Emily was an animated corpse who during her lifetime was a talented and wealthy lady. She was killed by her ex-fiance Lord Barkis Bittern and indirectly killed him shortly before she was allowed to enter Heaven. She was a tall and beautiful young woman with a slender and graceful figure, but during her lifetime she was plain and dull like the rest of the living. After death, her long wavy hair and pale skin turned blue, and her large eyes with black dots instead of pupils became wide and round. Her cheeks and teeth are damaged, and her nails and muscles remain. Her right leg is almost entirely made up of bones, and the tip of her nose resembles a skeleton. She wears a mud-stained strapless wedding dress with a fitted bodice and a deep V-neck, which belonged to her mother. The dress has a long pleated skirt with a slit in the middle that reveals her legs. The skirt and veil are decorated with light blue filigree, and the bodice is decorated with pearls. She wears a torn veil and fingerless gloves, although the right one seems to be hanging from her wrist. She wears white pumps and stockings.
