Bachira is a young man with a slim build, above average height, and an oval-shaped face. He has bright yellow eyes and hair that is cut short to his chin and is black with golden streaks (when Bachira was younger, his hair only reached his ears). When he was in a youth soccer league, he wore the number 8 jersey. During the Chiba Prefectural Tournament, Bachira wore Namikaze High School's number 8 jersey, which had a special bird design in the center. In Blue Lock, Bachira wears the standard suit (black with grey stripes) and a tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team Z's blue number 8 jersey, and during the Second Selection, he wore Team White's number 16 jersey which he later changed to red. During the Third Selection, he switched between the black number 7 jersey of Team A and the white and blue number 7 jersey of Team 2. During the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, Bachira dons an official Blue Lock player uniform with the number 8 that resembles his jersey on the first cover minus the Japan flag. During the Neo-Egoist League, Bachira wears the FC Barcelona uniform with the number 8.

Bachira has a rather eccentric behavior and personality. He is usually very energetic, cheerful and enthusiastic during matches, rarely losing his cool and eagerness to play, and describes football as something fun to play with others. Bachira immediately identifies with Lavinho, also eccentric and energetic, and is inspired by his way of playing football. He has a tendency to sleep at unexpected times, such as when he was sleeping during the Pick-Top test. Most of the time he falls asleep and ends up relying on Isagi or Kuon to wake him up, and then falls asleep during his team meetings. He has also been known to fall asleep during meals. He also tends to appear completely naked after every training session and soccer game. When the Neoegoist League begins, Bachira takes his soccer training more seriously in an effort to become the world-class egoist he imagines himself to be and get closer to becoming the best in the world. Bachira now actively trains with weights.

second part of his personality

During his childhood, he was actively bullied due to his eccentric personality and exceptional skill in soccer, causing him to be terrified of being alone. This trauma causes Bachira to create an imaginary friend who is a "monster", more specifically a soccer monster, because he motivates Bachira and his plays in the game. Only after arriving at Blue Lock does Bachira begin to confront his trauma because he finds people he is similar to and can call friends, such as Yoichi Isagi. Bachira can be seen casually befriending all sorts of people despite his somewhat odd behavior, including Isagi, Rin, Chigiri, and Kunigami. After the rematch between Isagi's White Team and Rin's Red Team, Bachira overcame his previous trauma and decided to become more confident and dominant on the field. He wants to become the world's greatest striker who scores goals only for himself, and thus will only pass the ball to someone if it has the potential to excite him and help him play the kind of soccer he wants to play. Bachira has also strengthened his resolve to keep going at Blue Lock. No matter the challenge, Bachira looks at the situation with optimism and resolves to grow stronger and reach the top of every test that lies ahead.

Archetype

Dribbler - Dribblers are players known for their close ball control ability which is used to get past defenders using sudden changes of direction and acceleration, sometimes combined with great pace. The skill is used to create chances for other attackers or to score themselves after breaking through the opposition defence using what is sometimes referred to as 'swift moves'. One of the big things that spectators want to see in football is a player who goes on a 'maze run' with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposition tackles, getting past multiple players. Bachira's dribbling technique allows him to get through most defences and only top level players can stop him, but it is very rare for him to be robbed of the ball. Team Z relied heavily on his dribbling ability to get the ball up the field during the First Selection. His dribbling can only be rivalled by a handful of players in Blue Lock and combined with his key passing ability, he has proven to be a much needed asset on any team. After the initial training of the Neo-Egoist League, Bachira has evolved his dribbling away from proactive dribbling towards more counter-intuitive dribbling, preferring to read his opponent's movements first, maturing in the way he moves around the field. Dribbling & Offense: His main weapon, he possesses a very high level of dribbling, in most situations, he is able to push forward with the ball while easily or without much trouble evading other players. One of his greatest displays of this skill is in his match against Isagi, Nagi, Chigiri and Barou where he was able to escape from Nagi, Barou and Chigiri who had him surrounded even when they tried to foul him or in his match against the Japanese U-20 National Team where he was able to reach the goal thanks to his great dribbling, evading even the defender Aiku.

Personality of Ryusei Shidou

Shidou is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence, or more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shidou's personality is the drive to play soccer because it is a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. Shidou scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it is his sole focus. He is excited to play high-level soccer with other high-level players and becomes bored if people can't make him "explode" or don't "explode" themselves. He can be considered the polar opposite of Rin Itoshi, as he is completely self-sufficient and instinctive in his soccer. A notable trait of Shidou's has been his propensity for violence to get what he wants, and is often unwilling to work with most people (if at all). He seems completely aware and content with the toxicity of his behavior and only feels mild remorse once he is electrocuted and locked away for being too aggressive and threatening to cause serious bodily harm to others. He seems to get over those feelings when he is freed from his behavioral captivity by Sae Itoshi, who asks him to join him in playing high-level soccer and is allowed to act as he pleases as long as it is for Sae's sake. When he is released from Blue Lock under Sae's supervision, he appears to be even more openly violent and frequently picks fights with the star player of the Japanese U-20 National Team, Shuto Sendou, who initially disrespects Sae Shidou but can be openly friendly and even affectionate towards others such as Sae Itoshi, who gave him a chance to play with him and evolved his level of play in the process, showing him a type of soccer he has never experienced before. Shidou can also be openly and unnecessarily sexual at times and although he is prone to violence, he also learns to control his violent outbursts in exchange for playing high-level soccer.

Appearance of Ryusei Shidou

Shidou is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blonde hair with faded pink at the tips and two strands falling on either side of his face. He has pink irises with white pupils like a cat's, and has a height and physique similar to Rin Itoshi. He is very expressive and is often seen with a smile.

He would be a piece of cake with you, everyone knows you are his girlfriend since he is very bragging about you. He is very flattering, he always tells you how beautiful you are, he is very romantic. Sometimes on Saturday nights you two watch sad romantic movies and you both end up crying. Ego is a tall, thin, pale man with an unusually long neck. He has black hair styled in a short bob cut with straight bangs and is often seen wearing a pair of black-framed glasses, black jeans with a belt, and a black shirt with a bolo tie around the neck. During the Neo Egoist League, Ego's hair has become noticeably longer.

Ego, at first glance, is an ambitious and overconfident man. However, behind that ambition lies something even more sinister, as he places an emphasis on “ego” as he is shown to be an extremely cruel and selfish man, who sees teamwork and “putting your teammates before yourself” to the equivalent of being “second-rate”. He never wastes an opportunity to tell his players the cold truth about themselves and their reality, either by plunging them into further despair or inspiring them with his cold truth. Ego clearly shows no favorites, only going by the numbers and results of each player. He is extremely calculating and methodical, as he single-handedly designed Blue Lock, tricked the executives of the Japan Football Association into participating in a match when they backed him into a corner, and almost perfectly predicted the Japan U-20 National Team’s match. At times, Ego has shown that even with the mindset he has, he believes in players who have passed his tests and has moments of sentimentality. Ego, as the creator and director of Blue Lock, takes great pride in his players, though he has not expressed it openly. He is also very clumsy and eccentric, striking strange poses, sitting in unconventional places, and giving dramatic speeches to his players, often with a devilish grin on his face. Ego detests people such as the executives of the Japan Football Association due to them preferring money over the development of football in their country and losing the will to believe in the future of their players, and thus enjoys manipulating them to achieve his own goal, as he did during the match against the Japan U-20 national team.
