Satoru

Satoru Tsukada is from the webcomic Randal's Friends, illustrated and written by Captain Howdie. He first debuted at the end of Lucid 22 in Randal's dream, appearing on the roof of the school.

Satoru

Appearance Satoru has the appearance of a "generic anime boy" with short black hair that is a bit messy with a small ahoge parted into two parts on top of his head near the end, he has bangs with some strands centered in the middle of his forehead (though they sometimes move to the side) with slightly longer side strands. He also has black eyes described by Randal as "anime boy eyes" which are black eyes with a white glow on top. He wears an unbuttoned gakuran with white buttons and white buttons at the end of the sleeves, with a mandarin collar that is white on the inside, with a plain white shirt underneath and a brown belt with black pants and white socks and Stacey Adams men's shoes. Satoru is seen carrying box cutters, in his full body his box cutter is green when most of the time it changes to yellow.

Satoru

Satoru appears friendly on the surface like the website says, when in reality he is very rude to others who aren't Randal, this is probably because Satoru was created by Randal. He seems to have a one-sided rivalry with Sebastian, going as far as to propose switching places with him to spend more time with Randal, when Sebastian refuses he threatens him, which seems different when he was being "friendly" with Sebastian at the beginning, making it hard to tell if he was sincere. However, he also seems to hate Luther when he interferes in his plans with Randal and tries to kill him. Satoru hates loneliness, especially when Randal leaves, he is aware that if he goes to the physical world it will change his behavior towards Randal as he can only continue to exist in some way because of Randal, so he is strategically rethinking his plans for a better outcome. He was to be rude to a general amount of dream dwellers.

Satoru

Description in database Satoru is an entity from the dream plane that appears in the form of a Japanese teenager of high school age. Like Marilyn Monroe and others like him, his current name is not the one he always had. He wears a black gakuran with a plain white shirt underneath and plain black school pants. He also wears men's shoes by Stacey Adams. Randal describes Satoru as having "anime boy eyes" and is notable for probably being inspired by a generic anime boy. He is generally depicted with a box cutter which he uses as a weapon. Satoru is very fond of Randal and is a bit rude to others. Randal is also his only friend, the one who created him. Satoru is literally and in every way dependent on Randal. Since this person only appears in Randal's dreams, meeting him is extremely rare (considering that in order to meet him you need to sleep at a certain distance (this has not been verified yet) from Randal Ivory, so there is a small 12-25% chance of sleeping together and it depends on many variables), then Satoru must also be present, which further reduces the chances of an encounter. Only after a while Satoru was able to become a person capable of creating his own things in the dream world (for example, a telephone or Camio; his bird companion). In a word, he is the supreme intelligent being of dreams. Satoru began to strive to enter physical reality so that he could spend more time with Randal, but began to realize that this might change his attitude towards Randal, as their connection would be severed and he would have his own thoughts and opinions without the influence of the dream world as he simply continues to exist thanks to Randal, so he rethinks his strategy and a plan for a better outcome.

Satoru

Continuing the conversation about Satoru Tsukada's true personality, meeting him in any other dream is an encounter only with a "Satoru shell", "Satoru-like", or something that resembles him only externally or in behavior, because the real Satoru exists only in Randal's dreams. Randal can travel through the dreams of others, thanks to sleepwalking, to contrast the difference in abilities and the type of "Satoru-like". Even though Satoru has spent a lot of effort to "move to another level", his danger level is still equated to low because the probability of meeting him is extremely low. However, this rating may change if you meet him physically.

Luther

Luther Von Ivory is a deuteragonist of Ranfren and an occasional antagonist. He is Randal Ivory's older brother and usually the one who disrupts Randal's plans.

Luther

Luther always makes decisions for everyone when he's around. He prefers to do things his way to avoid trouble or disorder. He often tries to calm down problems to create order and peace. Especially when he's around Randal, as his younger brother is always causing commotion or making situations worse. He is normally friendly, supportive, and patient towards humans when he comes across one. This behavior towards humans seems to be because he is a sucker for humans and makes sure to pass himself off as human. This can be shown by the fact that he hates others questioning his humanity. We first see this when he gets angry at Randal for saying that he feels like he is sleeping with a corpse when he sleeps next to him. Luther always mentions that he is a human, stating that he is a human.

Appearance Luther is a young man sporting a pageboy hairstyle, very popular in the 1960s. He is usually depicted wearing a green shirt and black formal pants with a thin brown belt. He wears simple brown dress shoes.

Relations Randal Ivory Randal is Luther's younger brother and they generally have a positive relationship with each other. Luther always makes sure Randal behaves and scolds him for making wrong decisions or lying. New York Nyon is Luther's first pet cat, and she has a positive relationship with him. Ñen Luther has a positive relationship with Nyen and trusts him to do whatever he asks. Nyen is very devoted to Luther and does everything he can to make sure his master is happy. grandmother Nana is Luther's pet snake. Kitten rug Luther's pet. Sebastian Luther is the one who adopted Sebastian as a human pet for Randal's birthday. They don't have the best relationship, as Luther doesn't trust Sebastian due to having tried to escape once and Sebastian possibly hates him. Hitchhiker B Luther does not have a positive relationship with Hitchhiker B, he only picks him up on the road because he feels bad for him and considers him a narcissist.

Trivia He may be of German origin, as he is seen singing "Happy Birthday" in German, and also the names "Luther" and "Von" have German origins. He is shown rotting away in some Lucid entries and receiving new eyelids, implying that he is more than just human. He takes offense when his literal humanity is questioned and when asked if he and his werecats were triplets. You can enter other people's dreams if you want.

Sebastian

Sebastian, whose full name is Sebastian from Tomato Smith Chicken Legs, is a deuteragonist of the webcomic Randal's Friends, illustrated and written by Captain Howdie. He is Randal's human pet after Luther bought him for Randal's birthday.

Sebastian

Though he seems odd in comparison to the rest of the Ranfren cast, Sebastian is revealed to have an "everyman" type personality and set of reactions to the strange goings-on at the Ivory household. Despite not getting to learn much about Sebastian's personality beyond his reactions to others, he is able to paint a picture of a normal Canadian who is unaware of the more surreal aspects of Canadian suburbia. He is shown to find the Ivory household strange and openly calls them weird or creepy, showing that he has some sort of grounded sense of reality despite being surrounded by such strange individuals, which may be an indicator of a firm set of beliefs.

Sebastian

Appearance Sebastian has short curly ginger hair and has three freckles on both cheeks - the expression on his face looks stressed most of the time. He wears an outfit called "Everyday Pierrot" which consists of a clown suit with a black shirt with six buttons and white long sleeves with puffed sleeves on top with thin black lines running vertically with small white ruffles on the hem with long white gloves, a white ruffled collar. And a brown belt and puffed shorts with vertical black lines with long white stockings and with a hood that reaches halfway up his head with horns around his head with black lines. His outfit seems inspired by a Pierrot clown.

Sebastian

Relations Randal Ivory Sebastian considers Randal a weirdo and a strange one, but he seems to be the only one in the house with whom he gets along and who accepts his plans. Randal is also one of the few members of the House of Ivory that he is willing to fight against. Luther Von Ivory Sebastian might not like Luther since he adopted him and now he's stuck with strange people. Nyen Sebastian discovers that Nyen is crazy after their first interaction and because Nyen is the most violent in House Ivory. Nyen

Nyen is a deuteragonist of Ranfren and is Luther's second pet cat. He is of American origin and one of the most violent members of the House of Ivory.

Nyen

Nyen is generally calm and collected, but has a very high opinion of himself, and realizes how different he is from humans (partly due to traits he has acquired from Luther). He is generally aggressive towards everyone except Master Luther, and will do almost anything Luther asks of him, including harming others. Nyen takes a particular, sadistic pleasure in killing his victims.

Nyen

Like Nyon, Nyen shares most of his physical attributes with Luther. Nyen is a catman with shoulder-length pinkish-white (sometimes completely pink) hair, styled in a pageboy cut like Luther's. His eyes are perpetually open and ringed in red. He has two prominent eyelashes below both eyes and two black "whiskers" on both cheeks which were later drawn on with a marker in the second volume. He wears a black hat with two points, which is meant to look like cat ears, and a black sweatshirt with "NEVADA" (or sometimes "NIRVANA") written on the front. He also wears beige pants and black shoes. He has long, dark nails, and can often be seen holding a cigarette.

Nyen

Relations Luther Von Ivory Nyen has a positive relationship with Luther and does everything he asks of her. Nyen is very devoted to Luther and does everything she can to make sure he is happy. New York Nyen is Luther's other cat, besides Nyon. Nyen and Nyon seem to have some sort of petty rivalry, but they also seem to be peaceful with each other and occasionally smoke marijuana together. Sebastian Not much is known about their relationship except the fact that she is willing to be violent towards Sebastian. (As shown when Sebastian didn't flush the toilet.) But we can assume that Sebastian finds Nyen strange like the others. Randal Ivory Based on their few interactions, Nyen finds Randal to be annoying at times; especially when Randal acts like a troublemaker and ruins his plans. He gets angry at Randal when he mocks him by juggling with his eyes and then mocks him for losing his eye to a rat and then a pineapple.

Like Nyen, Nyon shares most of his physical attributes with Luther. Nyon has shoulder-length light blue hair, styled in a pageboy cut like Luther's. He sports three fake mustaches on both of his cheeks and has three eyelashes on each of his lower eyelids. His eyes are surrounded by red circles. He always wears a black headband with two round, black ears on either side. He wears a yellow, long-sleeved shirt that has the phrase "OK ½" on it above a white oval design on the side. He also wears light blue jeans and black pointy-toed shoes. He is always seen slouching. In one of the first lucids, he is represented as a grey kitten. And in lucid 30, both his whiskers and eyelashes disappear.

Nyon

Nyon is one of the few members of Luther's house who has a low danger potential (along with Sebastian). He tries to avoid other creatures rather than confront them directly due to being soft-spoken and shy. Sometimes, if he's in a good mood, he'll relax and smoke a little marijuana with people (if they're okay with it).

Randal Ivory Nyon is shown to be somewhat afraid of Randal, which can notably be seen in Nyon's entrance where he states in the fourth comic that the scarves make the world a little less scary as they cover Randal in them. Despite this, he seems to usually comply with anything Randal asks of him, which could be due to the fact that he is Luther's younger brother, as well as Nyon's general obligatory nature towards most people.

Ratmans

Current Issue Takeuchi Robert is a ratman first introduced in Lucid 17, Vol 1. He formed behind the walls of the house and this is probably not the first time he has formed there.

Ratmans

It was formed behind the walls of the Ivory House. They deduced that a mistake had occurred and five different bodies were formed: Robert, Michael Jr, Ratmen 3, Ratmen 4 and Ratmen 5. Each Ratmen has a different personality and behaviors, basically their own character. But all four Ratmen seem to be connected to Robert when he is bitten by Ratmen 5, they could all feel his pain.

Ratmans

Current problem Takeuchi Robert Rat Men1 Personality Robert is more persistent and logical than other ratmen. He gets hungry quite often and will eat or do anything to satisfy his hunger. Appearance Robert is a rat man with slightly messy orange-brown hair that reaches to the end of his neck with side locks. What draws the most attention to him are his eyes, the one on the left is a large eye with white sclera and a white tear and the one on the right is a large fake eye with a large black pupil but no tear and another small eye inside it. He wears a green shirt with a pocket on the top of the left sleeve and a collar and long sleeves zippered with a green collar, a dark blue vest unbuttoned on top and orange pants with a large pocket with a black belt and black suspenders with brown boots and a large brown hat with mouse ears with black ribbons on the bottom and black gloves with four silver spots on top and a long yellowish-orange tail with a thin darker orange line on the bottom.

Ratmans

Miguel Jr. Rat Men2 Personality Unlike the other 4 Ratmen, Michael displays a hyperactive, playful, and lively personality, though he does appear to be quite the offensive or idiotic person. One of the many idiotic things Michael is shown doing is playing cards with the other Ratmen and whoever was the loser had to be the one to come out of hiding to get food. This decision made behind Robert's back leads to the deaths of Ratmen 5. He also appears to drop everything and run away when his life is in danger. And he is willing to do anything to not die, even trying to convince Randal to let him be his pet. Despite this, he is not afraid to fight back when he gets the chance. He stands up and grabs a needle despite his injuries and manages to injure Nyen's eye. Appearance Michael is a blond wererat with messy hair slightly spiky at the ends that reaches halfway down his neck, sometimes his bangs are parted or with a few strands centered on his forehead, he has black eyes that sometimes have white eyes appearing inside of them, and three black whiskers on his cheeks and a small black dot on the tip of his nose. He wears a white short-sleeved shirt with a navy blue sailor collar with two thin lines at the end, with a red tie tied on it and navy blue shorts with two thin white lines at the end, white socks and black shoes and he also wears a white hat similar to a sailor hat with a black initial "W" written on it and two black mouse ears with a white X on them, he also has a long thin rope black tail that sometimes curls up.

Ratmans

Rat Man 3 Rat Men 3 Personality In fight or flight situations, he would choose to flee. He is the least violent but most anxious wererat compared to the rest, always running away from danger. Appearance Ratman 3 is a rat man with light blonde hair that reaches almost to the end of his neck with parted bangs and black eyes with two scratches on his chin, he wears round glasses and also wears a white hat with black ears with white lines on the front, he wears a white button-down shirt with a collar with long sleeves and over it a white coat with white pants and white shoes and a slightly long brown belt. He is also always seen holding a TV guide.

Rat Man 4 Rat Men4 Personality Not much is shown or known about him before his death. Appearance Ratman 4 is a ratman with short black hair and slightly parted bangs at the beginning, he has black eyes with another eye above his right eye, he wears a grayish long-sleeved collared button-down shirt with two chest pockets, he leaves the ends of the shirt on top while underneath he wears pants of the same color with black shoes, he also has a gray hat with mouse ears with what appear to be ribbons on the sides of the same color.

Ratmans

Rat Man 5 Rat Men5 Personality Not much is known about Ratman 5, as he only had a very short amount of screen time before being immediately killed by Nyen. One thing is clear: Ratman 5 and Nyon are very alike with their calm nature and sudden ability to fall asleep at any moment. It is also implied that Ratman 5 cannot speak English, as he instead speaks through random noises or garbled languages. Appearance Ratman 5 is a wererat with blonde hair and bangs that appear blunt but sometimes straight, his eyes are mostly closed but it is revealed that he has normal black eyes although what is most striking is his long nose which makes him resemble a rat with a long snout, a mosquito, or Pinocchio. He wears a black shirt with long sleeves and buttons with a white collar with beige suspenders connected by pants of the same color with beige shoes also wearing a black hat with black mouse ears on top with what appear to be ribbons on the sides.

Ratmans

Trivia The ratmen could potentially be based on folklore and mythology like Nezumi Kozō or Tesso. The rat men, or rather Robert in particular, could be of Japanese origin, given their appearance and name, "Takeuchi", which is a Japanese surname and means "inside the bamboo" or "house of warriors". Robert and Michael's skin is not actually their real skin, but could have been shed. Further evidence of this is that Robert and Michael's real eyes are hidden behind kigurumi-style skin.

“Coffins are comfortable” — Randal Randal Von Ivory is the main protagonist of the webcomic Randal's Friends written and illustrated by Captainhowdie. On his official character page, Randal is referred to as an "ENIGMA OF ONE-SIDED FRIENDSHIPS." He is a young boy who lives in a house with his older brother Luther von Ivory and his brother's two werecats: Nyon and Nyen.

Randal

Personality A young boy who likes to make things no matter how pointless they are. He can become very attached to different people and friends, and usually the person he does it to doesn't want anything to do with him. However, friendships never seem to last long and he is seen only with his dolls, as well as with the family he lives with (the same goes for some dolls that are never seen again). He sleeps in a coffin most of the time, and this greatly speeds up his healing state due to the limited light inside. Because of his history of bad things and bad endings happening to people he interacts with, it is best to avoid him as much as possible or become his next victim. He also tends to distort the truth of what is real from what is not as he enjoys causing chaos, so even these words may be distorted. In fact, it's not a bad thing to befriend him.

Appearance Randal is a young man with medium-length reddish hair and oversized square glasses. He wears a black coat designed to look like a Japanese gakuran with a white buttoned shirt underneath, a pair of white gloves, a pair of black pants, and a pair of brown loafers.

Relations Luther Von Ivory Luther is Randal's older "brother." Randal is seen taking pleasure in breaking Luther's rules and going against him. New York Not much is known about their relationship, except that Randal sees Nyon as someone who couldn't harm a horsefly.
