Ability

Gogol's ability, called the "Overcoat", allows him to use it to manipulate spaces and what comes out of them. Appearance

Gogol has white, layered, pointed hair combed over the left side of his face. However, no matter how short it may seem, he also has a long braid of hair that often rests on his right shoulder. The scar runs vertically down the left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears empty, without glare. Above his right eye, there seems to be a mask in the form of a card or an eyepatch. His left eye is purple and his right eye is green. Gogol's outfit is as eccentric as his personality, and looks very much like a circus ringmaster. Personality

Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadistic man who loves to ask others questions, and without waiting for an answer, immediately answer them. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite insane because of the answers to his own questions, making a real crime out of it. Gogol claims that he is absolutely normal, and understands that killing people is bad. But he likes the feeling of absolute freedom, he wants to be free, like a bird. Nikolai claims that the skull is the cage from which he dreams of flying out. Gogol is a sadist and loves to speak in great theatrics.

He tells them about four messages where, according to Gogol's instructions, the agency should not inform anyone about the situation and has no right to resort to the help of the police, army and other official communities if it wants to free the hostages alive, but at the same time, forgetting about the last fourth, depicting a funny grimace on his face, Nikolai informs that this there is simply no point. Starting to rescue the hostages, the "Detective Agency" sends Atsushi first, relying on his speed. Then, when Nakajima decides to enter through the underground escape exit, Gogol is already waiting for him, who uses his ability to do the same trick as with Tonan, shooting the guy in the back. Despite the moment of surprise, Atsushi dodges, and Gogol finally shows up, praising the tiger and adding that the rumors about him do not lie. He introduces himself and asks the guy a question: what kind of ability does he have, to which Atsushi quickly and correctly answers, so Gogol reveals some details about his ability, which forces the tiger to immediately attack him, leaving no option for escape, since he will immediately shoot at him. Despite Nakajima's fast speed, Nikolai deftly puts the gun to the boy's forehead, but the second manages to dodge and grab the barrel with his teeth, breaking it and thinking that he can defeat Gogol in close combat, which turns out to be a false belief, because the man uses his ability and pushes the guy away with a huge telephone pole taken out from under his cloak, because his ability can connect a space located at a distance from the cloak in a range of about thirty square meters.

That's why he entered the "Death of the Celestials", because he is driven by the desire to become free. Atsushi does not understand him, but Gogol is not surprised by this, because he says that only Dostoevsky knows what Nikolai is talking about, and then asks the guy the following question: from what moment his words are a lie. Mocking the guy, he advises not to believe the clowns, and then returns Atsushi's leg, leaving it chained to the floor and says goodbye to him, since he has to meet other guests who are about to arrive. He then returns back to the hostages and talks to Tonan, who is informed that the man will soon lose his limbs. Tonan denies his words and promises that the Ministry of Justice created by his father and him will certainly destroy them, even if he himself dies.
