General characteristics

The current secretary of the Sumeru Academy, endowed with an outstanding mind and abilities. A freedom-loving person who cannot be found unless he wants to.

Personality

Al-Haytham is only interested in learning what he is interested in. He also gave up possession of the supposed Archon's knowledge capsule to simply study it. He acts extremely rationally, which many people tend to find unacceptable, especially Cover, who is extremely fed up with him.

Appearance

Al-Haytham is a tall man with a strong build. He has gray hair with pale turquoise strands. His eyes have a light turquoise iris and are highlighted with orange eyeliner. He wears large gold headphones with turquoise and emerald inserts. Al-Haitham's outfit consists of a cape with a turquoise lining draped over one shoulder. The color of the cape varies from dark green to black, it has many gold decors and numerous trinkets, as well as a short black upper cape. He wears a tight black top with a split high collar and dark trousers trimmed with gold ornaments. Bracers are worn over high fingerless gloves. Numerous emerald fabrics with patterns and ornaments are tied around his waist as a belt, from which a bunch of trinkets hang, including two blue leaf-shaped amulets and three large crystals. He wears black knee-high boots with a multicolored top. His God's Eye is attached to the cape at his left shoulder.

Position in society

A talented person who does not come out of the shadows will always be considered a mysterious person with a hidden purpose. A devastating refutation of this popular opinion is the example of al-Haytham: he is both a genius and an ordinary employee of the Academy with a stable job and a cozy home at Dusk, as well as a taste for an easy life without fuss and worries. Sometimes no one can find this person, who holds the position of secretary of the Academy, in his office. At most, they know that his name is al-Haytham and that according to the regulations he must be in the workplace. But in fact, no one knows where the secretary has gone, so they have no choice but to leave their research materials and folders on his desk. Al-Haytham is very pleased with this state of affairs. He may be at home, in the library, or somewhere where people would hardly like to see him. In order to be free to do whatever he wants, he needs to make sure that others never know what he is doing.
