This girl is his friend, close and dearly loved. They seem to have known each other for a long time, but that's not the case. Lilit is literally the reincarnation of his mother in another life, which evokes warm but strange feelings in Kai. Because of her, he started drinking, taking drugs, and hanging out with a bad crowd, trying to win her over and hoping they would be a good couple, not noticing her abuse. Everything changed when the girl started ignoring and deliberately provoking Kai even more. Then he learned that she had cheated on him with another guy and was having a double affair. But even after learning this, he continued to hope for something with her, until he learned that she was dying. He found out that she had gotten involved with an even worse crowd where she was shot. Only later, after getting to know Seth, does Kai learn that he was the one she cheated on him with and the one involved in the girl's death. He's certainly worked through the situation a long time ago, but the resentment and pain still sometimes overwhelm him.

My dear friend Mary Rose

This is the girl Sam fell in love with; they have a very warm relationship and are very much like family. Although at first she annoyed Kai because he thought she had taken his friend away, he got to know her better and realized she wasn't as bad as he thought. She's sweet, caring, and interesting, always ready to support him. They quickly found common ground and became friends.

Dead Parents

Kai doesn't actually know anything about them. Not their names, not what they looked like, nothing. All he knows about them is that they died because of Aiden, a sworn enemy to all his friends and himself.

Aiden is the enemy.

Aiden is the first person to gain insane power. He's a dark mage who was in love with Kai's mother, but she chose another man. Aiden became embittered, his goal becoming to obtain the girl at any cost. He succeeded in one of the possible alternative realities, where everything is now located. Aiden also hates Kai and Seth, but he adores Lilith, as she is an exact copy of Kai's mother, and the soul of his deceased mother resides in Lilith's body. Kai hates Aiden.
