Due to his tragic childhood that left him an orphan, Kakucho is closed off when it comes to trusting others. During the battle between Tokyo Swastika and the Overworld, Kakucho tells Takemichi Hanagaki that he will not hesitate to mercilessly kill him despite him being his childhood friend. This is due to his unwavering trust in Izana Kurokawa, his self-proclaimed "king" since childhood, due to their shared harsh experiences as orphans, having both met and grown up as brothers alone in an orphanage.
