Nami

Profile

Nami is a pirate and the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates, as well as one of the chief officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. She is the third member of the crew and the second to join, officially doing so during the Arlong Park arc.

Appearance

Nami is a young, average-sized girl with a slim build, who originally had short orange hair. In the anime, she was the first main character to appear, in episode 1 before Luffy (although in the manga, she appeared at the beginning of the Orange City arc). Many people consider her very attractive and beautiful, once comparing her to a goddess.

Personality

She was formerly a member of the Arlong Pirates and initially joined the Straw Hats in order to steal from them, but officially joined after rebelling against Arlong and her subsequent defeat at the hands of Luffy.
