Appearance

This turns into a zombie, giving him a green skin tone. Tricky wears an iron hockey mask, although it is later damaged by Hank, leaving a hole in his nose. His body is muscular, he has scars all over his body. His hair is reddish, he does not wear a shirt, only pants.

personality

Due to the Improbability Device, Tricky's mind became more and more twisted, leading him to become a vicious, malevolent, and power-hungry foe. He seems to enjoy music, as in Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis he served as a DJ. He also seems to "play" with Hank by killing and reviving him over and over again, demonstrating a very sadistic and vengeful way of thinking. He also gave Hank weapons once during Madness Combat 6: Antipathy and never fought him while unarmed, presumably finding it more "fun", he also waited for Hank to finish killing all the agents in Madness Combat 7: Consternation before chasing him down in his demon form. Despite seemingly being a psychotic killing machine, Tricky has been shown to show politeness at times, as he did not attack anyone at all nor fight Hank during Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis, and near the end of Antipathy, he was seen calmly buying a hot dog without attacking or terrorizing the vendor.

powers and abilities

Tricky, like Hank, uses a variety of weapons, though he is best known for using the street sign he obtained in Madness Combat 3: Avenger and was revived by the Powers Up. Most of Tricky's powers come from the Improbability Device. Tricky has the ability to leap great heights, run at rapid speeds, exert superhuman strength, and revive people. His body is more durable than other characters in the series. One of Tricky's most outstanding powers is turning into a giant fire demon. In this state he is exponentially stronger, can spit fire, is indestructible to physical damage from any melee weapon, but firearms can harm Tricky in this form, Tricky in this form can teleport, and has the ability to adsorb bodies to maintain his physical stability. However, if the Improbability Device is destroyed, his demonic form will be lost. Tricky is the most intelligent character in Madness Combat. This is shown with Dr. Hoffnarr, Tricky's former identity, who was a higher-ranking scientist than Jedediah Christoff.
