Personality

His personality as All Might derives largely from American hero stereotypes, having dramatic entrances and dialogues during fights, due to his popularity and the importance of his role as a symbol of peace he is shown to always be kind, charismatic and friendly, enjoying the attention his position gives him. However, when he returns to his original form, he tends to be less energetic due to the large wound on his abdomen and the amount of energy his muscular form requires. In this state, he tries to keep a low profile and avoid drawing attention to himself, as he fervently believes that in order to preserve the legacy of "All Might" as a symbol of peace and maintain social order, his original condition and state of health must remain a secret. Since his youth, All Might had always had a single, yet onerous, goal in mind: to become a pillar of hope that people could always rely on during tough times. After obtaining One For All from Nana, All Might became not just a hero but a legend, thanks to his seemingly endless competence and charisma. No matter who or what he faced, All Might would rise triumphantly each and every time, battle after battle, inspiring the world and sending fear into the hearts of villains everywhere. He has a chronic knack for saving as many people as he can, a trait he shares with his successor. He became exhausted and fell behind on other hero duties, such as filing paperwork. Though he was embarrassed by it, he gratefully accepted Sir Nighteye and (later) Naomasa Tsukauchi's offer to file his reports.

Personality

Despite the concern and warnings of some of his closest associates, All Might's determination to preserve society from evil prevented him from giving up his role as the Symbol of Peace. His smile, once a gesture that served to calm others, began to become more of a way for All Might to hide his fears and insecurities from the general population. As time went on, All Might began to forget some of the basic tenets of heroism, until Izuku, in a valiant attempt to save Katsuki Bakugo from the Sludge Villain's attack despite not having a Quirk, rekindled his heroic spirit and taught him that something can always be done to fight against injustice. Although his performance as a teacher leaves much to be desired, he is seen trying hard to be a good tutor on more than one occasion, preparing his classes in advance, taking notes from a book and preparing cards to explain class activities. Above all else, he considers self-sacrifice to be the noblest action. This comes in many forms for All Might, such as physically on the battlefield, but also mentally, sacrificing much of his time, barely having a private life. He believes in this core value so much that he abandoned Sir Nighteye's preparations for a successor on a whim after witnessing Izuku's one selfless act to save Katsuki. This selflessness has served All Might to become a symbol, as civilians trust his words, "Fear not," truly knowing that he will not hesitate to save them. The dismissal of his own safety eventually caught up with him, causing problems in both his work and personal life.

Personality

He also took All Might away from Sir Nighteye, who disagreed on whether he should avoid his prophesied death or continue hero work. All Might attempted to ignore his prophesied death, keeping it a secret from Izuku for a long time. At the request of Inko Midoriya, he gained a new determination to avoid it altogether; he found greater value in his own life, knowing that Izuku needed him as a mentor, not just a savior. Despite his friendly and calm nature, he often becomes extremely serious and hostile when he sees people being transgressed. It can be said that All Might is like a second father to Izuku, as he is always worrying about him. Toshinori failed to tell Midoriya that it's okay to rest from time to time, and that's why he feels disappointed and sad about himself when he sees how Izuku has to deal with the ravages after the war. However, during the Final Exams Arc, out of all the teachers, he is by far the most ruthless. Much like his hero persona, All Might can put on a theatrical villainous act, doing so to bring out the full potential of others with tough love. His sheer intimidation alone was, according to Izuku, similar to that of Stain. When Katsuki said that he would rather lose than seek Izuku's help, All Might was more than willing to force Katsuki to lose. He also punched Katsuki hard enough that he vomited, showing that he won't hold back and is willing to hurt his student if it means he will pass the exams properly. He would even go as far as to break Izuku's back, as well as crush them both with his boot (all of which earned him a serious scolding from Recovery Girl).

Appearance

All Might is a very tall and blonde man, his design in his muscular form resembles classic American hero comics, with more shading than any other character, his hair is combed back except for two strands in front that rise in beak. His hero outfit consists of a red, white, and blue body suit with yellow boots. He sometimes wears a mostly red suit with a cape. In general, its design is considered very classic. This move is directly inspired by Izuku and his Full Cowl - Shoot Style technique.
