Cherry has short grey hair cut in a bob. Throughout the series, he wears a white button-down shirt with blue sleeves, blue jeans, and a pair of white tank tops with red laces. He is almost always seen with headphones around his neck.

nature

He is often nervous and blushes, making it nearly impossible for him to talk to others. He is often seen wearing headphones to prevent people from talking to him; this is also done to muffle the sounds around him, as he dislikes loud noises, which he finds difficult to handle. He expresses himself through haiku, as he finds it difficult to talk to other people. Out of his two friends, Japan and Beaver, he is the most mature and collected. He also often gets annoyed at his mother Maria for always liking his haiku when he posts them on Curiosity; he once asked her to stop, to which she simply brushed it off, telling him, "Aren't they just me?"

little things

He works part-time at the Yodamari day service in a nearby shopping mall. He covers for his mother, who has a bad back and cannot work. He doesn't actually listen to music on headphones. He has a "saiki", a dictionary used to write haiku, attached to the back of his phone. It actually belongs to his father, who lent it to him. He moved on August 17th.
