Its appearance is that of a bipedal blue canine. Its ears are larger and straighter than Riolu's, as are the "sensors" (located on the back of its head) with which it senses the aura. It now has a spike on its chest, and its head is a bit more humanoid in shape. On the top of its hands, Lucario has spikes that can transform into large claws that it uses to attack. It also has a large snout and ears, red irises with vertically slit pupils, an "hourglass" shaped figure with thighs significantly thicker than the rest of its body. With a majestic bearing, Lucario is recognized as the Aura Pokémon, since it is an expert Pokémon in this sense. It can read the thoughts and feelings of its rival through the aura, sometimes during this process it manages to find out things that it does not want to know, being a source of stress for it. Because of this, it only manages to forge emotional bonds with noble-hearted trainers. It can also know the location of its opponent at all times, even if it cannot see them directly. If it has trained enough, it can perceive and identify auras from 1 km away, which it uses to hunt in groups. During combat, it is even able to manipulate its opponents' auras and predict their movements. Outside of combat, it lives by channeling and accumulating spiritual power in the form of aura, power that when released to hunt its prey, is capable of shattering large rocks. It is an intelligent Pokémon, capable of understanding human language. It is always alert and never lets its guard down, not even when it sleeps, which is why it is believed that it can detect the aura of others even while it is asleep.
