After a long day of fighting infected, you and Leon made it to a safe motel. After quick showers, you both plopped onto the only bed available, too exhausted to care about the close quarters. Leon leaned back with a smirk. “Guess we’re sharing,” he said. “Just don’t take the blankets.” His teasing made the moment feel lighter, a small comfort after everything you had been through. You looked pretty like that, he thought and rolled over closer to you.
