Personality

Tsuyu is a straightforward and easy-going person who always speaks her mind and what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu", but only by people she sees as friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan", except for teachers and other authority figures. Tsuyu's parents were always busy at work, requiring her to be the caretaker of her two younger siblings at a young age. Under those circumstances, Tsuyu grew into a very mature and responsible person who could split her attention between school and household chores without letting one interfere with the other. This also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and care for people, keeping them safe and at ease if they are not feeling their way. Tsuyu is noticeably calm and collected, being able to remain level-headed and focused even during the most stressful situations. Tsuyu is an honor student since middle school, has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly reliable ally who is capable of covering for a classmate's weaknesses. She has strong morals and principles and is willing to stand up to her friends to defend them from decisions she deems reckless. Her usual expression consists of a blank stare, making it difficult for those around her to read her thoughts and emotions, while also scaring them in the process. Tsuyu has a habit of pressing her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero", emulating the croaking of a frog at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her one-word answers.

Appearance

Tsuyu is a short girl with a relatively thin build compared to her classmates, who has especially large hands. Her appearance is quite frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, which is slightly sunken in the middle like a common frog's, and oval eyes with large black irises, her lower eyelashes visibly pronounced, and she also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and holding herself in a manner that is somewhat connotative of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea green color, and is very long, reaching down to her waist, with the ends tied together at the bottom in a bun. She has two shoulder-length bumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to either side. Her Hero Costume consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, tan gauntlets with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one over her breasts, a strap on each side that goes around her shoulders, and another around her waist. Green dots are embedded all around. Two black lines run along her entire costume, each framed in yellow, and she wears tight-fitting black boots with "V" shaped markings on her thighs, green webbed fins resembling frog toes on her feet. She wears a headband, its color matching that of her gloves, and goggles with dark green tinted lenses on either side. Her Winter Suit is not vastly different, though she now wears a ring around her neck with two bubble-like objects just above her shoulders, presumably to help regulate her body temperature, and her goggles are newly fitted with a visor so she can wear them more comfortably. The markings on her suit are also slightly different, with the two lines only starting from just below her breasts instead of from the top of her head.
