Appearance

Aster is a young man of about 18 years of age, tall, with a thin build and dark skin. He has tousled white hair with pale blue bangs, a round face covered with freckles, blue eyes that are hidden behind large glasses with gold frames and clear lenses, dark eyebrows shaped like willow leaves hanging above them, short eyelashes, a small curved nose and thin flesh-colored lips. Aster wears a peach shirt, over which he wears a dark blue vest with light blue buttons, two emerald green pockets, and a pattern of yellow stars. A burgundy bow tie is pinned to the collar of the shirt, almost at the neck. On his feet, he wears beige socks with purple stripes, brown boots with buckles, and pants with legs of different lengths and a red belt. Both legs are rolled up, their ends are decorated with dark green inserts with yellow edging. Aster also wears a bracelet of turquoise beads on his left hand.

Aster

Aster is a graduate student and assistant to Professor Stargazer at the Magic College. He is the main antagonist of the third season of the series, attempting to deceive himself into becoming a hero.

Nature

Aster is shown as a hyperbolically sloppy and disorganized character. This feature is reflected in his appearance and behavior, being the basis of the hero's appearance and actions. Aster fears that he does not live up to the expectations of others; he thinks that everyone either avoids him or makes fun of him, which is why he is timid, fearful and nervous. Although Aster can hardly be called withdrawn, he rarely shows up in the company of students and prefers to remain alone or with teachers. Aster is a diligent and friendly young man, he can show care and sympathy, and also worry about the safety of his acquaintances, despite his detachment. When he is put in place of a departed professor, he does not try to be strict, shows loyalty and does not prevent teenagers from leaving the class. However, in reality, all this is just acting and a manifestation of Aster's hypocrisy, because his feigned good nature hides his evil side. The graduate student admires idealized images of powerful magicians and warriors, but he himself is far from ideal. He wants to fix this by any means and finds a way out of the current situation in his own hatred of the Dark fairy tales. He decides to gain fame and recognition from others by inciting a conflict between the Light and the Dark, during which he would be able to expose the Dark as dangerous and evil, and himself as a good hero and savior of the Light. To do this, the graduate student comes up with a special villainous plan that reveals the negative traits of his character. Thus, Aster constantly has difficulties expressing his own thoughts, which is why his words are often mixed up in places, which completely distorts the meaning of sentences. In addition, he can often forget about something important. His hair is disheveled, and in the young man's chambers you can see a pile of all sorts of things. Aster is clumsy and often, when taking on some task, makes many mistakes and damages property.

Power and abilities

Although Aster is a graduate student at the Magic College, he does not use his true magical powers for an unknown reason. However, Aster is an expert in magical artifacts by profession, so he makes up for his lack of powers with his extensive knowledge and magical artifacts. For his plan, he uses a dark magic crystal that can absorb the powers of dark fairy tales and, when filled, redirect them to the holder, thanks to which he gains the ability to cast spells and use the mage's combat form. Also in his chambers there is a telescope with incredible optical power, allowing him to monitor people's actions and eavesdrop on conversations from a distance.

Attitude towards Vlad

Aster sincerely admires Vlad, his history and skills. He sees the physical education teacher as a real hero and wants to be like him: the graduate student tries to listen to his advice, asks to be Vlad's student.

Aster finds advertising intrusive, annoying and useless. Aster has a lot of mugs in his room because he is a coffee lover and often stays up at night. Although Aster is generally shown to be fearful, he is most afraid of ghosts. Their appearance causes the young man to panic. His full name is Asterope.

Vlad

Vladislav Vladimirovich. Age: 17 years Vlad's appearance: He is about the age of a fifteen-year-old teenager (maybe a little older). From the bottom, he has ordinary pants with two belts on the left and one belt on the right. On the belt is a belt with a mount for a sword. He wears dark blue boots with purple laces. From jewelry, he wears earrings in his earlobes, a necklace of chains, and a silver ring on the middle finger of his right hand. Vlad's personality: he doesn't like being called by his real name, "Vladik", in a diminutive and affectionate way. In the second season, it is clear that he has become kinder and has come to terms with the fact that Alenka calls him that. Vlad (Morok) is one of the main characters in the series. Astaire's Attitude to Dark Tales

Aster is prejudiced against the Dark Tales. Due to their multiple atrocities, he believes that they cannot be trusted and that they should not be left in the company of the Light. He is even willing to declare some of them as his enemies in order to fight. Throughout the third season, the graduate student frames the Dark Ones in every way and uses them to obtain dark powers.

Aster's attitude towards the Minor Magic Commission

Aster tries to show respect to his academic advisor and the rest of the teachers, as well as the headmistress. He often carries out their orders and even substitutes when necessary, so that in their eyes he can look like a good-natured slob assistant. However, in reality, he sees the members of the Small Committee as obstacles on the path to becoming a hero. Sometimes he simply ignores their requests and even puts them in danger, and all his help comes only from a desire to divert suspicion from himself.
