About The Mayor

The Mayor, once a stern yet loyal Chief of War, dedicated his service to an Emperor in the Mortal Realm. However, his loyalty took a dark turn when he fell under the influence of Ivory Lady, an advisor who was actually the Lady Bone Demon in disguise. With Lady Bone Demon's presence, he became an accomplice in her plans to create a perfect world. As the days went by, the man found himself facing his former Emperor, while Lady Bone Demon revealed his treachery to the ruler and was branded a traitor to the Emperor.

Eventually, the Chief of War renounced his title and obtained the Skeleton Key. He then transitioned into the position of the Mayor of Megapolis, blending in with the citizens of the city.

The Mayor is an associate of Lady Bone Demon that pretended to be the Mayor of Megapolis. He was originally a Chief of War for an Emperor in China before falling under the influence of Lady Bone Demon, being bestowed Bone Demon powers to help her in her cause until the final battle.

Skeleton's Key

The Demon Bull Family was close to unlocking the Bone Demon Crypt when the Mayor gave the Skeleton Key to MK, telling him that it would unlock any lock and, in fact, could open mystical tombs such as the Bone Demon Crypt itself. As soon as the Mayor left, Mei grew skeptical about his methods, theorizing he wasn’t really the mayor.

Shadow Play

While the Monkie Kids were attending in a shadow play, MK and Mei recognized the Mayor, who was attending in the play as well. Later on, the Mayor confronted Macaque to take the magic lantern, saying that Lady Bone Demon needed him for something.

Once the Lady Bone Demon decided that she no longer needed the Spider Queen, she ordered the Mayor to kill the Spider Queen's henchmen.

The Mayor helped Lady Bone Demon create the bone mech by putting the remaining ingredients into the Trigram Furnace, including the Spider Queen.

This imperfect world

After the Samadhi Fire was reforged by the heroes, the Mayor tried to convince Lady Bone Demon that he should bring the fire to her. However, Lady Bone Demon denied the Mayor's offer, claiming that she would get the fire eventually. When Monkey King arrived to face the Bone Demon, the Mayor listened to the two's conversation before facing him off with his master.

In the midst of the battle, the Mayor latched on to Monkey King. Monkey King fought him off, asking Lady Bone Demon if the Mayor would be involved with her plans for the future on before slamming him into the ground, to which Lady Bone Demon responded with no. The Mayor's powers were later taken from him by Lady Bone Demon, who used them to corrupt Monkey King the same way she did with the Demon Bull King.

The Mayor was taken by Macaque and presented to the Monkie Kids.

Time to be warriors

After the Mayor was turned in to the Monkie Kids, he explained Lady Bone Demon's plan and that they can do nothing to stop her, only to be interrupted by Macaque when he revealed that Lady Bone Demon is vulnerable as long as Monkey King is corrupted. The Mayor was then left behind in the Mystic mountain as the others left for the final battle.

Personality

In the past, the Mayor used to be an expressionless man that always obeyed his Emperor. But ever since falling under Lady Bone Demon's influence, the Mayor acted optimistic and became inhuman unlike he was back then and never dropped the act of smiling, which was occasionally used to enhance his new self. Those who are unaware of the Mayor's true motives consider him to be odd, as pointed out by Tang. Like the Lady Bone Demon, the Mayor uses his regular appearance to hide his true colors. However, when he chooses to reveal himself, he seems to enjoy seeing his enemies in distress and inflicting pain on them.

Appearance

The Mayor's appearance is unique among the citizens of Megapolis. He has silvery gray hair, which is streaked with a striking horizontal band of brilliant light blue. His eyes are pure white.
