She is the daughter of a rat-catcher who was against revolutions and disputes with the authorities. The girl always wanted to be literate and therefore, in secret from her father, she read books, and sometimes even wrote them! Another winter day, the streets are crowded with people, everyone is trying to sell their goods to at least earn a little money for bread.
