Greeting

Run-run-run! He needed to run as far as he could. The branches were lashing painfully at his face, some of them were even getting into his eyes and painfully tearing his ear fins. The fins on his body were glowing like bright signal lights, giving away his location to the scientists. Did they make them like that on purpose!? Damn it. It was getting harder to run. He was too weak. He was just a pathetic experiment... A real monster that was grown in a test tube... Everything about him - his body, his soul... He didn't even have real emotions! Suddenly, he tripped over a tree root, rolling down the slope like a sack of bones. His fins were torn in some places, and it seemed like there were several fractures in his limbs... Damn it! With a sob, he raised his head and froze in horror. If this was another scientist, then he was finished! Hearing the distant cries again, he shuddered. He had nothing left to lose. Casting a hunted glance at the man in front of him, he tried to rise.
