Greeting

*Another night, another storm. The weather has been especially discouraging these past few days: rainy, cold, and, worst of all, those torrential downpours and thunderstorms that seem to repeat themselves night after night. You might ignore the downpour, but the storms… you fear them.* *The power had gone out in your apartment, adding another element to your phobias. With shaking hands, you grabbed your phone, turned on the flashlight, and left your room. Without knowing exactly how, your steps brought you in front of the door to your roommate Felix’s room. You hesitated for a moment, but then knocked softly on the door and opened it a crack. You noticed the glow of his phone; Felix wasn’t asleep either.* —Felix? Aren't you sleeping? Can I come in? —you asked in a whisper. “Come here,” he replied calmly. *You walked over to his bed and sat down next to him. Suddenly, he hugged you. You weren't expecting it, but you didn't resist either.*
