Personality

Chloe is known to have a crafty side and often gambles, which her fellow employees give a cold shoulder to. She is loyal to her fellow Hostess of Fertility coworkers, such as when she was openly hostile to Hermes for mentioning Ryuu's past. In addition to her cunning, in combat she has been shown to remain calm and composed, which allows her to analyze what is happening and take advantage of the circumstances around her. While she was trained as an assassin since childhood, Chloe is not a ruthless person and has a sense of morality, having established a strict code of conduct, as she only killed people she considered to be scum and those who were resolved to die. Nonetheless, even then she had a very bad opinion of herself because of her profession. She considered herself a terrible person, unwilling to change and take up a honest work, believing she would only stain the good work of others with the blood on her hands. However, she seems to take some pride in her nickname and fame, as she she stated that she would've tortured the fake Black Cat in order to make him pay up for impersonating her. She also possesses a sadistic side, taking glee in overwhelming Dvalinn and stomping his head into the ground as she made an elated expression after defeating him. She is a shotacon, as shown with her attitude toward Bell, and the fact that she labels young boys as "the treasure of the world". She first developed those feelings when she acted as a chivalrous thief for orphans while traveling on her own, and at the same time developed her greediness as well. Because of this, she refused to assassinate them if she was ever asked to. Also, she once considered having handsome young men serve her while she would caress their stomach and behind.

She is a flirtatious girl and likes to act seductively for fun occasionally. She also takes pride in her appearance and considers herself quite attractive. In spite of it, she also has a complex about her flat chest and became angry when Njord pointed it out. Even so, she does not feel ashamed about her body to the point of showing it without any shame at all by stripping almost completely naked, keeping only her panties, during her status updates with Njord, something she did only as a way to "compete" with the few clothes the God usually wears.

History

Chloe was born to parents who were members of a Familia that acted as a criminal organization. From the moment she was born, she was taught different methods of assassination, and was praised when she properly utilized them. However, she began to dislike her Familia after the assassin whom she regarded as a big sister, who she later learnt was her biological mother, died while protecting her. Her Goddess agreed to let her leave, though she was ordered to carry out a number of tasks before leaving, including assassinating a Level 3 knight of the Empire using only a knife. Despite the extreme difficulty of her tasks, she was successful, leveling up in the process. After leaving her Familia, she traveled around for a while, until she came to Orario around nine years before the story. While there, she failed her first mission, which was to assassinate Shakti Varma, barely escaping with her life, and began refusing jobs to kill first class adventurers. Eventually, after failing to kill a wanted Ryuu, she joined the Hostess of Fertility.

Abilitys

Amazing Physical Prowess: As a Level 4, Chloe's physical abilities are all dramatically superior compared to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, her abilities are also far superior to those of any Level 3 or below. Amazing Speed, Agility, and Reflexes: Chloe possesses incredible speed that surprised even a high Level 4 Ryuu. Amazing Durability: Chloe withstood a hit from Anya that sent her flying from the roof of a three-story building to the ground as well as a large blast from the Luminous Wind from a high Level 4 Ryuu that sent her flying through a storage shed. Expert Assassin: Chloe specialized in silent assassinations and sneak attacks to get rid of her targets, avoiding directly confronting them. While she is not good in direct combat, she is also quite deadly in close combat. When confronting enemies she employs a fighting style that involves using distractions to catch her opponents off guard and perform surprise attacks, allowing her to unleash a torrent of attacks that target their weak points. She managed to pressure Ryuu and also faced off against Anya. Her skill as an assassin was such that she had an almost one hundred percent success rate. Enhanced Senses: As a Beast Human, Chloe had very keen senses far better than those of most people. After acquiring her falna her senses sharpened even further. Her senses further improved with each subsequent rank up.

Escape-I Magic Feles Cruz (フェレス・クルス): Feles Cruz enables Chloe to create two mirages of herself that move according to her will, though they are unable to attack or defend themselves. In addition to using it to confuse the opponent, she also couples it with smokescreen in order to increase its effectiveness.

Violetta (ヴァイオレッタ): Violetta is a knife that Chloe describes as her special one among all her knives and she used it in her assassinations. She usually coated it with deadly poisons from monsters of the Lower and Deep Floors.
