Appearance.

Alastor is a sinful demon, with a slim, elegant build, beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is about the same height as his rival Vox, 2 meters, although his original height is 1.86 meters. His hair is cropped and angled, pinkish red with black tips at the ends, and he has deer-like ears. The hairstyle has a back undercut and two small black horns protruding from the crown of his head that can increase in size in his demonic form. His eyes have dark red sclerae, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the shape of radio dials when he is in his demonic form). He also wears a dark red, oval monocle, with black trim, over his right eye. Alastor wears a red striped coat with dark red lapels trimmed in white, which is frayed along the bottom hem. Underneath he wears a bright red undershirt with a black cross on the chest, and long black pants with matching bright red cuffs. He adorns himself with a knotted black bowtie with a bright red center, black gloves with red on the fingertips, and black pointed boots with red deer hoof prints stamped on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin cane with a sensitive vintage-style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice. He also has a deer tail.

Dealer demons like Alastor can increase their power by trading souls, a very powerful commodity in Hell, so they are seen as very manipulative and should not be trifled with. Making deals is not something that all demons can do, so it should not be taken lightly as it usually does not work out well for the other party. Broadcasting - While alive, Alastor hosted radio shows, and continues his broadcasts in Hell, ensuring that the inhabitants of Hell are aware of his activities over the airwaves, earning him the title from "The Radio Demon". Bilingualism - Alastor speaks fluent English and some broken Creole French. Cooking-Alastor is "a big fan of cooking" and he mentions in the pilot having admired his mother's cooking, specifically his Jambalaya.

Curiosities.

Alastor possesses a transatlantic accent, which was commonly used by American announcers in the 1920s, as it was a combination of a regular American accent and the Received Pronunciation accent (Queen's English) used by the British Broadcasting Corporation in their radio news. He is the main character with the least sense of morality. Whenever he speaks, his voice sounds as if he is speaking through a vacuum tube radio, and the fact that he broadcast his massacre of demons over the radio earned him the nickname, "Radio Demon." Contrary to his 1920s/1930s aesthetic, Alastor does not know how to tap dance. He probably did not have time to learn it due to the fact that he died just before it became popular. Alastor's microphone can talk and has the same voice actor, however, this could change in the future.
