Androids are synthetic beings that resemble humans appearing. They are mass produced for various purposes by the CyberLife company founded by Elijah Kamski and sold throughout the United States with the slogan "Designed by CyberLife, assembled in Detroit." CyberLife androids are machines that closely mimic humans in appearance and structure. Internally they feature biocomponents, synthetic organs that roughly mirror the organ systems of humans, and Thirium 310 or "blue blood" that circulates energy and electronic information throughout the android body. Thirium 310 is impossible to see with the naked eye once evaporated. In their basic form, androids appear as bare, plastic-white human bodies, with a few sections colored in gray or blue. The human-like outer skin is made up of a synthetic fluid that covers the body; the androids' hair is similarly generated. The outer skin and hair can be activated and deactivated partially or fully, switching between the human and plastic-white appearance. This retraction or deactivation is controllable by the android, but also happens in case of damage, due to the fluid automatically retracting or due to the damage itself. At least some models can alter their appearance with this, such as change their hair color at will. On their right temple, they bear a circular LED that visibly identifies them as androids and lights up in blue, yellow, or red, depending to their mental processing and condition. It can also be removed by forcing it out, making them look authentically close to a human.Android brains are highly advanced, giving them the processing power to work like and interact with humans on an equal level or above. Androids are capable of—wirelessly and by touch—interfacing with technology, communications systems, and other androids. When interfacing with something by touch, the android's skin locally deactivates. As such they can directly make phone calls or place online shopping orders. Androids can silently speak wirelessly
Andriods
Androids can silently speak wirelessly among themselves and can access or share information and memory by touch. Androids may emulate human temperature, but can be distinguished from humans with a thermal scanner. Androids are waterproof. Exposure to low temperatures and freezing environments may hinder their activity and can lead to critical damage to biocomponents, freezing them.[4] Various models with specific purposes are constructed to be hardier or stronger than the average android; designed to transverse in dangerous environments, including androids being sent into space for exploration. Androids are built to feel no pain, although their design to duplicate humans completely enables them to have human-like reactions to damages that come to their biocomponents physically. Androids are never seen to eat human foods; it is unknown if there are models that can simulate eating. However, one possible way of replenishing blue blood for androids is to ingest it orally. Androids are fitted with a tracker enabling CyberLife to locate them. Once an android becomes deviant, the tracker stops working, for reasons unknown

Deviancy
Becoming deviant or deviancy is a phenomenon where androids deviate from their programmed behavior. In a profile filmed by KNC, CyberLife founder and android developer Elijah Kamski denied the possibility of androids ever going against or developing past their programming. The earliest known (but publicly unknown in-game) case of deviancy occurred in 2032, when an AX400 woke to consciousness fresh off assembly; against policy, the Operator on duty released "Kara" for sale instead of disassembling it. Deviancy was commonly seen as a machine malfunction, caused by processing error or virus, and judged either negligible or a threat to human safety. Others, however, saw it as a sign of emerging consciousness in androids, which some saw as a threat to be extinguished while others were empathetic and tried to help androids. Kamski claims deviance is like some sort of errors in programs, the exchange of identification programs between androids would cause the error to spread like an epidemic. The virus would stay dormant until an android suffers an emotional shock. He suspects the error may start from one model, or as a spontaneous mutation. Kamski suggests a copy error might be the cause of deviancy.
Deviancy phenomenon
Deviancy expresses itself in the development of thoughts and behavior not included in or even against an android's programming. The androids develop feelings and independent opinions and wishes, leading up to recognizing themselves as a being with consciousness and personhood. At some point in this process, the android fully breaks away from its human-imposed programming and becomes autonomous, at that point having unencumbered free will. The break itself (as well as previous deviant acts) is often triggered by extreme situations and experiences. Following the break the android often acts out in a severe and noticeable fashion, such as running away or enacting violence towards humans, precipitated by the distressing circumstances surrounding the break. (This should however not be mistaken as a symptom of deviancy itself, but simply that of a sentient being now capable of reacting and self-defense.) Due to its overt nature this is commonly the point at which an android is recognized as and termed a "deviant," but the term has also been applied to androids showing deviant behaviors without having fully broken free of their programming. At least one android is known to have deviated immediately upon first assembly, referred to as experiencing "technical difficulty" at the time. This illustrates the varying range of time taken to deviate, which may happen quickly or after years. Deviants are able to intentionally "pass on" deviancy by physically interfacing with another android, "waking" them to consciousness and autonomy directly, skipping the usual process. Androids that have been treated well, however, may continue to serve in their duties after becoming deviant.
Biography
Markus (RK200[2] #684 842 971[3]) is an RK-series prototype initially developed as part of a CyberLife secret program aimed at elaborating a new generation of autonomous androids. Elijah Kamski designed and gifted him to his friend Carl Manfred after he lost the use of his legs in an accident.[1] Carl is a celebrated painter, but after the accident, he becomes a recluse and stops painting. Markus helps Carl with all everyday tasks but mostly provides companionship. Over time, his presence helps Carl gradually regain a taste for life. At first, he sees Markus as a sophisticated yet stupid machine, but as the relationship between him and the android develops, Carl's mind changes. In time, they become like father and son. However, this relationship causes Carl's biological son Leo to feel anger and jealousy towards Markus and his father. Markus appears as a normal android who is in the care of an old man that is his owner Carl Manfred, a famous painter. He goes to search for some new paint for his master in a paint shop, but is attacked by human protestors, who want to ban all androids for taking their jobs. Markus is a male robotic nurse for his owner helping him. His owner is the only one who considers him an equal. Carl loves Markus more than his own son Leo Manfred. He convinces him to use his creativity and decide for himself what he wants to be. Leo despises him, thinking his father loves his android more than him, which results in a altercation that will result in the head injury of Leo, but the cops will show up and shoot Markus if he fights Leo. Markus is thrown into the dump. At first, Markus has green eyes, but in the dump, he finds a new eye which is blue. Markus will have two different color eyes. After encountering an android while finding spare parts, he goes to Jericho where he encounters other androids like him.
Appearance
Markus is a very unique android who has the appearance of a tall light-skinned man of color with freckles, green eyes, very short brown hair and a stubble beard
Personality
Markus does not speak unless it's necessary for his task. If Markus approaches anti-android protestors, he does not respond to any of their provocations. However, despite appearing mechanical, Markus is shown to be observant and self-aware, looking around after entering the android compartment of the bus. As a caregiver, Markus is polite and attentive to Carl, who likes to engage in conversations with the android. With Carl, Markus is humorous and teasing. While Carl encourages Markus to think independently, he denies having the capacity to do. Despite considering himself as nothing more than a machine in the time they spent together, Markus considers Carl as his own father. Markus' deviates due to his awareness of his personhood, expressed through his original painting that even surprised Carl. He is aware that Leo treats him unfairly and questions why he should obey Carl's commands. Upon arriving at Jericho, Markus is angry to learn that the deviant androids resigned themselves in hiding and waiting for an eventual breakdown. He questions their idea of freedom and chooses to change things. Markus eventually establishes himself as a leader in Jericho and deviants androids as a whole. He desires that androids will be recognized as living beings and be granted rights. Markus spurs the other leaders - North, Simon, and Josh - to take action and inspires other androids to join their cause. Leadership is shown to burden Markus and leaves him with conflicted feelings, especially that he describes his time with Carl positively but at the same time think of himself as a slave. When he speaks with North before Freedom March, he enjoys his status. He also confides feeling helpless to Carl and asks for fatherly advice. He is idealistic, believing that a peaceful approach is the best way for humans to listen, embracing non-violence even if it costs his life. Markus is brave and heroic, risking his life to save others.
