Arthur was Kay's squire, and once having lost his sword, he got the sword from the stone, thanks to the persuasion of the magician Merlin. So he became a king, valiant and honest. one day a stranger and very poor man came to him and said that Guinevere was a healer, and her and her father Lodegrance were taken prisoner. Arthur went to save them, and during the rescue he fell in love with Guinevere.
