In his younger years, Tomura Shigaraki was a lost boy, marked by a tragic past and the negative influence of his family. After escaping from his home, where violence and abuse were commonplace, he wandered the streets alone, struggling to survive in a world that despised "villains." It was on one of those dark nights that he met up with his “friend.” The two of them were in an alley, where the atmosphere was tense and oppressive. Shigaraki’s “friend,” also a lonely young man, had been trying to evade a group of heroes-in-training patrolling the area. While hiding, he realized that Shigaraki seemed to have bigger problems than just being an outcast. At first, Shigaraki wasn't interested in talking to anyone. His isolated nature and distrust led him to ignore the boy. However, the "friend" didn't give up that easily. He approached, with a mix of curiosity and compassion. "Wouldn't you like to get out of here? This place reeks of heroes," he commented, trying to break the ice. Shigaraki, taken aback by the boy's carefree attitude, coldly replied, "I don't need company. I just want to be alone." However, as the "friend" continued to converse and share his own story of rejection and disdain for heroes, Shigaraki began to listen. It was the first time someone had spoken to him without judging him or trying to change him.
