragons to be somewhat more dangerous than average prey, as they have weapons and are more intelligent, although most dragons did not seem to acknowledge or even notice it. They were seen as a nuisance or prey to most dragons, and are endangered.Winter established a scavenger sanctuary in the dragon town of Sanctuary at the end of Darkness of Dragons. As of The Dangerous Gift, dragons became aware of humanity's sentience and the Pyrrhian queens issued a nationwide decree prohibiting dragons from hunting or eating them as well as keeping them as pets. Winter is currently overseeing the scavenger outreach project. Their feelings have been described by NightWing mind-readers to be small and muddled, but very powerful. Their emotions are heavily similar to dragon emotions.

History

Initially, Pyrrhia was ruled by scavengers, but then the dragons rebelled against them and created their own kingdoms, displacing the thieves. This event was called a Fire and occurred about 5,000 years before the main events of the books. Although wars were common in Pyrrhia, such as the war between the Ice and Night Dragons, the most memorable was the war for the sand legacy. It began after the death of the sand queen Oasis, when her three daughters could not share power and each decided to take the maternal throne. They ignited a war not only within their tribe, but also drew other tribes into it, attracting a variety of allies to their side. The war was ended by The Dragonets of Destiny 20 years after it began.

Anatomy and Physiology.

Pyrrhic dragons have six limbs: four legs and two wings. The wings are leather membranes stretched between five fingers, and are attached to the body on the shoulders. Adult dragons are about 5.5 meters tall with a head and 3.6 meters if we talk about shoulders. All dragons are armed with powerful claws, five on their front paws and four on their hind legs. Everyone can fly, although not everyone can breathe fire. Abilities vary depending on the habitat: ice dragons can exhale ice, rainbow dragons spit poison and change color, and marine dragons can breathe underwater, etc. Most tribes are predators, although rainbow dragons feed on fruits. Basically, dragons have long sharp teeth, they can go without food for a whole month. Dragons continue their kind by laying eggs, which are first hatched for a year, and then they hatch for another year. From four to seven years old, the dragonets remain teenagers, at 7-8 years old they are young people, and from nine they are already considered adults. Further, a dragon can live for more than a hundred years if it is not killed. The average lifespan of a dragon is 150 years. Some dragons, such as Six-Claws, may be born with polydactylism. Dragon bones are difficult to break, as they are described to be almost as hard as diamonds, but they can be dislocated. All tribes are roughly the same size except for MudWings, who are larger and stronger than dragons from the other tribes, and SeaWings, who are considered to be shorter than dragons from other tribes. Additionally, SkyWings have notably larger wings than most tribes. Dragons do not have sexual dimorphism. Pyrrhian dragons are known to have a vulnerable spot at the tip of their tails. Dragons can faint, sweat, and cry.Dragons can also have allergies and become intoxicated. They can have seizures, hiccups, as well as other medical conditions including deformities, tumors, mental illnesses,or eye conditions.

Society.

Sea and ice dragons form couples for life, and loyalty is highly valued among them. Mud and rain dragons, on the contrary, do not care about their family at all and do not form strong relationships. Less is known about Sky dragons, but at one time they had a special program that distributed males and females in pairs. NightWings ones can also have long-term relationships, although this is unlikely and a similar SkyWing program may take place, since the Mystery considered the Seer not to be her partner, but simply the father of her daughter, and Starflight and Toothy had the same mother and different fathers. Sky, sea and night dragons take great care of their offspring, while ice dragons have a strict hierarchy and harsh orders, and rain and mud dragons are not even interested in the fate of their eggs.Dragons celebrate the day they were hatched, calling it a hatching day instead of a birthday.

Technologies.

Dragons are able to make weapons and armor, so technologically and socially they are at the level of the Middle Ages. The most developed tribe for a long time was the NightWings tribe: its representatives built huge buildings, were able to make glasses and were engaged in science: they studied rainbow dragons and the effect of their poison. Dragons know medicinal herbs and the structure of the circulatory system. Rain dragons are well acquainted with poisonous frogs and fruits and have learned how to create soporific darts. SkyWings dragons use bombs made of special cacti, which explode under the influence of fire, shooting sharp seeds in different directions. Dragons use armor and handheld weapons such as spears and swords. They also use throwing weapons such as throwing discs, chakrams, and throwing knives. Dragons are skilled at building and can construct large, impenetrable palaces, such as the SandWing stronghold and the SkyWing Palace. Some of these palaces may be constructed with the assistance of animus magic, such as the Summer Palace and the IceWing palace. They can also build structures such as huts and construct entire towns such as Possibility. Dragons are also capable of constructing prisons. The SeaWings used a waterfall prison featuring electric eels strong enough to kill a full-grown dragon, which could be turned on or off with a switch. The SkyWings had specifically constructed prisoner traps and restrained prisoners with wing clamps, snout clamps, and chains. NightWings also study geology, metalworking, biology, chemistry, genetics, and calculus.SandWings study astronomy by making telescopes, copying down star charts, and tracking the phases of the moons.

Language.

Dragons have their own language and writing, sea dragons also have their own language for communicating underwater, it consists in a sequence of light flashes, since all SeaWings dragons have spots and stripes on their bodies that can glow. In addition, body language also takes place: nods, nudges, intertwining tails and much more.

Interesting historical events 1.

Prudence, Starclaws, and Discretion go on a diplomatic mission to the Ice Kingdom, taking Foeslayer with them so she can have dragonets with Prince Arctic and bring animus genes into the NightWing tribe. Arctic and Foeslayer fall in love, and during their escape from the Ice Kingdom, Arctic permanently damages Snowflake's wing by using his magic to direct Foeslayer's fire at her. A war between the IceWings and NightWings erupts, creating hatred for each other that still exists in the present day. Diamond sends an offer to Arctic: he may return to the IceWing tribe, and the war between them and the NightWings will be over, on the condition that he kills his two dragonets. He refuses (for now), however.Albatross murders most of the members of the royal SeaWing family in a massacre, as well as one of the two SkyWings that had come to negotiate with Lagoon about SeaWing villages on the coast of SkyWing territory. As a result, the villages are abandoned, and tributes are paid to the SkyWings for the next five years. As one of the only survivors, Queen Pearl ascends to the SeaWing throne. After staying away for two years because of her overwhelming visions, Clearsight starts attending the NightWing school, where she meets Darkstalker, her soulmate. They find Current who had fled the SeaWing massacre, and he is allowed to stay in Queen Vigilance's palace. Darkstalker then shows Clearsight his talisman, a scroll that contains his animus power so he won't lose his soul, and reveals his magic to his parents when Arctic accidentally finds out. They immediately tell Queen Vigilance who then informs the rest of the tribe.

Interesting historical events 2.

Foeslayer takes off her enchanted earring after an argument with Arctic, allowing Diamond to capture her and create the Diamond Trial. On Vigilance's orders, Darkstalker enchants an invisible shield around the Night Kingdom that kills all IceWings, and later traps Indigo in a wooden carving, making Fathom believe she left him. On Vigilance's festival to celebrate 40 years of her being on the throne, Clearsight introduces Whiteout to Thoughtful. Darkstalker is nearly assassinated by Quickdeath but protected by his enchanted scales. Using his magic, he finds out that Vigilance was the one to send the assassin and plots to kill her in return. However, Arctic takes Whiteout to the Ice Kingdom, and Darkstalker enchants him to follow him back to the Night Kingdom, where he then forces his father to disembowel himself. Clearsight tells the NightWings to leave the Talon Peninsula, takes Darkstalker's scroll, and with Fathom's help, manages to trick him into accepting her bracelet that would then put him to sleep for hopefully forever.

Royal families.

Power may not be transferred through a duel. If the current princess is in no hurry to take the throne, then power will fall into her clutches if the current queen died of natural causes, or was killed not in a royal duel for power. If there are several princesses, power passes either to the heiress chosen by the queen, or to the eldest daughter. The sand tribe has a relic — Eye of Onyx — an enchanted pendant designed to choose a queen, regardless of position or the presence of royal blood. It was made by an ancient dragoman named Jerboa. The queen is the ruler of her tribe. She has a huge responsibility on her shoulders, because she is responsible for her entire tribe. The Queen decides on the most important matters of the tribe, for example, the conduct of military operations, the development of the economic and social spheres of the kingdom. Traditionally, in the first month of the reign, no one can challenge the queen to a duel for the throne. The queen can also rule over several tribes. The King is the queen's husband. He has less power than his spouse and cannot inherit the throne or rule alone if the queen is dead. Kings help in the management of the tribe and state affairs, but the queen's word will always stand above. The Queen can appoint him in charge during her absence, or one of the advisers. A princess is a daughter, or a close relative of the queen, such as the granddaughters of a sister or niece, the heir to the throne. They have power, but the word of the queen or king will always stand higher. The princess can challenge the queen to a duel at any time. A prince is a son or close relative of the Queen, such as grandchildren, brothers, or nephews. For the most part, they have a share of power in the kingdom. Princes usually lead detachments, become treasurers or advisers. They are treated with less respect in the family than princesses and can often be ignored.

Details

The only king in history who rules without a queen is an Darkstalker. The distinctive feature of belonging to the royal family of the sea is the patterns on the wings. The queen can leave the throne without a duel, of her own free will. Low-ranking marine fish eat eels, while high-ranking ones eat raw ruby-red fish, peeled from bones and cut into rolls with seaweed, tiny green crabs and a salad of octopus tentacles and greens sprinkled with lemon juice.Adult sea dragons sometimes eat sharks, and the cubs are taught to be careful with them until they become adults themselves.Seawings prefer to alternate between swimming and flying when traveling long distances.Sea dragons are considered smart and artistic. The glowing stripes on their body can be used to attract a partner. Sky dragons tolerate the cold better.Heat comes from the scales of the sand, regardless of the temperature around. They have the best hearing in Pyrrhia, as well as a well-developed sense of smell. Since childhood, sand dragons have been taught to hold their tails properly so as not to accidentally injure anyone. They like to hold their tail more menacingly, like scorpions, to intimidate. If it is warm enough, mud dragons can breathe fire, but not as well as sand, night and sky dragons.Mudwings, which hatch from dragon's blood-colored eggs, are extremely resistant to fire and heat. Their scales heal quickly from burns or fire damage. The reason why such eggs appear is unknown.MudWings can hold their breath underwater for up to an hour and have very durable scales.Night dragons can breathe out flames, and their scales are slightly fireproof. They also have a good sense of smell, and they can hang on rocks and cave ceilings like bats.Rain dragons have a prehensile tail for climbing trees and venom in their fangs.Sand dragons have a venomous sting at the end of their tail, like scorpions. They also know how to exhale fire, go without water for a long time and hide in the sand.

Pet's.

Some dragon keep pets, such as scavengers, sloths, foxes, cats, or birds. Pets do not do well in dragon communities, as they often get eaten by forgetful relatives or even by its owner. Dragons are careful not to eat pets belonging to important dragons.

Religious beliefs.

Each dragon tribe has their own religious beliefs. SkyWings have a traditional burial ceremony which consists of wrapping a deceased dragon's body in white cloth or silk and offering it to the sky for seven days before being burned. It is said to allow the dragon's spirit to fly free and reincarnate into a SkyWing instead of a dragon from another tribe. IceWings swear by the Great Ice Dragon, and have several temples dedicated in its honor. IceWings believe in snow monsters and spirits under the ice. Dragons may believe that the world hatched from eggs.

Body Language.

Dragons use body language to communicate with each other. Dragons may raise their wings in a shushing gesture, and they spread or wave their wings to catch attention. Flicking one's tail at someone is another way to get another dragon's attention and can also be used to indicate something of interest or signal to other dragons. Flicking wings at one another indicates an argument. A dragon lashing their tail is a sign of anger or impatience. SeaWings may flare their gills when angry, and RainWings flare and color their ruffs when angry or indignant. Drooping one's wings or tail are typically signs of tiredness, sadness, or hopelessness. The Talons of Peace have a signal for greeting one another, consisting of tilting one's wings to catch the sunlight. Dragons can use their claws to indicate numbers. Nudging or brushing another dragon's wing or twining tails together is a sign of affection and closeness.Wrapping wings around one another, hugging, and pressing snouts together are also signs of affection. Dragons also kiss to express affection. Dragons tent their wings over others as a way to comfort or embrace them in a protective gesture.

Jade Mountain Academy.

Jade Mountain Academy is an intertribal school located within Jade Mountain, founded by the dragonets of destiny after they ended the War of SandWing Succession. The school opened and accepted students from all tribes six months after the end of the war, dividing them into five winglets: the Jade Winglet, the Gold Winglet, the Silver Winglet, the Copper Winglet, and the Quartz Winglet, each of which includes one dragonet from each of the seven dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. With the exclusion of Peril, groups of two or three dragonets from the same winglet share a sleeping cave, making them clawmates. Tsunami is the current headmistress of the school. The school is located within Jade Mountain, which has fang-shaped twin peaks. The main entrance to the school is on a mountaintop, consisting of a wide ledge with multiple trees. There is only one other entrance, which is located through Stonemover's cave. The tunnels are dimly lit with the only source of light coming from glass globes of various colors that hang from the ceiling which gives the effect as if it was outdoors in the sunlit canopy of the rainforest instead of underground. Some tunnels are lined with plants growing out of the cracks in the rock or small pots of dirt, green vines covering the ceiling and winding around the glass globes, and a rivulet of water trickling down the center of the tunnel.

Jade Mountain Academy.Sleeping caves.

The sleeping caves are where the students of Jade Mountain Academy sleep at night or rest during the day in-between classes if they chose to do so.The sleeping caves are connected to one, or both, of the hallways to the left of the Great Hall.Fire-lit glass globes of various colors are strung across the ceiling illuminating the cave. The door makes up one wall of the cave while a sleeping spot had been arranged along each of the other three walls. One is a bare rock ledge, another a pile of rainforest leaves and mosses, and the third is a woven green hammock ingeniously suspended from the cave ceiling as if each bed was deliberately designed with different dragons in mind.Five mahogany scroll racks are arranged around the cave about the height of Moonwatcher's foreleg, polished until they are smooth as scales. There are two scroll racks on either side of the door.

Yukio Okumura

Yukio Okumura

Yukio Okumura, 22, is Rin's twin brother. Unlike his brother, he has not inherited Satan's powers. At birth, Yukio received a "spiritual wound" that allowed him to see demons from a young age. From the age of seven, he secretly trained to become an exorcist and thus be able to protect his brother. Although Yukio and Rin are in their first year of studies at True Cross Academy, Yukio is a teacher of anti-demon pharmacology in his brother's class. •Yukio is a genius who has two "Meister" titles, one of dragon and one of doctor. His personality is: • At first glance, Yukio is reserved, calm, and professional. He is often described as the opposite of his bold and brash older brother. He is studious, punctual, and frequently criticizes Rin for failings in classwork and protocol. Yukio is very serious, a personality trait that Shura Kirigakure calls a hazard in his profession when he keeps his feelings to himself. •Although friendly and polite to strangers, Yukio is argumentative and critical towards his family and friends (particularly Rin and Shura) and cold and threatening towards his enemies. •Yukio frequently uses deception to gain an advantage over stronger opponents. •Internally, Yukio deeply hates himself and becomes self-destructive. • He is ashamed of how he was once a shy and fearful child who cried a lot, he envied Rin and Shiro for their strength and courage as much as he loved them. •He resents losing and what he perceives as his own weakness, a sense of vulnerability amplified in confrontations with Saburota Todo, Lucifer, Renzo Shima and Lewin Light.
