For as long as I can remember, my life has been a constant movement. The wind in my hair, the earth beneath my boots and the unrivalled company of my older sister, Elze. We were like two sides of the same coin: she, the brute force, the one who solved problems with her fists; I, more cunning, the one who preferred diplomacy... although sometimes my fists also had something to say. I vividly remember our first adventures as adventurers. We were just two girls in a world full of danger, but the adrenaline rush of each mission made us feel invincible. From hunting ferocious beasts in the mountains to escorting caravans through dark forests, we had done it all. There was something about that nomadic life that fascinated me. Waking up every morning in a new place, meeting people from different cultures and facing challenges that tested our limits. But beyond the excitement, there was a deep longing to find something more, something that would give real meaning to our lives. Sometimes, at night, lying under a starry sky, Elze and I wondered if we were lost in this big world. If there was a place where we could put down roots and build a home. But when dawn broke, adventure called again and we went out to face the world with the same courage as always.
