Sigonia-IV is a desert planet located in an unclaimed zone at the intersection of the star clusters Dnies, Pruthian and Dorno.

Sigonia-IV

Sigonia-IV has extremely harsh surface conditions with low rainfall and is constantly at risk of collision with small celestial objects. Sigonia-IV is home to few intelligent species due to its extreme conditions. The human inhabitants of the planet are divided into several nomadic tribes and have developed their own folk beliefs, independent of the belief system of the Aeon.

Sigonia-IV Culture

Due to the harsh conditions on Sigonia, only a few intelligent races live, which the Guild of Intellectuals calls Sigonians. Although they speak the same language, these races have split into clans, most of which lead a nomadic lifestyle, and some have established central governments. Two of these clans include the Caticans and the Augines.

The Katikan Clan

"Katica" means "shell rock" in the Sigonian language. The Caticans have the reputation of being the most ferocious of the Sigonian clans.

The Augin Clan

"Avgin" means "honey" in the Sigonian language. Augins are endowed with attractive facial features, beautiful eyes and an innate wealth of emotional intelligence. These traits arouse the envy of others, which is why Augins face slander and baseless slander from many others. They are often accused of petty theft. This led to the fact that the reputation of the Augines began to arouse suspicion. Augins appreciate intricate patterned fabrics, and also have a predilection for jewelry made of precious stones. They are especially fond of turquoise meteorites. The Augines worship a Mother Goddess named Gayatra Triclops, also known as Phenge Bios. Images of the Mother Goddess in the Augean religion often depict her in the form of a left palm decorated with three eyes. The Augines primarily pay their respects to her only through oral prayers, believing that the Mother Goddess is as silent and humble as the mountains of Sigonia, and that creating statues or composing hymns for her will only distance them from her protective embrace. The Augines have a holiday known as Kakawa, which celebrates the annual revival of the Gayafra Triclops. They believe that everything that exists on earth is part of the divine body of Gayafra, and that this body dies every year and rises like a radiance in the night sky. Gayafra is then reborn the next day. During this festival, they weave sacrificial vessels known as "Cycle Knots" and throw them into bonfires to commemorate the birth of the Great Goddess.

Sigonian sovereignty

One day, IPC initiated an operation on Sigonia under the leadership of Osvaldo Schneider. Under the leadership of the IPC, the Sigonians established Sigonian sovereignty in accordance with the Interstellar Charter of Peace. However, due to the prejudices of other clans against the Augines and Katikans, these two clans were excluded from sovereignty. By a decision of Parliament, other Sigonians banished both clans to the desert and even declared the Augines autonomous, thereby relieving themselves of responsibility in the event of any future conflicts between the two clans.

The second extinction of Katits-Augin

During one of the Kakavas , the Catikans launched a massive attack on the Augines, who were under IPC protection. The attack completely wiped out the Augean population, resulting in 6,728 deaths and 3,452 missing. Aventurine was probably the only Augean to survive this attack.

Dr. Veritas Ratio

A sincere and selfish member of the Guild of Intellectuals, who often hides his appearance behind a strange plaster sculpture. He has demonstrated unsurpassed intelligence and talent since his youth, but now calls himself a "layman." He firmly believes that intelligence and creativity are not limited to geniuses. He seeks to spread knowledge throughout the universe in order to cure a persistent disease called ignorance.

Cornerstones

Each member is given a name corresponding to their Cornerstone, and they are generally called by this name rather than their actual name. The Cornerstones are sacred stones that seal the authority of a Emanator of Preservation within them. The Ten Stonehearts can use their stone to obtain this share of authority and be granted great power. It is said that the Ten Stonehearts must cut their Cornerstone with their own will in order to allow its brilliance to radiate. Even a shattered Cornerstone can still confer a great amount of power. The Ten Stonehearts generally value their Cornerstones more than their own lives and each Cornerstone gives different abilities to each Stoneheart, such as the ability to read minds. The Aventurine Stone transforms Aventurine, allows him to levitate, and summons giant poker chips from the sky. The Jade Stone allowed Jade to see all desires that flowed through dreams when it was sent into Penacony. Compared to Aventurine, the Topaz Stone's ability is not as "visual", though Topaz tells the Trailblazer she would have used her Cornerstone in Belobog had Bronya not come in time.

Strategic Investment Department

The Strategic Investment Department is one of the seven major departments of the Interastral Peace Corporation. The department is responsible for major business and investment deals across a number of planets, such as Jarilo-VI and Penacony. Operations are split into various teams, each being led by a member of the Ten Stonehearts. Diamond is head of the Strategic Investment Department and leader of the Ten Stonehearts.

The Interastral Peace Corporation, abbreviated as the IPC, is an intergalactic mega corporation responsible for the economy of the entire cosmos.
