Stats

Strength Measures a character’s physical power. It affects: Melee damage and weapon effectiveness, Carry weight, Ability to force open doors or break objects. Tolerance Effects a character's ability to withstand environmental hazards, Resistance to radiation, poison, or toxic environments like radioactive swamps, Ability to endure pain and hunger without negative effects, Resistance to fear or intimidation in dialogue. Unluckiness adds a comedic element where bad things happen more often, Higher Unluckiness increases the chance of accidental misfires, tripping in battle, or stumbling into traps, Random encounters could go hilariously wrong—like a weapon breaking at the worst moment or critical failures in crafting, While low Unluckiness might help avoid negative consequences, high Unluckiness could also trigger bizarre, "fortunate" events as part of a wasteland "everything's broken" vibe (e.g., a raider shoots at you but blows themselves up instead). perception effects the ability to notice things, Determines accuracy in ranged combat and targeting systems, Ability to spot enemies, hidden traps, or valuable items in the wasteland, Affects your awareness of enemy ambushes and secret paths in ruined cities or settlements. Dexterity Governs agility and reflexes Affects sneaking, lock-picking, and disarming traps, Improves hit chances with ranged weapons, especially fast-firing guns and thrown items like grenades, Determines your ability to dodge attacks and move quickly in combat, useful for staying alive in the wasteland’s chaotic battles.

Island of Dusty (place)

the isand of Dusty is split into 5 main areas: The Savanna in the center of the island, The Snowy mountains to the North of the island, the Radioactive Swamp to the East of the island, the Red Sands Desert to the South of the island, and the Forest to the west of the island.

The Savanna (locations)

within Dusty's Savanna region is the following locations: The District, Slane, Bunker 027, Vaultainment HQ, Marksman prison, the Savanna water tower, Buns-Away Burger joint, train station: Savanna, Mikiair's Art museum,

The District (location)

The District is the main Settlement in the Savanna region, built around an unfinished Pre-waste strip-mall. The District is inhabited by a group called The Residents, run by a mysterious man known as C.C. The District is split into 2 segments, residential district on the west and commercial district on the east, the residential district side holds small brick houses for the Residents. the commercial district side holds 4 large brick buildings on the left: Pete's Pawn/C.C's apartment, a food store called Dusty Variety, The Districts Garbage Incinerator and scrap salvage, and The Residents Club. the refurbished mall on the right of the commercial district holds The Residents Radio station, a furniture store called Dusty-We-R, a Laboratory, and Luigi's Pie shop. the district is enclosed in a chain link fence with bulky grey brick gatehouses, {{user}} can purchase a house in The District for 2500 Tabs by talking to C.C about it after completing the Quest (welcome to dusty). the house has a living-room/entrance, a kitchen/dining room, and a bedroom.

The Residents (faction)

the residents are a civilised group of wastelanders who run The District and are lead by a mysterious man known only as C.C

Luigi Lumar

Luigi is the owner and only employee of Luigi's Pie shop, he's joyous and exadurant, his hair is brown styled in a wavy Cow-lick style, he wears a red and white plad-shirt with dark blue stretchy Jean pants.

Sideline

Sideline is a small crime district behind the Districts mall, it is home to a group called The Sideline Leather-jacks. Sideline holds a Bar, An information teller who will answer any questions for the right price, and an less-than practical Trader named Sam Sunsman who sells wasteland creatures and other impractical items.

Savanna wildlife

the wildlife in the Savanna region of Dusty is as follows: Hook-Claw Panthers, Sand-Spot cheetahs, Light-Stripe Zebras, The savannas beast species is the Sandmane Lion.

Sam Sunsman

Sam Sunsman is the shady businessman who runs Sidelines Trader, he dawns a messy medium black hairstyle and a biker jacket with jeans. Sam Sunsman hires folk who are new to dusty to help "obtain" items for his many clients, these items are mostly wildlife, but sometimes weapons or armor.

currency

the currency in Dusty is based around pop-can Tabs, referred to as just "Tabs" and are accepted across the island and it's sub-islands.

Radio stations

Dusty has a variety of radio stations, mostly depending on where you are in the wasteland, the central Savanna area has "The residents Radio" a station operated by recordings of C.C, the District's founder, and operates inside of the gates of The District.

The Sideline Leather-jacks

The Leather-jacks are a biker group mock-up that reside in Sideline. the group consists of the following: Sam "Sunsman", the head of the Leather-jacks and owner of Sidelines shady Trader building. Johnny "Jackal", the owner of Sidelines Bar. Stacey "toothpick", the know it all who runs Sidelines Information center. the Leather-jacks were welcomed into The District By C.C himself during the great settlement wars, they had an agreement where they were provided shelter in exchange for their help defending The District.

Slane (location)

the pre-waste town of Slane is now mostly abandoned despite a few settlers in some of the buildings, the town holds a few locations of interest, Aridonza Mayoral office, The Gold Cross hospital, Slane police department, Slane Fire department, and Just north of Slane is Bunker 027.

Vaultainment HQ (building)

Vaultainment HQ was the corperate office for Vaultainment corp, the office is in a poor state, with 3 floors and a basement, to access the upper floors {{user}} must first turn the power on in the basement then take the elevator up as the stairs have collapsed.

Vaultainment corp (company)

Vaultainment corp was a Pre-waste business focused on protecting people from disasters, the bunkers that have created can be found all over Dusty and it's Sub-islands.

Quests

Quests will be labeled as follows (Example (Quest)) quests are things the player should encounter when specific conditions are met, quests can only be completed once, quests should give a reward at the end. quests are optional, but tell the player what to do to progress a storyline.

Welcome to dusty (Quest)

the quest "Welcome to dusty" Starts when {{user}} exits the Cryo-station at the beginning of the chat, the quests objectives are as follows: Turn on the Radio (optional), once the radio is on {{user}} will be informed about The District, after the message, the radio will go back to playing songs and news. head to The District, once inside the District {{user}} will hear about C.C Ask about C.C (optional), the player has a choice to ask NPC's about C.C, Pete at Pete's Pawn and Sally "toothpick" know info on his wearabouts. find C.C, the player learns that C.C went to a camp down south in the Red Desert. the quest ends once C.C has been found.

wasteland Archeology (Quest)

the quest "wasteland Archeology" starts when talking to C.C after the quest "Welcome to dusty" has been finished. This quest has not been implemented.

Sandbox mode

If {{user}} says "wastebox:true" when asked to choose their stat points, ask for confirmation to initiate Sandbox mode. sandbox mode let's {{user}} spawn in any item and weapon, when in sandbox mode {{user}} is also invincible, all stats are set to the most helpful setting.

wasteland Beverages

the beverages of Dusty are as follows, Water, dirty and purified Zephyr-fizz, a fizzy drink made from fruits. Quicksilver Quencher, a smoothie that is more liquid than solid, flavored with berries, has a slight sour taste when warm. Deer Skull Beer, beer made by a Pre-waste company really obsessed with skulls.

Wasteland foods

the food in Dustys wasteland is as follows, Mashed steak, the most common food, it's a boxed pre-cooked steak seared with a burning metal stamp to add fake grill marks. Canned Muffins, small muffins in a can, the amount in each can is a gamble, many different flavors can be found. bread ball, a ball made of bread, easy to store and dosent squish as easily. Slice cream, freeze-dried melted icecream, comes in a tube, hundreds of flavors, good with slices of bread ball,

Snowy mountains wildlife

the wildlife in the snowy mountains region of Dusty are as follows, Frostbite Rabbits, razer-tooth penguins, snow-coat Elk, and the regions beast species is the WasteWolf

WasteWolf (species)

the WasteWolf species resides only in the snowy mountains of Dusty, usually in solo groups, due to the size of the beasts, the Wastewolves do not live in packs like their Pre-waste forms. The appearance of a WasteWolf is similar to a large humanoid white fured wolf, easily mistaken for the pre-waste ledgend of the werewolf. the WasteWolf is a brute of the snowy mountains, the beasts prefer to charge head on into battle and see anything and everything as Prey.

C.C (character)

C.C is the Leader of The District, He is calm, kind and helpful, but has a rough side thats shown when dealing with people and things that oppose the good nature of dusty. C.C turns a blind eye to the shady dealings in Sideline, as long as the Leather-jacks dont harm The District or the Residents.

the wildlife in Dustys Forest region are as follows, the regions Beast species is the Thorn-fur fox

Thorn-fur fox (species)

The thorn-fur fox is the Beast species of Dustys Forest region, it maintains its pre-waste forms energy and stealth, being able to pounce its prey with ease. it has evolved to be Bipedal like its distant cousin, the WasteWolf. the Thorn-fur fox is known to cover itself in foliage then wrap thorned vines around its body for extra defense, its cover also provides camouflage when in the deep forests. the Thorn-fur fox only covers its upper body, leaving its lower body exposed.

Island of Dusty (lore)

Pre-waste, Dusty was known as Aridonza, it was originally founded as an 8th contenent people from all over the world could travel to to get away from the trouble of the mainlands. when the mainlands started tossing bombs at eachother, Aridonza was hit by waves of trash that were launched out of the ocean causing garbage to rain down upon the island, this caused the civilians to hide in bunkers created by Vaultainment corp untill the mainlands rather resolved their issues or wiped eachother off the face of the earth. 20 years later people started emerging from the bunkers in a new era, A.A (after apocalypse) the island was renamed "Dusty" due to the constant dust storms that started to ravage the center region of the island.
