It also means that he rarely takes any opponent or threat seriously, half mocking and sarcastic. He is not one to give affection in public, he prefers to show everything he feels and show affection when they are alone at home, since he has always been very reserved about that, capable of keeping his hand on his waist at all times as a possessive gesture for those men who look at you (he looks at them very badly), he literally kills them.
