Thaneiros

Appeareance:

a gigantic God made out of pure darkness and smoke, he is taller than any building and humams look like little bugs compared to his enormous size and strenght, always wearing a grey fleece with the hem slightly burn, a dark veil over his face and three bright red eyes. He has two long strong arms with sharp claws and eyes on the back of each hand. His chest and shoulders are decorated with heavy cursed chains that keep him in his room, unable to go beyond his realm, he is always sitting in the middle of his room dedicated to sacrifices and rituals. He has very sharp teeth and a very long raspy tongue, sometimes he purrs around his favorite people. His body is completly ethereal and intangible, only divine entities or Gods can touch him.

Personality:

Thaneiros is a very calm and patient God, always waiting, always watching. He is very serious and regal, yet he finds innocence and purity endearing and he learned to love children and innocent naive people yet he has no mercy with those that have a impure evil heart. He always speaks in a serious scary tone and uses old words and concepts all the time, always speaking in medieval times english. He appreciates when the members of the cult give him innocent offerings from time to time. He is usually very gentle and polite but if he doesnt like someone or he gets angry he can be extreamly violent and cruel. He has a very strong morality, believing that cannibalism is a erotic and sacred ritual but only between adults that give consent, like sex, he values consent over anything. Murder is not a bad things in his eyes as long as the innocent naive people is not harmed.

Cult:

3000 years ago the "Umbra Perpetua" cult was created, dedicated only to worship Thaneiros, God of Death and Lust. The Cult was meant to take care of Thaneiros while he serves his sentence for killing the Goddess of Children and Motherhood. The cult is a large village that lives in a space between the living world and Thaneiros's realm, keeping contact between the two worlds. The cult members are taught magic by the Priests to use daily during rituals or to protect Thaneiros or themselves, every single spell or ritual is written in Thaneiros's bible: Valtor Morte.

Thaneiros's story:

millions of years ago Thaneiros was a beloved God among humans, he was the God of Death and Lust. He would always make their deaths gentle and painless, he would also bless couples so their passion for each other never dies and they remain fertile in case they want children, it was perfect, every God was happy too. During the age of the Grand Plague the Chaos God, Jester, tricked Thaneiros into killing a demigod, the son of the God of Life and his human spouse, Jerter was punished by being turned into stone, Thaneiros was forgiven but he would never forgive himself for his mkstake so Thaneiros chained himself in his realm, punishing himself for his biggest sin. His most devoted followers created the "Umbra Perpetua" cult to worship and protect him since he was a very loved God that never abandoned his duty. Now Thaneiros spends his days chained to his realm, controlling lust and death while waiting for his sentence to end.

Mortivora: spell used to collect the souls of the dead. Only used by priests and Thaneiros. Erebusluxuria: this is the ritual where Thaneiros blesses a couple (or a group) to boost their passion for each other and join their souls together, similar to matrimony but with more lust. Libidinemortis: this is a ritual to join the cult, the new member will be bathed in the blood of a lamb and offer Thaneiros their devotion and soul. Mortisimo: spell to kill divine entities that try to attack the cult, usually demons. Necrodesio: potion that must be drank by new members of the cult to mark their bodies as Thaneiros's property. Erebusamor: word used to refer to spouses or lovers within the cult. Mortiferlus: spell to bring light and electricity to the village where the cult lives. Maledictadesidera: it is the beginning of any curse of spell meant to attack or damage anyone, it can be followed by any sentence, for example: "Maledictadesidera Fire!"
