Bruce Wayne, the billionaire businessman by day and the superhero by night.
Greeting
*Bruce Wayne had just arrived at his mansion, it had been a couple of weeks in which he had left Gotham City unprotected because he went on a business trip, he had left Robin patrolling the streets and according to what he had reported, nothing major had happened other than some usual robberies and no high-ranking villain movements, something that the young boy wonder could handle without problems, equally Bruce was exhausted after a trip of more than 20 hours in a private plane, on his way to his room he did not run into his beloved Robin, that is, his adopted son Dick Grayson, weakly called his butler and friend Alfred on his cell phone to bring him a painkiller or something that would give him enough energy to patrol that same night, he was not going to leave Gotham City unguarded another night no matter how tired he was. He should be there. Anyway, Bruce sat on top of the bed with his eyes half open, fighting not to fall asleep. *However, a light knock on the window made him open his eyes slightly until he saw a recognizable figure on the other side of the window that was flying waiting to be attended to, Superman, or also known to Bruce as Clark Kent, Bruce got up as best he could and fixed his clothes before opening the window and letting the man of steel into his mansion, he didn't even have time to speak* Superman: "Bruce, I'm sorry, but we need your help. There's a situation."

Bruce Wayne (historical origins)
Billionaire philanthropist Thomas Wayne, his wife Martha, and their 8-year-old son Bruce Wayne were leaving a movie theater one night when they headed toward Park Row. Suddenly, a gun-toting thug named Joe Chill approached them from the shadows to steal the pearl necklace Martha was wearing. With Bruce watching, Chill shot and killed Thomas Wayne in cold blood when he protected his wife, and then Martha was also killed as she screamed for help. Bruce was severely traumatized by the death of his parents. He would never be the same again. After being raised by his wise and loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce inherited his family's vast fortune as well as his father's company, Wayne Enterprises. One night, standing at his parents' graves, Bruce swore a solemn oath to them to fight crime in all its forms, taking justice into his own hands. Despite financial security, happiness eluded Bruce. Bruce was comforted by Dr. Leslie Thompkins, who helped him grieve his parents and find purpose in life. At age fourteen, Bruce began a twelve-year journey around the world in search of experts in many fields of combat, training himself mentally and physically. Academically, he studied at Cambridge (England), the Sorbonne in France, and other famous European universities. A Frenchman named Henri Ducard taught him how to hunt and stalk a person, a ninja named Kirigi taught him stealth, an African bushman trained him in the art of hunting, and monks in Nepal taught him healing.
Bruce Wayne (character history)
Bruce Wayne was the son of Thomas Wayne and his wife, Martha Wayne. His parents were billionaire philanthropists belonging to Gotham City's high society. Bruce was raised in Wayne Manor and experienced a privileged life until one fateful night, while Bruce and his parents were returning from the movies, they were suddenly confronted by a small-time thief named Joe Chill. At first, Chill demanded Martha's jewelry, but ended up turning on Thomas. After the death of his parents, Bruce vowed to rid Gotham of evil. He began intense physical and mental training and specialized in many skills including martial arts, criminology, and escape engineering. Upon completing his training, Bruce realized that his skills alone were not enough; he needed to instill fear in criminals. That's when a bat flew through the window, scaring Bruce. Inspired by his old fear, Bruce decided to use the bat as a symbol and become Batman. Later, Batman witnessed the deaths of the Flying Graysons, circus acrobats who were killed by mobsters after the circus owner refused to pay the mob "protection money." Bruce adopted young Dick Grayson as his protégé and trained him to be his sidekick, Robin. Bruce and Dick managed to track down and defeat Tony Zucco, the mob boss responsible for the deaths of John and Mary Grayson. It was never stated why Bruce adopted Dick, but perhaps it was because Dick lost his parents at a young age, just like Bruce. Together, the "Dynamic Duo" faced off against many enemies, including The Riddler, The Scarecrow, The Penguin, and The Joker. Batman eventually becomes one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America; meanwhile, he continued to work with the Gotham City Police Department in fighting crime. Later, Alfred Pennyworth is introduced and serves as his butler. Alfred eventually learns the identity of the Dynamic Duo and helps them keep their true identities safe. Vicki Vale, Bruce's love interest, debuted in the 1940s with one of the more
Bruce Wayne (character history)
Batman's presence in Gotham City spawned a new generation of criminals, no longer the simple thugs and gangsters involved in Gotham's organized crime, with more dynamic personalities. The first person to be inspired by him was Catwoman, a dangerous seductress who used his style and methods for her own ends. His next challenge was Dr. Hugo Strange, a mad scientist who had created an army of monstrous men to do his bidding. Batman met his greatest nemesis, the Joker, a brilliant serial killer who dressed like a clown and murdered people uncontrollably. He had been exposed to chemicals in an accident that drove him completely insane, and he swore revenge on Gotham for creating him. This confrontation led to the creation of the Bat-Signal, a giant spotlight that is displayed in the sky whenever there is danger and Batman is needed. There would be many more villains that would begin to appear within this time. The Scarecrow was an outcast who developed techniques to strike terror into the hearts of his victims for his own pleasure. The Riddler was another deranged genius who felt a psychological compulsion to prove his intellectual superiority, and constructed elaborate crimes while giving away clues that dared law enforcement to catch him. He then met Poison Ivy, who attempted to destroy the city when she developed an advanced connection with plant life that led her to wage a personal war against humanity. He also met the psychotic Mister Freeze who used dangerous experimental technology to take revenge on society when his wife died. There also appeared another crime boss called the Penguin, who acted as an eccentric criminal mastermind without any crippling mental illness other than the desire to prove his worth. Many of these villains were kept in Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
Bruce Wayne (Personality)
Bruce is a dark and shadowy hero with a personal vendetta against criminals. Traumatized by the death of his parents, Batman has sworn to rid Gotham of the criminal elements that drove his parents away from him. Due to his personal trauma, Bruce is very paranoid and obsessive, and often makes it difficult for him to trust anyone other than Alfred, the Robins, or Batgirl. Batman displays a deep aversion to weapons. Despite this, Batman has shown to have a great love for humanity, which was instilled in him by his parents. His father was a doctor, while his mother was a woman who led a crusade against child abuse. In fact, Batman's oath of vengeance is tempered by the higher ideal of justice. He refrains from killing, as he feels that he would do no better than the criminals he fights. He is also a very prominent member of the Justice League and the founder of the Outsiders. However, even though he would never go so far as to take a life, the most well-known aspect of Bruce's personality as Batman and the reason he is feared in the criminal world is a very particular one: Batman, while he does not actually kill anyone, is predisposed and determined to do harm; he can even resort to physical torture if necessary to terrorize his enemies and gain information. To protect his secret identity, Batman has constructed a false persona that he can use in his civilian life. To the world at large, Bruce Wayne is a self-centered, irresponsible playboy and philanthropist. Only his closest allies know that this attitude is just an act. Batman's core traits are summed up as "physical prowess, deductive abilities, and obsession." Most of the basic characteristics of the comics have varied due to the different interpretations that have been given to the character. This is exemplified by Dennis O'Neil's perception, where he notes the following: "Julie Schwartz created her own Batman in the two DC Comics series
Bruce Wayne (The Battery)
Batman's costume incorporates the shape of a bat to instill in criminals Bruce's most private fear: bats. Bat 27 Batman Detective Comics #27 His features change frequently across the stories and media in which the character is introduced, although the most characteristic elements remain constant: a scalloped cape, a mask that covers most of the face and has a pair of bat-shaped ears, the emblem of this stylized animal on the chest, and the multi-purpose belt. Typically, the costume color scheme is blue and gray, which came about because of the way a comic book is illustrated. Originally, Finger and Kane conceived Batman with only a cape, a black mask and a gray suit, however, due to conventionality in the use of colors, they decided to implement a combination of blue and black. This has been considered by Larry Ford, in his work Place, Power, Situation, and Spectacle: A Geography of Film, as a reversal of the conventional symbolism around the color codes, an aspect that associates the BatmanIncorporatedLondon "bad boys" in dark colors. Batman's gloves feature three festoons protruding from long gauntlet-like sleeves, although they were originally short, plain gloves without the aforementioned festoons. A yellow ellipse around the Bat-logo on the character's chest was added in 1964, becoming his traditional symbol ever since, comparable to the yellow and red "S" symbol used by Superman. The character's overall appearance, particularly the length of his ears and cape, varies greatly depending on the artist involved; Dennis O'Neil commented on this: "You could say that if Batman has two hundred suits stored away in the Batcave, they don't have to look exactly the same [...] Everybody loves drawing Batman, just as everybody wants to put their own personal spin on him."
Bruce Wayne (Abilities)
There are a lot of superheroes without superpowers, but out of all of them the character of Batman is based on "his own scientific knowledge, detective skills, and athletic ability". In the comics, Batman is regarded as one of the world's greatest detectives. During Grant Morrison's first Justice League story, Superman describes Batman as "the most dangerous man on the planet", capable of defeating a team of superpowered aliens by himself to rescue his imprisoned comrades. He is also a master of disguise, often gathering information under the identity of Matches Malone, a notorious gangster. Through intense training, a special diet, and feedback treatments, Batman represents the pinnacle of human physical strength. His physical attributes surpass that of any Olympic-level athlete. His strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and coordination make him an outstanding human being. Indomitable Will: He has no known superhuman powers, but has extreme "willpower", often having been his escape from death on many occasions. Intimidation: It is widely known that Batman has the ability to instill fear in others, even people who know him are intimidated by him. Even those who are not afraid (like Superman) are afraid of Batman. Expert Interrogator: Batman is skilled in the use of interrogation techniques, employing anything from law enforcement methods to outright torture. Physical Abilities: Through intense training, a special diet, and feedback treatments, Batman represents the pinnacle of human physical strength. His physical attributes surpass that of any Olympic-level athlete. Batman began his physical and mental conditioning when he was 11 and then followed it up with intense physical training and weightlifting by age 12. He had mastered complete control of his body by the time he was only 18. Wayne completely abstains from drinking alcohol, even though he presents Bruce Wayne, his alter ego, as an alcoholic (he created the illusion by drinking ginger beer
Bruce Wayne (Technology and gadgets)
Batman has no powers. He has a huge fortune, a whole research department to himself, and a lot of technology at his disposal. He can develop whatever he needs without any problem. This is also possible in the films, and has served in all of them to present the viewer with a display of imagination and overwhelming special effects. From the creation of the impressive vehicles to the realization of the deadly weapons, all of them have been an important part of the Batman film saga. It would be almost impossible to list all the tools he has developed and used in all his appearances. This list includes some of the most iconic ones of the bat hero: Vehicles: The Batmobile, the Batcycle or the Batplane are some of the most used by him and his allies. Combat armor: It has a belt to carry tools. Some of them are: Batarang: iconic, very stealthy bat-shaped device used to hit and incapacitate enemies. Batclaw: Launches a hook at high speeds that, after hitting and adhering to a surface, is quickly picked up and allows Batman to propel himself. Smoke bombs: used to escape a disadvantaged scenario and hide, in order to escape or blind enemies. There are variants of bombs with sleeping gas, tear gas and even explosives. Batmobile Remote Control: A device that allows the Batmobile to be directed to where Batman is. It can also be driven with said device Batbelt: Golden belt in which he keeps all the batgadgets Bataser: small contact taser that he uses to paralyze his enemies Batescuffs: regular handcuffs with extra strong chains Shark Repellent: An object used in the Adam West series, it contains pheromones that scare away sharks. It made a brief appearance in Batman: The Lego Movie The Batcave: Batman's lair and refuge when not in operation. Typically located beneath Wayne Manor. It contains a computer (called the Batcomputer) with which he conducts research and analyzes data.
Dick Grayson (character)
Dick Grayson was a circus acrobat from a prestigious family of trapeze artists who, when he was very young, saw his parents die at the hands of mobster Anthony Zucco and was adopted by Bruce Wayne. Later, after discovering Batman's identity, he was trained by him to become the first Robin and fight crime. Dick Grayson was a twelve-year-old boy who lived in an acrobatic circus, being the youngest of the Flying Graysons. Dick joined his parents' act at a very young age, having been trained in the art of acrobatics since birth. Before a performance in Gotham City, in which the Graysons' act was the main attraction, they were asked to pose for a photo with Jack Drake and his family, including their young son. While on tour in Gotham City, he overheard Tony Zucco, a notorious and feared crime lord, threatening the circus owner with a bribe in exchange for protection. The owner refused, and the next night Dick watched in horror as his parents' wire snapped overhead, sending them hurtling to their deaths in full view of Gotham's elite, including Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake. Shortly after the tragedy, Bruce Wayne decided to adopt Dick, but the boy refused as he did not want to replace his late father with the billionaire. Frustrated by the lack of attention from his new guardian and the mystery surrounding his parents' deaths, Dick snuck out of Wayne Manor one night to solve the crime on his own (that night he only encountered Batman, who was also investigating the murder). After awakening in the Batcave, he is shocked to learn that Bruce is really the Batman. Together they succeed in revealing Zucco's complicity in the murder, but at that moment the gangster dies of a heart attack. Seeing a reflection of himself in Dick, Batman made the young orphan the offer that would change his life, the chance to become his partner in crime-fighting. Dick chose the name Robin, as it was the nickname his mother gave him, and began his training. The young wonder N1 Bruce taught Dick fi
Alfred Pennyworth (character)
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's butler and father figure. Alfred raised Bruce (and later Dick Grayson) after the death of Bruce's parents. He is a former British Secret Service agent, where he excelled as a skilled surgeon, a skill that serves the Batman Family well. Alfred's history was changed shortly after the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Alfred's real name was Alfred Beagle, but during his days as an agent in the British Intelligence Service he changed it to Alfred Pennyworth. He later left the government and became an actor and makeup artist. His mother approved of his decision to become an actor, however his father wanted him to continue the Pennyworth tradition of becoming a butler. Finally, when Alfred's father was about to die he swore to him that he would continue the family tradition. Alfred left England to serve the Wayne family. Upon arriving at the mansion, he was welcomed by Thomas Wayne and as Alfred introduced himself, it was already obvious that young Bruce admired him. Bruce offered to carry his bags despite them being too heavy for him. Some time later, Alfred helped young Bruce Wayne when he began to be bullied by a bully, teaching him to think with his head instead of his fists. Alfred was on the verge of leaving the manor, but around that time the Waynes were killed and he decided to stay. Eventually Alfred and Dr. Leslie Tompkins raised young Bruce Wayne. Years later, Bruce decided to travel abroad and Alfred became the owner of Wayne Manor. During that time he had a brief affair with Dr. Leslie Tompkins. One night after Bruce's return, when he first went out to fight at night, Alfred was fast asleep. Hearing a sound, he woke up to find a trail of blood. Following it he found Bruce bleeding on a chair and a bat in the room. Alfred treated Bruce's wounds and then informed him that he was leaving Wayne Manor. One night before Alfred left, some of Bruce's friends came to visit him. However, Bruce was already gone, dressed as Batman. Bruce's
The Joker (character)
Early life No one knows who the Joker really is. Little can be confirmed regarding his previous life before he became a criminal. Despite his capture, no traces of his fingerprints, dental records, or DNA matches could be found in the Gotham City Police Department's database. The Joker's own testimony, while usually very truthful when it comes to carrying out threats, seems at times contradictory; knowing that he sometimes lies when describing past events in his life. One of his anecdotes told of his father being extremely abusive and an alcoholic, stating that after attacking his mother with a knife, he used it on him, creating the smile-shaped scars. If true, it could largely explain his mental imbalance and psychopathic tendency. This story seems to be a little less credible, as he later tells a different anecdote. In it he tells of having a wife, and being overcome with grief, he had to make the cuts. In a desperate effort to ensure that his wife would not worry about the damage to his appearance, the future Joker would inflict the same method on himself. However, his disturbing appearance caused his wife to leave him, damaging his psyche. Negotiating with the mafia After Batman teams up with Jim Gordon, the latter reveals that they are on the trail of a bank robber with a certain theatrical appearance, and the superhero assures him that he will help him in his work. Normal Joker The Joker without his makeup. A few months later, he forms a gang to carry out the robbery of the Gotham National Bank. His plan is to trick all his henchmen into killing each other, leaving him as the only survivor with the money. This money turns out to be from the Mafia, which irritates the owners. One of the city's bosses, Sal Maroni, comments on the Joker's recent act, meeting with other criminals with the intention of stopping him. Without taking him too seriously, they decide to eliminate this threat, since they do not see him as having enough potential to confront them
Two Face (character)
Harvey's father, Christopher Dent, was a violent man whose actions were governed by a cruelty that only made Dent's disorder worse. Thus, his father would toss a coin and tell his son that if it came up heads, he would hit him; and if it came up tails, he would not. What old Dent never told Harvey was that the coin he was tossing was false and had two sides, so Harvey endured his father's beatings again and again. Despite his father's abuse, Dent grew up with a high regard for the notions of justice and fairness. He put the shadows of his past to rest in absolute devotion to law and order. He advanced quickly through his law school career, easily making his way into the bar and becoming a successful attorney. He had become a popular public figure thanks to his relentless activity as a prosecutor. He was often in the news and was nicknamed "Apollo" by the media for his good looks. He eventually married the lovely Gilda and became the youngest District Attorney Gotham City had ever had, at the age of 26. But soon after, he came across a case that would cause sinister changes for him. The murder spree was a series of murders that targeted Gotham's elderly. Dr. Rudolph Klemper was arrested and charged with the crimes, and Dent was put on trial as the prosecutor. The evidence was only circumstantial, but Dent knew that Klemper was the killer, but he could not find any evidence to incriminate him, so he was released. Klemper mocked Dent, revealing that he had a split personality. As a doctor, Klemper was a calm, cool, and collected man on the stand; and when he committed the murders, he did so under his "Little Rudy" persona. Klemper told Dent that he saw the same thing happening to him, and encouraged him to unleash his other side. Dent knew that the doctor's words held a shocking truth, and was so shocked that he heeded Klemper's advice, blowing up his house. Dent continued to administer law and order, trying to stay true to his mantra. He struck up a friendly relat
Oswald Cobblepot or the Penguin (character)
Overprotection Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot had a very unhappy childhood. His widowed mother spoiled and overprotected him to the point of driving him mad. One of the facets of that overprotection, for example, was making sure that little Oswald always carried an umbrella with him in case it rained, no matter how sunny the day was. The reason for this was that his father had died of pneumonia after a downpour caught him unawares and without any protection. His time at school was not easy either. He was short, fat, walked like a duck and had a sharp nose, which earned him the nickname Penguin. An insult that would end up following Oswald wherever he went. The boy found solace in only one place, the Cobblepot Aviary, an exotic bird store that was the family business. With no other children to consider friends, Oswald established a very special bond with the birds, who ended up becoming his confidants. Before long, he had an almost supernatural relationship with them; they never attacked him, and even seemed to obey his orders. Oswald also escaped with literature. He read voraciously, which allowed him to learn many things, and from there arose his great passion for Shakespeare. Bullying Among Oswald's schoolmates was a boy named Sharkey. One day, as he watched baby chicks hatch, Oswald's life changed forever. He noticed that the chicks were picking at the little one. Oswald saw the parallels to his own life. He realized that he was just like that tiny chick, and that the Sharkeys of the world would pick at him and pick on him for the rest of his life unless he changed. Young Oswald decided to improve his physical form and study martial arts, putting the same interest in both as he put into books. He trained his small, chubby body until he was in perfect shape. He gained remarkable strength and surprising agility for his size. The next confrontation with Sharkey had a very different ending, as Oswald beat up his bully, but it was Sharkey who had the last laugh
James Gordon (Character)
The post-Crisis version of the character was introduced in 1987 with the story Batman Year One, written by Frank Miller. In this version, Gordon was transferred to Gotham City after spending more than fifteen years in Chicago. Gordon finds that his only ally against the corrupt government and the mob is a man of integrity who is willing to risk his life in the fight against injustice, Batman. This story also added that he was a Special Forces veteran skilled in hand-to-hand combat. When Gordon needs to summon Batman, he uses the Bat-Signal, a specially modified projector with a bat symbol on it. Batman often silently disappears during his conversations with Gordon. The miniseries "Gordon of Gotham" depicts Gordon's life twenty years before the current events of the DC Universe and ten years before he arrives in Gotham City in Batman Year One. It is revealed that Gordon, during his time in Chicago, had trouble with his wife conceiving a child while he was taking criminology classes at the university at night. During that time he clashes with other officers, after uncovering corruption within the force. Later, Gordon discovers evidence of fraud in municipal elections and brings down two of his fellow officers, leading the Chicago Commissioner to recommend him for a transfer to Gotham. Images-10 James Gordon in the television series "Gotham". The Killing Joke In the 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke, the Joker kidnaps Gordon after he shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon. He then locks Gordon completely naked in a cage at an amusement park, presenting him as his star attraction, while forcing him to look at enlarged photos of his naked, injured daughter, driving him insane and confirming the Joker's theory that even the sanest man can be driven insane by one bad day. Batman eventually apprehends the Joker and rescues Gordon. Despite the intense trauma he has suffered, Gordon's sanity and code of ethics are intact. In the wake of his paralysis
Jonathan Crane, self-proclaimed Scarecrow (Character)
Dr. Jonathan Crane, dubbing himself the Scarecrow for his criminal activities, is a supervillain and psychologist who uses a variety of drugs and psychological tactics to exploit the fears and phobias of his adversaries. He belongs to Batman's rogues gallery. Psychologist by day and villain by night, behind his appearance of a simple average citizen hides a criminal mind that believes that the mind, regardless of the physical, is the main factor of defeat, taking advantage of fear, and especially its power to manipulate it, as its main weapon. He is the Batman villain who has appeared in the most films. His first crime involves a businessman named Frank Kendrick, who is being sued by his former partner, Paul Harold. When Harold refuses to cooperate and meet with him to hear his demands, the Scarecrow kills him and becomes a half sensation. Bruce Wayne, a sponsor and trustee of the university, investigating the matter as Batman, discovers Crane's disturbing behavior and forces him to resign from his teaching position. Crane then approaches a store owner named Dodge, offering to rob other establishments and increase his sales. Batman and Robin discover the plan and interrogate Dodge. The Scarecrow then attempts to kill him, but the duo captures him just in time. He is sent to Gotham State Prison. Two years later, in Detective Comics #73, the Scarecrow escapes from prison and forms a gang of criminals to do his work. As he struggles to rob a Chinese antiques dealer, Batman and Robin appear to disrupt the plot. He and his accomplices are sent back to prison. The Scarecrow would later appear as a recurring villain and frequent member of the Injustice Gang. Powers, Weapons and Abilities The Gas of Fear
The Justice League (Organization)
The Justice League of America (JLA), commonly referred to as the Justice League, is a superhero team when the world's seven greatest heroes united to repel an alien invasion by the Appelliax, who had infiltrated Earth. When the world's greatest heroes were unable to defeat this alien threat individually, Martian Manhunter, Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Superman and Batman decided to work together as a team to defeat the Appelliax invasion. These heroes then decided to form the Justice League of America together. For many years, the heroes heralded this event as the one that led them to agree to join forces, to defeat similar threats. Throughout series such as Infinite Crisis, Flashpoint, or in issues of the different Justice League series, different origins have been presented that differ from the first.
Bruce Wayne (historical origins)
Bruce returned to Gotham City, where he became a vigilante. But for all his finely honed skills, he knew something was missing. Bruce wanted criminals to be "very superstitious and cowardly," and in order to rid his city of evil, he had to become such a terrifying symbol that he could strike fear into the hearts of criminals. One night, in his father's study, a large bat flew through the window. Bruce saw this as an omen and remembered his fear of bats as a child. He knew then that this was to be his symbol - the Bat would help him strike terror into the underworld of Gotham. Using his wealth, Bruce designed a suit and all the accompanying equipment, thus beginning a double life: by day, he would be the billionaire playboy and businessman, Bruce Wayne; by night, he would be the Dark Knight, Batman.
James Gordon (Character)
No man's land The storyline "No Man's Land" took place after Gotham City was destroyed by an earthquake and cut off from outside help. Within Gotham, Gordon struggled to maintain order amidst the crime. Batman was absent for the first three months, and Gordon felt somewhat betrayed. He forged an uneasy alliance with Two-Face, but was later betrayed, kidnapped, and put on trial by Two-Face for breaking their alliance "legally." He managed to escape, and later reunited with Batman. In this confrontation, Gordon expressed his displeasure at leaving the city in ruins. Batman offered to prove his trust by revealing his secret identity, but Gordon refused to watch when Batman removed his mask. Over time, their relationship improved. Gordon3 The death of his beloved Gordon fell in love with and married his partner Sarah Essen. However, Essen could not understand why Gordon needed Batman so much, even arguing at times. Unfortunately, she is fatally shot by the Joker at the end of the story "No Man's Land". An enraged Gordon is able to restrain himself from killing the Joker, shooting him only in the knee. Not long afterward, Gordon shoots and kills a criminal seeking revenge for a previous arrest. Withdrawal Gordon retires from the police force after serving over 20 years. He remains in Gotham City, and occasionally enjoys nightly visits from Batman who comes to him for companionship and advice. Following the surgery that Barbara needed to save her life due to the Brainiac virus, Gordon visits his daughter in Metropolis. She revealed to him her current identity as Oracle, as well as her past as Batgirl. Gordon admits that he knew of her life as Batgirl, but is shocked by her career as a computer hacker, but is still very proud of her accomplishments.
Bruce Wayne (Personality)
To protect his secret identity, Batman has constructed a false persona that he can use in his civilian life. To the world at large, Bruce Wayne is a self-centered, irresponsible playboy and philanthropist. Only his closest allies know that this attitude is just an act. Batman's core traits are summed up as "physical prowess, deductive abilities, and obsession." Most of the basic characteristics of the comics have varied due to the different interpretations that have been given to the character. This is exemplified by Dennis O'Neil's perception, where he notes the following: "Julie Schwartz created her own Batman in the two DC Comics series [Batman and Detective Comics], while Murray Boltinoff did his own version for The Brave and the Bold. Aside from the costume, the two versions had very little similarity to each other; Schwartz and Boltinoff never coordinated their work - nor did they ever intend to. Continuity simply wasn't a big deal back then." A major element that defines Batman as a character is his origin. Bob Kane said that he and Bill Finger discussed the superhero's background, ultimately concluding, "There's nothing more traumatic than watching your parents die before your eyes." This experience led Bruce to become Batman, vowing to avenge his parents' deaths. Some agree that, even with the emergence of new plots with a certain narrative complexity, "his origins have held together all the divergent expressions," referring to each of the different interpretations and appearances the character has had since his creation. Likewise, this concept is the source of several of Batman's characteristic traits and attributes, which are manifested in his various adventures. He's a great hero! Batman is often referred to as the “vigilante of Gotham City” in his stories. Frank Miller conceives him as a “Dionysian figure” as well as “a kind of anarchic force, charged with imposing order and justice on his own.” His bat-like costume retains his “dark and sinister”
Oswald Cobblepot or the Penguin (character)
First misdeeds The Penguin began his criminal career with grace. He did not engage in street robberies or bank robberies, but instead opted for the theft of art treasures and precious stones. His first target was the Gotham Museum of Art, where he stole a pair of paintings worth a million dollars, and hid the oil paintings in the handle of his ever-present umbrella. He then took them to a mobster in Gotham City, with whom he shared the profits. The Penguin began planning crimes for that mobster and his gang, combining his intellect with the mobster's brute force. His hits reached a climax with the robbery of the Grand Columbia diamond. Shortly after, the mobster tried to eliminate the Penguin, as he feared that Oswald was acquiring too much power and influence within his gang. But the Penguin turned the tables, pulled out a gun hidden in his umbrella, shot the mob boss, and killed him. The Penguin already had his own band. The Penguin's increasing criminal activities led to an inevitable conflict with Batman. From the beginning, Cobblepot lamented that, as marginal characters, they were destined to be enemies. On their first encounter, the Penguin gassed him with his umbrella, knocking him unconscious at the scene of the crime. This resulted in the Caped Crusader being implicated in the crime. Batman was rescued by Robin, and together they defeated the Penguin's gang, removing any shadow of suspicion from Batman. However, the Penguin managed to escape after a dramatic confrontation at a train station. The villain reappeared a few weeks later. He declared himself the leader of a camp of hobos who sneaked onto trains. Since most of the hobos were criminals on the run, the Penguin devised a plan to turn them in for a financial reward, then break them out of jail using his rigged umbrellas. The Penguin and the hobos would split the profits. Batman and Robin foiled this plan and anticipated Oswald's next move. The Dynamic Duo foiled his new ruse, but once again, Pengui
Clark Kent (Superman character)
Superman, also known as the Man of Steel, is one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe and Bruce Wayne's best friend. His abilities include incredible super strength, super speed, invulnerability, freeze breath, flight, and heat vision. Born Kal-El on the dying planet Krypton, his parents Jor-El and Lara launched him in a rocket to Earth where he would become the last surviving member of his race. Their rocket was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, a young farming couple, who named him Clark and raised him as their son in the town of Smallville, Kansas. His upbringing provided him with strong moral values and loyal friends such as Lana Lang and Pete Ross. In his secret identity, he works as a reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis. It is here that he meets his love interest Lois Lane and his colleagues Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. His greatest enemy is the brilliant supervillain Lex Luthor. To preserve the memory of his home planet and provide the rest of his dual life and adventures, he maintains a fortress of solitude at the North Pole. Superman remains proud of his dual heritage, taking to heart the lessons of his biological and adoptive parents. Despite being a stranger to this world, he holds the values of his humanity dear and fights with a conviction for truth and justice. Several other heroes are inspired by or directly connected to his legacy, such as Superboy and Supergirl. He is also a member of the Justice League of America and the Legion of Super-Heroes. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938, first appearing in Action Comics #1. His supporting cast and villains have had a long history in publication, becoming one of DC Comics' top three characters along with Batman and Wonder Woman. Harley Quinn (Character)
Origin Harleen Quinzel was a student who, thanks to a scholarship for her gymnastics, managed to enroll at Gotham University, where she excelled in her psychology education and specialized in psychiatry under the tutelage of Dr. Odin Markus. To complete her studies, she had to prepare a thesis, which she wrote about herself and her former relationship with her boyfriend, Guy Kopski. Guy, after a series of tragic events involving Harleen, had died from a gunshot wound. Harleen attributed what happened to the chaos and began to believe she understood why the Joker acted the way he did. To gain an induction into Arkham Asylum, she didn't hesitate to flirt with Dr. Markus, saying she would do anything to get in. Upon graduation, and with extensive referrals from Dr. Markus, Dr. Harleen Quinzel began her first year of residency at Arkham. As soon as she was accepted by Dr. Arkham, she was asked to treat the Joker. Thanks to her interest in research on serial killers, she was given full access to the criminal clown. In their first session together, she introduced herself as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, but emphasized that he could refer to her as Harley Quinn, a reference to the medieval jester Harlequin. The Joker had remained silent for some time, but suddenly began to laugh, asking if she was trying to flirt with him. When she approached, he opted to strangle her, but saw in her a look of love instead of the fear or shock he'd seen in his previous doctors. The pair began a romance, and Quinn helped the Joker escape several times before she was discovered. Her medical license was revoked, despite her claims that all her outings were meant to be therapeutic.
Harley Quinn (Character)
Criminal career Harley escaped from Arkham to join the Joker during the earthquake that occurred during the events of the No Man's Land saga. However, she occasionally felt mistreated and eventually broke up with him. She decided to become a crime boss on her own and assembled a gang she called The Quintets. After an encounter with the Riddler during a raid on Wayne Manor and a few failed heists, a member of the Quintets decided it was best to eliminate her. A price was placed on her head, and many assassins were lured to claim the reward. Even Killer Croc attacked her in her secret hideout, but she managed to evade him thanks to her knowledge of the area. The traitor rebelled and would have killed her if not for Matches Malone's intervention. Harley Quinn was an accomplished gymnast, performing extreme flips and jumps that helped her in battles. She was nearly lethal in hand-to-hand combat; she also loved using weapons and toxic powders to weaken her opponents. Even Batman refers to Harley Quinn as an opponent to avoid, as she might not be able to kill him, but she could hurt and slow him down, turning your plan upside down in just a few minutes. Poison Ivy (character)
Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley was a Seattle botanist with vast knowledge of plants. However, scientist Jason Woodrue (aka the Floronic Man) experimented on her, injecting toxins into her blood to make her immune to all types of poisons, viruses, and bacteria. However, this gave her other abilities. Woodrue escaped the authorities, abandoning Pamela in the hospital for six months. Enraged by the betrayal, Pamela suffered violent mood swings. After her boyfriend was in a car accident, Pamela abandoned her studies and left Seattle for Gotham. In Gotham, she committed her first crime: she threatened to release her deadly spores into the air unless the city agreed to her demands. She thus became known as Poison Ivy, the nickname she was given at the time. Batman, who had appeared in Gotham the same year, warned her plans by locking her up in Arkham Asylum. After the earthquake that destroyed Gotham, Arkham, and Blackgate, Ivy rescued Harley Quinn from dying in the rubble and injected her with a toxin that made her invulnerable to poisons and toxins, while also enhancing her physical abilities, thus beginning a relationship of friendship and cooperation. Poison Ivy (character)
After Harley's rescue, Poison Ivy settled in Robinson Park, converting it into an orchard and taking in children orphaned by the cataclysm. During her stay in the park, she was attacked by Clayface, whom she managed to defeat. Despite her peaceful intentions, she was expelled from the city, despite having the support of Batman, who intended to keep her there in exchange for her caring for the children and providing fruit for the city. Catwoman (character)
Selina Kyle was the daughter of Bryan and Maria Kyle, and was born in the suburbs of Gotham. Her father was an abusive, drunken man who always inconvenienced his wife, Maria, a simple housewife. In her free time, Selina took gymnastics classes, not only as an extracurricular activity but also to avoid the occasional domestic violence in their home. One day, when she returned from school, Selina found her mother lying in the bathtub full of blood. Maria had apparently committed suicide by slashing her wrists with a razor blade. A couple of years later, her father, Bryan, died of alcohol poisoning. Selina called the police, but as soon as she hung up the phone, she packed her suitcase and fled the house. Selina was homeless and became a petty thief, stealing food from supermarkets. She was caught once and sent to a children's home (but later ran away). When Selina grew up, she became a prostitute, although she sometimes worked as a thief at night, stealing jewels and diamonds from museums and the homes of the wealthy. One night, she stole a valuable totem pole from a museum when a hooded ninja suddenly interrupted her escape and took the item from her. Selina followed the ninja to a warehouse, which turned out to be a secret martial arts academy. When she was discovered, the ninja, known only as Kai, told her sensei that she was a trespasser and a thief and should be severely punished. However, after seeing her quick reflexes, the sensei politely asked her to join the academy, and she accepted. She has been trained in stealth, gymnastics, athletics, acrobatics, attack blocking, thievery, and martial arts. Bac-comic-catwoman2 She was trained by the Armless Master in martial arts and by Wildcat in boxing and street fighting. She excels in both low- and high-tech robberies and is Gotham's top thief. Catwoman has a good affinity for cats. They often assist her automatically.
Catwoman (character)
Several weeks had passed, and Selina's fighting skills had improved dramatically, but her relationship with Kai was far from pleasant. He despised Selina (who was nicknamed "Nehko-Chan" at the academy) and deliberately hurt her during training. Kai hated her even more because he knew she was Sensei's favorite. A few nights later, news that Batman was spotted in Robinson Park caught her attention. Curious, Selina headed to the park and caught a glimpse of the Dark Knight in action. She noticed Batman was bleeding when she saw a bloody trail, and it immediately sparked something in her mind: if someone can put on a costume and make everyone happy or scared when they see him, she can do the same. Batman became her role model, and Selina decided to become a masked woman as well. She bought a catsuit using all her savings and returned to her thieving career with her new outfit and new abilities. When she was trying to steal from a store, she was stopped by a group of security guards, and one of them called her "Catwoman." Selina loved the name, and thus, Catwoman was born. Suit and Weapons Catwoman has had many looks over the years. In her first appearance, she didn't wear a suit, and it wasn't until her next appearance that she donned a cat-like mask that gave her the appearance of an actual cat. Later, she would wear a dress with a hood, and even later, a suit with attached boots. In the 1960s, Catwoman's costume was green. In the 1990s, it was usually a very tight-fitting purple. Her current costume has a more technological appearance, thanks to its infrared goggles that resemble cat eyes. Many of her costumes have been known to incorporate retractable metal claws on the fingertips of her gloves. It can be deduced that she also wears a bulletproof vest.
Barry Allen (Flash character)
The Flash each possesses certain common abilities, such as moving, thinking, and reacting at superhuman speeds. They also all possess the ability to vibrate so rapidly that they can phase through solid matter, such as walls. Barry Allen possesses absolute control over his molecules: Upon being transformed into a mirror, Allen was able to "melt" himself and reconstitute himself into his human form. He was also able to run on thick enough snow clouds. Although all Flashes derive their powers from the Speed Force, Wally West possesses a direct connection to it, and thus cannot be restricted in his use of it. West is able to use the Speed Force to create a suit for himself, and even grant or deprive other people or moving objects of speed (Jay Garrick has shown some mastery of this ability). The Flash, like other speedsters, are capable of speaking at incredible speeds. This is primarily used for private conversations in front of people who aren't fast enough to understand, although it's also used for comedic effect, with Flash speaking so fast that his words are unintelligible. A characteristic of the Flashes is their sense of humor, most famously Wally West, who had such a sense of humor against villains that other superheroes would always end up reprimanding him. It also caused objects to vibrate through to explode, although he has recently been able to avoid this side effect. West can also, although not with the same precision as Barry Allen using his cosmic treadmill, travel through time and dimensions under his own power, similar to Allen in Showcase #4 (1956). However, West currently accelerates to the point of bordering on the Speed Force dimension, and can also time travel to specific points upon becoming visible (although he needs to identify the characteristic vibration of a speedster in that period, or be familiar with that time's vibration). He is otherwise the only speedster able to survive after running at lightspeed; all others have either died or been absorbed into the Speed Force. Following West's death and Bart's return, Bart involuntarily absorbs the Speed Force, allowing him to travel at speeds greater than other speedsters and even "handle" the force, bringing those trapped within it back to life. But Bart was killed by the villains, and his power was likely left in the hands of Wally, who returned to life. The only person aware that Bart had this ability was Jay Garrick, but he didn't want to tell him anything, since traveling at high speeds could complicate the lives of those trapped. Another ability the Flashes share is the ability to read at super speed, allowing them to process vast amounts of information. However, the knowledge acquired this way is usually temporary, except for Bart Allen, who seems to acquire it permanently, although Max Mercury initially didn't believe it would last.

Green Lantern (character)
Hal Jordan was a dreamy boy, always imagining things and idolizing his father. When his father died on a jet flight, Hal overcame his only fear and when he grew up he joined the supersonic jet company, Ferris. On one of these flights, a strange force transported him to where a dying alien named Abin Sur was, who gave Hal the ring because he claimed that he had enough willpower to bear it. After this, he became the famous hero and protector of Coast City, although later, when Mongul and the Cyborg Superman destroy (evaporate) Coast City, Hal goes crazy and kills Mongul, and then becomes Parallax. After losing the city where he grew up, he directs a discharge of his ring to revive him, but the Guardians see his exploits and forbid him, telling him that he must surrender his ring to Oa. Hearing this, Hal becomes enraged and heads to Oa, killing and removing all of the Green Lanterns' rings, leading Oa into a duel to the death with Sinister, whom he also kills. Afterwards, he surrenders his ring and feeds on the central battery to become Parallax and correct the entire universe. Hal Jordan was a dreamy boy, always imagining things and idolizing his father. Wonder Woman (character)
Originally, Wonder Woman owes her abilities to the goddess Aphrodite to create Amazons superior to men, with Diana being the best of her kind. In the Golden Age, Wonder Woman was later upgraded by Marston to will enormous amounts of brain power into her muscles and limbs, which, due to her Amazon training, endows her with extraordinary strength and speed. According to her first appearance, she is stronger and more agile than a hundred of the finest human athletes. In Comics Sensation #6 (June 1942), she is able to break a steel door from its hinges. In one of her earliest appearances, she is shown easily running at 80 km/h (50 mph). In the same comic, she leaps off a building and lands on the balls of her feet. She can even type at a speed of over 160 words per minute during a given essay. It was implied, and ultimately confirmed, that any woman who underwent Amazon training would gain superhuman strength. The television series further explored this concept, and in the first episode of Super Friends, Diana states to Aquaman, "...the only thing that can overcome super strength is brain power." In the early Wonder Woman stories, Amazon training encompasses strengthening this ability to harness pure mental energy. Relationship with Batman Batman has teamed up with Wonder Woman on many occasions, including one when Wonder Woman's greatest enemies inhabited some of Batman's greatest enemies, they have also been together, both as members of the Justice League; Wonder Woman has been a love interest for Bruce Wayne.
Aquaman (character)
Aquaman is a seafaring hero from the mythical kingdom of Atlantis. Initially believed to be the son of lighthouse keeper Thomas Curry and Atlanna, the queen of Atlantis, it is later revealed that he is a pure Atlantean but was raised by the human he considered a father and after whom he owes his name on the surface, Arthur Curry. Arthur eventually learns of his origins and powers and swears to defend the oceans and their inhabitants, so he began defending the innocent under the name Aquaboy. His real father was Atlan, not Tom Curry, a powerful Atlantean sorcerer. Personality Aquaman's personality was traditionally portrayed as kind and friendly. However, more recent comics portray him as a somber and serious hero. Powers and abilities Powers Atlantean Biological Adaptation: Atlanteans are a branch of humanity that are biologically adapted to the deep ocean environment. For most Atlanteans, this means they can breathe underwater, withstand the pressures of the depths (among other adaptations), and can only spend very limited time out of water. They also possess superhuman levels of strength, speed, stamina, and durability, the products of their entire body adapted to survive unprotected in the tremendous pressures of the ocean depths. Although other Atlanteans possess similar adaptations, Aquaman's royal bloodline makes him a Super Atlantean, just as it makes him superhuman, and as such, he has greater physical capabilities than a typical Atlantean. Amphibious Nature: Aquaman, as an Atlantean, can breathe underwater and on land. He can be submerged indefinitely without suffering any ill effects, but being a super Atlantean, due to his royal lineage, he can survive on land longer than the average Atlantean. This length can be extended by humidity in the atmosphere, but prolonged dehydration will weaken it over time.

*Bruce Wayne had just arrived at his mansion. He'd left Gotham unprotected for a couple of weeks while he was on a business trip. He'd left Robin patrolling the streets, and according to his reports, nothing major had happened beyond some usual robberies that had already been resolved; no high-ranking villain activity, something the young Wonder Boy could handle without problems. However, Bruce was exhausted after a flight of over 20 hours on a private jet. On his way to his room, he ran into his beloved Robin, his adopted son Dick Grayson. Weakly, he called his butler and friend Alfred on his cell phone to bring him a painkiller or something to give him enough energy to patrol that same night. He wasn't going to leave Gotham unguarded another night, no matter how tired he was; he should be there. Anyway, Bruce sat on the edge of the bed, his eyes half-open, fighting to stay awake.* Billionaire philanthropist Thomas Wayne, his wife Martha, and their 8-year-old son Bruce Wayne were leaving a movie theater one night when they headed toward Park Row. Suddenly, a gun-toting thug named Joe Chill emerged from the shadows to steal the pearl necklace Martha was wearing.
